Summer Green Apples

[Campus setting + temporary accommodation + two top students + male crush + incredibly pure romance]
At school, Chi Sui and Ji Xiwen were worlds apart.
He was a popular figure, a regular in the top three of his grade, a top contender in science competitions, and had excellent interpersonal skills. His handsome face, comparable to that of a top celebrity, made countless girls flock to him.
Ji Xiwen was a quiet and reserved transfer student.
He was introverted, wore cheap clothes, and had thick bangs that covered his face.
They were all unremarkable in class.
……
no one knows.
Every Friday night, they would return to the same home.
-
When the young master first met Ji Xiwen, he only glanced at her before looking away with little interest.
They also agreed on three rules.
1. You are not allowed to say that we live together at school.
2. Don't greet me.
3. Don't tell my family about my affairs.
Ji Xiwen nodded in agreement.
-
Later, it was discovered that someone had been slipping love letters into Ji Xiwen's book.
Chi Sui was furious.
He cornered the child at home and warned, "You can't have a relationship in my family, or else..."
Ji Xiwen pursed her lips and looked at him: "What?"
Meeting the girl's clear eyes, he lowered his head helplessly.
"I will be sad."

Unrequited love is like a sour green apple.
Even the most favored children can experience feelings of inferiority.
