Chapter 8 The Assassin Master's Memories

While everyone was nervously watching the members of the opposing gang, Li Buying, fully equipped, flipped down from the steel beam and clung to the underside of it, then crawled over to the two highest mafia members.

Mr. Negative's men and Kingpin's men were wary of each other, which gave Li Buying an opportunity. When the two top members glanced down as the transaction was about to be completed, he immediately fell from the steel beam, quickly drawing a dagger from his waist during the fall.

Li Buying fell silently without making a sound. The two mafia members felt a gust of wind and looked up instinctively. Suddenly, a guy wearing a black hoodie and a white mask fell from the sky.

Before they could react, two daggers were plunged straight into their throats. The two men opened their mouths but could not make a sound, only emitting gasping "hoarse" sounds as their bodies fell backward.

Taking the gun from the two men, Li Buying aimed the pistol at the ground beside her in the darkness. Those who looked over at the sound of her falling could only see—

A member, whether from the opposing side or their own, fired a shot nearby, clutched his stomach, shouted, and knelt down: "An ambush!"

The tension that had been building up around everyone finally snapped because of Li Buying's actions.

No one considered whether there were outsiders or third-party members. The chain of suspicion was complete, and neither side dared to entrust their trust to the other. What they needed to do now was to strike first!

"Fire!" "Fire!"

Gunshots rang out and smoke filled the air. Li Buying, pretending to fall, crawled forward on the ground until she reached a blind spot. She then climbed onto the steel beam to observe the two sides fighting and aimed her pistol at the flour box and the money box.

Kingpin's men gripped the briefcase tightly, glaring resentfully at the film crew who were plotting to double-cross him: "Let's go, we need to get out of here right now. Those damned Devil Gang, they'll make you pay sooner or later."

The gang on the film was originally called the Devil Gang.

Li Buying remembered the name, raised his pistol, aimed at the people on Kingpin's side, and fired several shots. Because the gunfire was too chaotic, he was not noticed.

The first shot confirmed a point, the second shot confirmed the difference after moving the muzzle, and after confirming the distance between the first and second shots, Li Buying aimed at the hand holding the suitcase and fired the third shot.

The third shot hit the palm and grip precisely. Kingpin's junior officer, in pain, instinctively threw his hand up, and the briefcase landed directly on the open ground between the two sides under everyone's gaze.

Money is a powerful motivator. The Demon Gang leader, who had originally intended to retreat, stopped fleeing and launched another attack on Kingpin's side, wanting to take the money with him.

In the minds of the two underlings, the other side was trying to double-cross them, and they were just forced to fight back.

Li Buying, who reignited the conflict between the two sides, lay down again, preparing to wait until both sides were completely exhausted before going out to reap the rewards.

After a full 20 minutes, the gunfight was finally nearing its end. Of the more than 40 people on the field, only eight remained: three from Kingpin's side and five from the Demon Gang, all wounded, and the Demon Gang's leader was dead.

The time was ripe. Li Buying leaned out from the steel beam and aimed her pistol at Kingpin's underling, firing three shots as usual. The last shot hit him squarely in the head. Only then did some of the remaining gang members realize something was wrong and look up at their heads.

Having fired a shot from the shadows, Li Buying landed on the second floor from the steel beam beforehand. After changing positions, she aimed her gun at the member of the Demon Gang who had noticed something strange and shot him in the head before he could reveal his discovery.

After eliminating the remaining six members, Kingpin and the Demon Gang each had only one member left. Realizing that there were more people than themselves, the two hid even deeper. Even though they guessed that the fight was caused by Li Buying, they still had no intention of cooperating.

The elusive boy moved slowly, crawling through the shadows like a real spider. Sparks flew from the gun barrel as he killed the last member of the Demon Gang. The member from Kingpin's side immediately ran away without looking back!

However, it was of no use. A bullet pierced his head. Li Buying, who had used a scheme to eliminate everyone, leaned against the wall, panting slightly, his heart pounding. Only now did he feel the immense tension.

This was no place to linger. The only surviving boy jumped from the second floor, glanced regretfully at the box full of banknotes on the ground, and left without taking it, leaving the scene as it was.

Two hours after Li Buying left, a large number of police cars surrounded the abandoned factory. FBI and DEA personnel arrived late, only to find the place in ruins and filled with countless corpses.

Was this a case of being double-crossed?

The thought flashed through everyone's minds. They were quite puzzled when they saw the two boxes still on the ground. Soon, the police surrounded the area, trying to find something. However, Li Buying handled the situation very well and left no clues about himself.

Meanwhile, Li Buying, who was unstained by blood, shook the dust off her clothes in a small park and waited for the smell of gunpowder to dissipate slightly before walking home along a path with fewer security cameras.

After returning home, Li Buying threw her clothes into the washing machine and lay in the bathtub, gradually relaxing her muscles in the warm water. Her tense nerves relaxed again. After closing her eyes and adjusting her mindset, she opened the panel and looked at the task bar.
