A Certain Magical Hogwarts
Chapter 33 The Attack of Boba Tea
Chapter 33 The Attack of Bobo Tea (Second Update)
Of all the classes, Transfiguration was undoubtedly the one William was most looking forward to.
Cedric's specialty was Transfiguration, and William learned a lot from him during the summer vacation.
However, while William was interested, he wasn't particularly interested in Transfiguration.
William finally discovered the subjects he wasn't very good at.
He is very talented in both Charms and Potions, especially the former.
Upon first encountering magic, William cast the Levitation Charm. He also effortlessly mastered the various dark magic defensive spells taught by Professor Tywin.
He could perform many of the standard spells for first and second graders in one go, and their power far exceeded that of his peers.
That's talent!
Transfiguration was different; his progress in self-studying it over the summer was very slow.
William clearly felt his ease and confidence from his spells and potions classes had vanished; he had gone from a top student to a mediocre one.
The same problem can be solved by some people with just a glance, while others can work through it many times without understanding its meaning.
William undoubtedly belongs to the latter category.
This is not to say that William is really bad; in terms of learning Transfiguration, he is only at an average level.
Is that enough? You know, everything is afraid of comparison!
It took William more than half a month to barely turn the same match into an ugly needle.
Cedric, on the other hand, was able to do it perfectly in just two days when he first started learning.
Two days vs. fifteen days!
Now, Cedric has almost finished self-studying Transfiguration in his third year and is beginning his preparations for Animagus training.
In comparison, Cedric's talent in Transfiguration completely dwarfs William's.
……
……
The Transfiguration classroom was on the second floor, and sunlight streamed in through the windows, making it noticeably warmer than Snape's Potions classroom.
William, Cho, and Cedric parted ways at the intersection, and the two went into the classroom.
The classroom was already full of people, especially Gryffindor students.
They knew better than anyone how strict Professor McGonagall was, so they dared not be late.
However, even though Professor McGonagall was the head of her own department, most of the Gryffindor students hoped that William would continue to perform well and get her into the school hospital as well.
You don't need to stay long, just a day or two will do.
But they are sure to be disappointed.
William thought about it carefully at noon and concluded that the main culprit behind the two teaching accidents was Marietta.
She herself is still hospitalized due to extreme shock.
Without her, nothing unexpected will happen in this class!
William would bet on... Nat.
Money was not a problem, of course. The key was that he believed in Professor McGonagall's abilities, unlike those two useless people who were still lying in their hospital beds.
Bobo Tea followed behind William, swaying unsteadily.
It had slept all morning and was full of energy, so it followed William out to digest its food and take a stroll.
Most importantly, this classroom lacked the cold, musty smell it disliked and the presence of other specimens of its kind.
Not only that, but it also has a peculiar flavor that inexplicably attracts it.
Hmm... How unique! Boba curled her ears and kept sniffing, trying to find the source of the smell.
Fortunately, it was well-behaved and didn't urinate everywhere, thus establishing its territory.
William casually found a seat, and Qiu sat down next to him.
Apart from a few junior wizards, most of the Gryffindor students sat far away, seemingly afraid of being splattered with William's blood.
"Professor McGonagall hasn't arrived yet?" Qiu asked, glancing around after taking out her textbook.
She had heard that Professor McGonagall was the strictest professor, and now there were only two minutes left before class started. Could something have really happened to her on the way?
Qiu looked at William with a strange expression.
Not just her, everyone was looking at William like that.
William touched his face. Did he look even more handsome today?
That shouldn't be the case. He's already reached the pinnacle of human handsomeness; there shouldn't be any room for him to improve, right?
Just then, the Boba tea on William's table suddenly stood up.
It finally found the reason for its restlessness.
There was a cat crouching on the very front of the stage!
That was an extremely beautiful tabby cat, with excellent fur and a very well-proportioned body. It was definitely not a dyed pig!
What makes this cat truly special isn't the unique markings around its eyes, but rather its overall demeanor.
Its eyes are cold and sharp, more like a human than a cat!
William suddenly remembered a cute pet from a novel he had read in his previous life—a silly cat named Black Charcoal.
William stared at the tabby cat, and the tabby cat stared back at him.
Just as the two sides were exchanging glances and testing each other's wits, Bobo Tea snatched up its dried fish and suddenly leaped up.
It strode along on its four short legs, as if flying, stepping on the fluffy heads of the few Gryffindor wizards in front of it, and used the legendary "light-footed movement" to walk towards the tabby cat.
William's face turned ashen with fright, making him look like Snape in his hospital bed...
Recalling his previous discussion with Cedric about the Animagus, and considering the cat's unusual behavior, even William, who was slow to react, already knew who the cat was!
Yes, McGonagall, who can instruct Cedric on Animagus and is also a Transfiguration professor... how could I not know Animagus?
This is what a true feline overlord looks like!
William now understood why Cedric had hesitated when questioned about the seven registered Animagus.
And why was it that Cedric kept suggesting he bring Boba tea to class in the afternoon?
What do you mean you can't remember the name? What do you mean Professor McGonagall likes cats? Seeing Bobo tea will give Ravenclaw points... Bullshit! Cedric may look handsome, but he's actually quite wicked.
Isn't this bullying the honest person?
Because William strictly controls his diet, Boba Tea hasn't turned into a pig yet.
With its well-proportioned body and agile movements, it overturned three bottles of ink, broke two quill pens, and finally, using Cormac McClargan's head, leaped onto the podium like an antelope.
The whole process was completed in one go, with the dried fish still in its mouth.
The tabby cat was also completely bewildered. She was still giving William a warning look when a small orange cat suddenly darted over.
Bobo Tea placed the dried fish on the table and eagerly nudged it toward the tabby cat.
William's face grew paler and paler. He suddenly remembered something terrible—cats are strange animals. When they encounter a stranger of their kind, they sometimes sniff the other's butt and taste its saltiness.
This is similar to how people greet each other when they meet acquaintances by saying, "Have you eaten?"
fast!
Do something quick to stop Boba Tea from causing this disaster. William doesn't want to be hospitalized, and he certainly doesn't want to die with it!
Fortunately, Bobo Tea circled the tabby cat once, and under the cat's cold gaze, it didn't dare to go any further.
William breathed a sigh of relief. His cat was a shy and good boy, not so rude or direct.
But the next second, Bobocha suddenly lay down on its own and meowed, indicating that the tabby cat could lick its fur.
"..."
……
……
(P.S. Some might think it's exaggerated to prepare to learn Animagus in second year, but the Marauders learned Animagus on their own in fifth year, and Jaime and the others prepared for three years. That means they started preparing for Animagus in their second year, and that was self-taught, so for geniuses, it's not an exaggeration at all.)
