A Certain Magical Hogwarts

Chapter 34 Burning Heloise

Chapter 34 Burning Heloise (Third Update)

The tabby cat disappeared, and Professor McGonagall took its place.

She was wearing square glasses that looked exactly like the markings around a cat's eyes.

McGonagall's expression remained unchanged, indicating that this wasn't the first time she'd encountered something like this.

William even strongly suspects that some students have teased her with cat toys or stroked her head!

Everyone fell silent, startled by Professor McGonagall's move.

Bobo Tea was even more frightened. It didn't know how the beautiful tabby cat had suddenly disappeared and turned into a stern woman.

Its fur stood on end, it grabbed its dried fish, and turned to flee the scene of the crime.

Professor McGonagall did not stop her, but looked around, lingering particularly on William for a while.

With a low-pressure aura like Professor Snape's, everyone knows she's not someone to mess with.

Professor McGonagall began, "Transfiguration will be the most complex and dangerous spell you will learn at Hogwarts."

"Anyone who misbehaves in my class will be asked to leave and never be allowed to come back in."

I warned you all beforehand.

No one spoke; Bobo Tea huddled trembling beside William's legs.

"Transfiguration, as the name suggests, is a spell that transforms one object into another."

"It can bring inanimate objects to life, and it can also transform living creatures into some kind of object," Professor McGonagall said, taking her wand from her pocket.

"Like this."

She waved her wand gently, and Bobo Cha, who was hiding at William's feet, flew up.

Professor McGonagall hugged Boba Tea, a slight smile playing on her lips.

Bobocha looked at Professor McGonagall pitifully, meowing softly in an attempt to win her over with its cuteness.

Professor McGonagall's wand touched Boba's head.

With a "whoosh," the Boba Tea transformed into a cup.

Professor McGonagall gripped the cat-tail-shaped handle and waved it in the air so that the students below could see it clearly.

Everyone's attention was drawn to it.

Professor McGonagall tapped the bobo tea a few more times, and a pink pig, shaped like a blower and snorting, appeared on the desk.

Bobocha also has a pair of wings. When Professor McGonagall waves her wand, it flies into the air like a drone.

Everyone clapped and stared excitedly upwards, eager to start learning immediately.

Professor McGonagall transformed Bobo back to normal, stroked its orange head, and with a wave of her wand, a cat bowl appeared in front of her.

Boba sniffed the snack, swallowed it in one gulp, and after wolfing it down, darted back to William's side.

Professor McGonagall said, "Alright, everyone, open 'The Beginner's Guide to Transformation.' Today we'll talk about the basic principles and Gump's first transformation squeeze rule."

Everyone opened the book and saw the dense formulas, derivations, and theorems, and they all looked somewhat dejected.

Professor McGonagall continued, "If everything goes smoothly, perhaps you can try transforming today."

Hearing Professor McGonagall's words, everyone became excited again.

Theoretical knowledge is undoubtedly dry; as Professor McGonagall put it, it is a difficult and complex course.

An hour passed, and Professor McGonagall was still talking about various theoretical knowledge, with everyone taking a lot of notes.

To attract everyone's attention, Professor McGonagall would occasionally perform some amazing transformations, and Bobocha became her cat model.

William listened with great interest. Although he had studied this material on his own and had asked Cedric about the parts he didn't understand, there were still dozens of Hagrids between Cedric and Professor McGonagall.

Perhaps sensing that everyone was already dizzy and overwhelmed, Professor McGonagall finally put down her textbook, looked at the relieved students, and said, "Alright, now we can try some practical exercises."

She handed each student a match and said, "Your goal is to turn the match into a needle, the finer the better."

Qiu held her wand, aimed it at Matchstick, and unleashed a glare attack. Matchstick countered with an Immovable Hades, and lay peacefully on the table.

Marcos Belby jabbed a match hard, and the matchstick snapped in half with a crack.

He glanced at Professor McGonagall, not daring to ask for another match, and instead pretended nothing had happened, continuing to casually poke at the matches.

The other students in the class weren't much better off; most of them didn't even know the incantation and just sat there dumbfounded.

"Have you learned it yet?" Qiu gave up trying and turned to look at William.

William was still looking at the textbook, but the content was clearly from later in the curriculum.

"Barely acceptable." William put down his textbook and picked up his wand from the table.

He gently touched the match, and the match disappeared, leaving a long needle on the table.

That's not entirely accurate either. The thing called a needle, but which is actually a small iron rod, is almost as thick as a matchstick, with one end slightly tapered, which can be abstractly represented as a pointed tip.

This is quite surprising, considering that they are far ahead of the other students!

"How did you do that?" Katie Bell, who was sitting in the back, stood up and asked with great envy.

She discovered that people are different, and Ravenclaw's genius was indeed well-deserved.

William shrugged and said, "I spent a lot of time on this during the summer vacation."

As a great wizard once said, "I simply used the time others spent drinking coffee to study transfiguration."

Several students nearby were drawn over by Katie Bell's shouts, and they were all astonished to see William successfully use Transfiguration.

Professor McGonagall walked up to William, while Bobo Cha shrank back in his robes, not daring to show his face.

She glanced at the iron bar on the table, a look of surprise in her eyes, and her pursed lips seemed less clenched.

Turning matches into fine needles was a task for several weeks later, and most students wanted to complete it by then, roughly a month after starting school.

Professor McGonagall was just trying to ease the tension; she didn't expect anyone to be able to complete the task.

"Mr. Stark, very good," Professor McGonagall said. "Ravenclaw, one point."

Cormac McClargan snorted; he had disliked William since he enrolled in school.

McCrae had always thought that once she entered the school, her one-in-a-million talent would be fully unleashed, but she never expected that William would pull her further and further away.

He picked up his wand, stared at the match, and began to hold his breath.

His veins bulged, his face was gloomy, magic flowed through his body, and his wand trembled in his hand.

Finally, the turbid air rose, the clear air descended, and the two energies were evenly distributed. Food returned to the large intestine, and water returned to the bladder... A turbid and pungent gas broke free from the body's constraints and entered the classroom.

comfortable...

The Gryffindor friends around MacLaggan covered their noses and scattered to the sides.

McLagan didn't notice, because he felt extremely comfortable and in perfect condition. He picked up his wand, gently tapped the matches a few times, and cast a spell.

hiss!

The match was lit instantly, and with the help of a special gas in the air, the flame shot up.

McLagan was terrified and quickly threw the match, which landed right on Eloise Meadgen's fluffy light-colored hair.

I wonder how long it's been since she washed her hair.

The greasy hair was instantly ignited.

Eloise turned into a giant matchstick.
