Chapter 39 Hiding

"Oh... God..."

When the little rascal woke up with a soft moan, she found herself wrapped in a large cocoon, her limbs unable to struggle. Not to mention her limbs, her tongue still felt a little numb.

She looked around and saw that she was in a secluded forest, with tall trees that almost blocked out the entire sky. Right next to her, a guy wearing a hoodie and a spider mask was eating canned food with his back to her.

After the little rascal finished eating the canned food, Li Buying tied her up again, covered her head with a spider web, and continued to wander aimlessly through the forest, sitting in a different spot.

He hadn't forgotten that Professor X had a machine that could amplify abilities; he could use Occlumency, but Rogue couldn't.

Looking at the handwriting left by Li Buying, Wolverine was filled with doubt and uncertainty. In the end, he still got on his motorcycle and began to chase after the two based on their scent.

A while later, a stealthy high-tech aircraft flew over the forest. Storm and the rest of the X-Men landed and saw the motorcycle tire tracks and the rumors on the trees.

"No need, we're enough. The rest of you should go destroy the research institute to rescue the children and bring Raven here."

Magneto looked around, and his sense of metal allowed him to detect the motorcycles speeding through the forest and the airplanes flying in the sky. The metal parts on his body immediately turned into thin, round discs.

He took the lead, stepping on the circular slabs and flying away quickly. The Red Devil disappeared from the spot and reappeared with Mystique.

Watching Magneto fly far away, Red Devil muttered something as he used his powers to lead the others to catch up with him.
