Chapter 7 Intimidation and Interrogation

Compared to the dry sewers they had been taken to before, the sewers here were filled with a stench. After dragging the two away from that location, Li Buying didn't rush to interrogate them. Instead, she grabbed one of the men's arms and twisted them backward forcefully.

Click!

"Aaaaaah!!"

The excruciating pain instantly sobered the gangster. His hands were broken, and he was drenched in cold sweat. Looking up, he could only vaguely make out a thin man whose face was hidden in a hood. Lying on the ground, the gangster gritted his teeth: "Who are you, from the Maggia gang?! Trying to double-cross us?"

Li Buying remained calm and kicked the mafia member who was trying to ambush her from behind, rendering him unable to move. She then released the man's arm, went to his side, grabbed his arm, and twisted it.

Another scream rang out, and Li Buying kicked the man's leg, breaking it as well. She then went to the gangster whose arm she had broken earlier and asked, "Where is your gang's new trading location?"

"**You're a **child**, we won't tell you, go eat your **'s**...!"

A torrent of profanities poured from their mouths, but Li Buying showed no anger. She gently placed her hand on the gangster's head, extending her now somewhat sharp fingernails to press against his scalp, slowly tracing them across his oily head through the garbage bag.

"It's okay, we still have a long time to get along," Li Buying said, deliberately lowering her voice and pretending to be a psychopath. "Anyway, there's still one person there. I can deal with you first, let him keep an eye on things, and then ask him if he's willing to tell on us."

"No matter how you torture me, I will never betray you..."

The Mafia member felt a chill run down his spine. He subconsciously swallowed, almost revealing the name of the boss he served in the tension.

Unable to escape the Mafia's clutches, Li Buying continued her intimidation: "Is that so? That's great. I hope you can maintain this attitude even after I skin you alive."

Peel it!?

Upon hearing Li Buying's words, the gangster trembled and exchanged a shocked glance with another teammate, their hearts instantly filled with fear.

Li Buying felt the tension in his body, pretending not to notice anything, and ran her fingertips along the back of the mafia member's neck: "I'll start from the top of his head, making a small cut little by little, and then insert a scalpel directly into his skin!"

If you press your fingers on the top of your head and forcefully poke to the side, in the dark, people's imaginations will become richer, and the mafia members can even feel their scalp being peeled off.

"Do you know how painful that is?"

Li Buying chuckled, grabbed the mafia member's fingers and squeezed them hard, crushing them instantly!

"Aaaaaah!"

The excruciating pain caused the mafia member to scream again. Once the pain subsided, Li Buying, who actually didn't know how painful skinning was, whispered in his ear, "It must have hurt dozens of times, or even hundreds of times more?"

"Oh, by the way, I don't know if you believe in God? Those who are skinned alive cannot go to heaven. After death, their sins are compounded, and they will suffer the punishment of the devil forever."

Having caught a glimpse of the Mafia pendant and ring, Li Buying guessed that he was actually a rather superstitious person. Although God's true status in Marvel was probably not as high as in DC, both were considered mainstream beliefs among humans.

Confirming he was a superstitious person, Li Buying directly threatened him. Under immense pressure, the mafia member's pupils dilated; utterly terrified, he tried to reveal the new location, but another mafia member shouted:

"No, we can't tell him! Have you forgotten the oath you took when you joined the gang?!"

"It's fine if you don't tell me," Li Buying immediately added fuel to the fire. "Anyway, your companion is still here. Once we skin you alive, your screams will definitely change his mind."

"Alright, do you choose to tell me, or do you choose to be skinned alive? There's one more thing: being skinned alive doesn't necessarily mean death. If you survive," Li Buying whispered in the Mafia member's ear, "I'll try to pull out all your bones."

……

Shortly after, Li Buying kicked the two corpses into the sewer. Of course, she didn't actually skin them or remove their bones. The religious mafia member confessed under the extremely dark circumstances, and the transaction took place in an abandoned factory.

As for its authenticity, Li Buying didn't intend to verify it. If it was true, he would continue the mission; if not, he would try to find the mission location. If he couldn't find it, so be it, since there was no penalty for failing the mission anyway.

"I need to go back and take a shower to get rid of the odor, then buy a hood and gloves to conceal my identity..."

Li Buying pondered as she climbed out of the sewer. There were still a full eight hours until the transaction time; she had plenty of time.

He first went home to get rid of the body odor, put on a black hoodie made of a material that wouldn't pick up too much smell, bought gloves and a blank mask, and then started his first activity.

Li Buying's protection is mainly aimed at gangsters. If the FBI or something really targets him, it would be easy for them to find his true identity by comparing his body shape. But it's not so easy for gangsters to find him.

Arriving near the abandoned factory by subway, Li Buying maximized his senses, confirmed that no one was inside, and then entered. He carefully examined the terrain, grabbed a pillar, and climbed to the top floor, hiding among the massive steel beams, where no one below could see him.

At 2 a.m., Li Buying, who had closed her eyes to rest, sensed the movement and immediately opened them, peering down from the steel beam.

Several cars were parked in the abandoned factory, and many men wearing hoods with oriental characteristics got out. The leader shouted, "Go and look around."

The men immediately scattered to inspect the factory, and after confirming there was no danger, they regrouped, leaving only a small number of people to carry out security work.

Shortly after, another group of people involved in the transaction arrived at the factory and did the same work as the first group of gangsters.

After the tedious procedures were completed, the two leaders shook hands: "Please give my regards to Mr. Kingpin."

"Give my regards to Mr. Negative Film."

The inexplicable tension did not ease with the handshake. Upon hearing their greetings, Li Buying finally realized which two forces they were from: one side was the Mafia villain known as Mr. Negative, and the other side was Kingpin's men.

Li Buying had heard of Mr. Negative Film; it seemed to have appeared in Spider-Man, and its black and white color scheme was quite memorable.

He is a Chinese man with a dual personality who leads the largest gang in Chinatown, and this group of people seems to be a mutant whose superpower is to reverse the nature of many things.

However, none of this was what Li Buying needed to care about right now. He ended his recollection and stared intently at the two parties in the transaction. Soon, in his line of sight, the Kingpin side took out US dollars, and the film side took out bags of white powder.

Those kinds of transactions, but aren't the quantities a bit small?

The reason there was only one box was that it wasn't a direct transaction between Kim and the negatives, but rather a small-scale transaction between his subordinates. Greeting the two bosses was similar to asking "Have you eaten?", a kind of greeting.
