A Certain Magical Hogwarts

Chapter 335 Prison Break!

Chapter 335 Prison Break!

Prison breakouts are a technical feat, especially breaking into the Ministry of Magic to snatch someone—that's an act of utter madness, beyond the realm of base pleasures.

But when you add "France" to the suffix... wow! Everything changes.

The difficulty level suddenly dropped by several notches, and my courage buff burned brightly, as if I had transformed into the God of War of Gryffindor.

However, Gryffindor alone is not enough; being too reckless will only result in a terrible death!

Thus, as two students who perfectly embodied the spirit of Hogwarts, William and Hermione fully utilized their Ravenclaw abilities and devised a detailed plan:

First, let the enemy take the initiative to bring Newt out of the cell.

The Ministry of Magic's prison is located deep underground, protected by powerful magic and guarded by a large-scale security force.

Rushing in like a reckless fool, Newt might not be saved, and Newt might get trapped himself instead.

Hermione took on this task; she was to go to Clegane's office and have them bring Newt out.

But Hermione doesn't have an equal say, and Clegane won't talk to her... while William is going to break out of prison, so the girl can only use Polyjuice Potion to transform into William and speak for him.

This also creates a false impression for Clegane, attracting his attention.

The plan was absolutely perfect.

But to impersonate William, you have to understand him, otherwise you'll be exposed after just a few words... Hermione can do it perfectly!

In her words, "No one knows William better than me."

The two also simulated the conversation many times in the safety table.

Hermione's role-playing was so convincing that it caught William's eye, as if he had discovered a new world.

William's mission is to rescue Newt. He uses Polyjuice Potion to transform into Clegane, while the real Clegane is in the office talking to "William".

The entire plan was executed perfectly. The only flaw was that Hermione acted a little too early, or rather, William acted a little too slowly, which caused the Ministry of Magic's defense mechanisms to be activated.

William now faces four Aurors.

He held his wand, his eyes revealing three parts mockery, three parts indifference, and four parts nonchalance... as if he had drunk watered-down fake wine.

The wizard on the far right launched a spell first, which William deftly deflected, and the red light struck the wall.

He slightly turned his body to dodge the second spell, raised his wand, and flung the other person heavily into a high chair that appeared out of nowhere.

With his hands bound, he was forced to sit in a chair and fly backward into the elevator, making hard contact with the wall.

William spun his wand, and a transparent barrier formed in front of him.

Several spells struck it, immediately curving it into a breathtaking arc.

William twisted his hands, and a blue light, like a full moon, shot into the air and struck the barrier.

The blue light not only shattered the shield, but also smashed the spells of the three Aurors to pieces in one fell swoop!

A burst of light shot out in all directions, mixed with powerful magic, creating countless craters upon landing.

William smiled coldly, and his powerful magic suddenly spread out. He pointed his wand at the air and drew all the spraying liquid towards him.

The water sprayed out in one go, transforming into countless spears. With a flick of William's wand, they surged forth like a giant wave, sweeping towards the three of them.

"Armor protection!" The three of them quickly used the Iron Armor Spell.

A row of spears struck the invisible wall and bounced off immediately, but the second row of spears had already arrived, shattering the spears before landing on the armor spell again.

After three rounds of attacks, shattering the Iron Armor Charm, William swung his wand, and the water spear exploded.

He came to break into the prison, not to kill the Aurors; the nature of the situation is completely different.

William swung his wand again, slamming an Auror against the wall. With another swing, he lifted another Auror into the air, where he was then tightly bound by ropes formed from the water, like a silkworm cocoon.

He threw it like a slingshot, and it bounced back, knocking down the third Auror.

The corridor, which was only a dozen meters long, was filled with several crisscrossing ravines, leaving Newt, who was suspended in mid-air in the distance, dumbfounded.

He couldn't help but mutter to himself, "When I was young, I wasn't much worse than this, was I?"

William walked over to Newt, removed the spell from him, and returned a wand to him.

Newt's wand was always hidden in the Niffler's pouch, so if he really wanted to escape from prison at first, he still had a chance.

You could escape, but there's no need!

After all, I'm getting old, my legs aren't as nimble as they used to be, and my body isn't as strong as it used to be.

Smuggling magical creatures is still necessary, but the kind of thing that causes disasters in other cities all the time should be left to the younger generation.

This is what inheritance is all about!

William quickly gave a brief account of what had happened outside.

Old Man Newt was also dumbfounded. He had only been here for a few days, and had finally managed to hide from Dumbledore and Tina, enjoying a period of peace and quiet... and now Paris was about to be hit by a nuclear attack?

This is too... magical abstract art!

The two didn't take the elevator, but went straight up the stairs. William had already arranged to meet Hermione at the top of the stairs.

William had only reached the third floor when he heard Hermione's voice.

Hermione also changed back from the Polyjuice Potion state, and was completely soaked.

William was tall, and his clothes, when worn by the girl, reached almost to her knees, resembling a Scottish kilt.

Hermione cried out excitedly and leaped down from the harpy's head. William caught her and held the girl tightly in his arms.

When the harpy saw Newt, it whimpered excitedly and rushed down, leaping into Newt's arms.

The enormous body knocked the old man to the ground and pinned him beneath it.

The bird-snake turned its head in confusion, searching for Newt.

Hermione wrapped her arms around William's neck and said excitedly, "Did I do a good job?"

"Not bad." William wiped the water off her face.

He joked, "You didn't use my body to do anything that would damage my image, did you?"

Hermione smiled brightly, staring into those dark green eyes, blinked, and lied, "Absolutely not!"

William extended a finger and brushed aside a strand of Hermione's brown hair that was hanging down, obscuring her eyes and brows.

He waved his wand, and steam rose from the girl's body, evaporating the water from her clothes.

A faint cry for help came from beneath the bird-snake. Newt cried out, "Hurry, my...back...is broken!"

The two forgot that Newt was still there, and Hermione hurriedly got out of William's arms.

They dragged Newt out from under the bird-snake.

"Which way do we get?" Hermione asked. "There's a bunch of civets blocking the way up there."

"A civet cat?" William said softly. "That's a bit troublesome."

The civet is the guardian animal of the French Ministry of Magic; it will continuously split itself whenever it is attacked.

"Don't worry!" Old Man Newt rubbed his aching back, flicked his thick bangs, and said nonchalantly, "No one knows better than me how to escape from the French Ministry of Magic."

He opened his box, threw the bird snake inside, and then shouted, "Kha'Zix, come out now!"

A moment later, a deafening roar erupted.

A huge, half-ghostly horse charged out.

—The Horse-shaped Water Monster!

The horse-shaped lake monster is a type of water monster that can transform. Although they can take on various shapes, the most common form is that of a horse.

The three jumped onto the water monster and grabbed its mane, which was decorated with broad-leaved cattails.

William and Hermione simultaneously pointed their wands at the wall, blasting a huge hole in it.

Under Newt's control, the monster leaped up and flew upwards.

A pack of civets pounced, a dark, menacing mass of sharp claws and fangs.

The horse-shaped water monster roared loudly, stood up, its mane flashing, and launched a fierce attack on the civets that surged towards it like a tidal wave.

The horse-shaped water monster ran out of the room, pursued relentlessly by the spirit cats, leaving behind a group of wounded and defeated spirit cats.

It carved a path through the Ministry of Magic, and finally leaped through the glass roof and flew away.

The three civets that had chased after the others found themselves alone. They growled a few times and began to shrink.

They shrunk to the size of a house cat in the Muggle world, meowing pitifully.

William and Hermione exchanged a glance and quickly caught the three spirit cats.

Tsk tsk... I've got a watchdog!
