Chapter 336 The Collapsed Eiffel Tower

Chapter 336 The Collapsed Eiffel Tower

The moon is bright and the stars are few; the water monster flies south.

Urged on by Newt, the Kelpie went all out, increasing its speed and quickly leaving the Auror riding the flying broomstick behind.

William glanced back at the moon and was speechless.

What era is this? Are the Aurors of the Ministry of Magic still chasing enemies on flying broomsticks?

It's not that you can't ride it, but aside from the Firebolt that will be released this summer, you should at least ride the Nimbus 2000, right?

Your Nimbus 1001 is an antique from decades ago. Are you sure you're not joking?

This left William, who was looking forward to a thrilling aerial battle, slightly disappointed.

"Where are we going?" Newt asked. "Back to Nico's safe house, or straight out of Paris?"

William preferred to leave Paris directly.

No wizard has ever tested magic's ability to resist nuclear radiation. No one knows whether protective armor or spells like the Bubble Head Charm would be effective.

Since it's uncertain, it's highly likely to be useless. Then there's a risk of exposure to nuclear radiation.

After all, nobody knows when that crazy woman Arya will detonate a nuclear bomb.

This is a high-probability event. If you are sleeping and the other party suddenly does this, you won't even have a chance to manifest as an illusion.

Suddenly, the ethereal song of a phoenix echoed from William's safety watch.

He quickly took out a thick book, on which a phoenix was printed in the raised part.

William touched the lock, and it popped open. He turned to Nico's page.

Nico's face was revealed; the old man looked panicked, his previous composure gone.

"Oh, that's great, William." Nicole breathed a sigh of relief. "Luckily you had this book with you; we can contact you now."

"What's wrong?" William asked in surprise.

"Prophecy! I just saw the future with my crystal ball."

"What did you see?"

Nico was somewhat incredulous, and after a moment said, "I can't describe it well, you'll have to see for yourselves."

A crystal ball appears in the photo:

A fire dragon danced in the air, and not far from it, a building billowed thick smoke, its towering spire collapsing under the flames.

A red-haired woman stood proudly atop the fire dragon's head, her white robe fluttering in the wind.

A moment later, a magnificent mushroom cloud appeared above her head, like a dazzling firework, suddenly rising into the vast night sky.

Hermione covered her mouth, staring in shock at the mushroom cloud.

"It seems Arya has chosen Notre Dame Cathedral as her landing site!" William sighed, closing the book. "It'll happen tonight."

"Are you sure?" Newt asked seriously.

"Sure!"

"Then I'll go inform the Ministry of Magic immediately," Newt said with utmost seriousness. "And then I'll rush to Notre Dame Cathedral."

"Okay, Hermione and I will go there now and stop Arya!" William said.

"Don't let anything happen. If you realize something's wrong, immediately use Apparition to escape Paris." The old man grabbed William's hand and solemnly instructed him.

"You too." William nodded slightly.

Newt Appears out of sight and returns to the French Ministry of Magic, which he had just escaped from.

William, meanwhile, held onto the horse-shaped water monster's bridle around its neck, continuing to control its flight.

Hermione quickly found the map of Paris among a large number of maps, first pinpointing their location, and then swiftly locating Notre Dame Cathedral.

"Southwest!" Hermione shouted, pressing down her hair, which was being tousled by the strong wind.

"Turn around!" William pulled on the horse's bridle.

The horse-shaped water monster roared, then suddenly drifted in the sky and changed direction.

"Hermione..." William called out.

"I'm not leaving!" Hermione said stubbornly.

"...Then tie us both together with a rope!" William said quickly.

"If I sense anything amiss, I'll immediately take you away from Paris in Apparition."

Hermione nodded, took out a rope, pressed herself close to William, and then tied the two of them together.

"that……"

"What's wrong?" Hermione asked, hugging William's waist from behind.

"They're too tight. Leave some space so they don't look like conjoined twins and make it difficult to move around."

Hermione said "Oh," and reached back to untie the rope. She fumbled around the boy's waist for a moment, then suddenly apologized, "William, I think I've made a knot that's impossible to untie!"

William took a breath and said softly, "...Then take it slow, no rush. We have plenty of time tonight, enough for you to figure things out."

Hermione: "..."

……

……

On the banks of the Seine,

A girl in her early twenties, dressed in a white wizard's robe, stood alone by the river.

She had high cheekbones, blue eyes, maroon hair, and a slender, graceful figure.

People came and went on the shore, and many of them stared curiously at the pretty girl who was dressed in strange clothes.

She stared blankly at the Seine, and after what seemed like an eternity, her eyes finally came into focus.

She raised her left hand, her slender fingers holding a magic wand, and tapped it a few times. A shimmering light of fireflies bloomed in the darkness.

The Seine River was bubbling and making a sound like soybeans popping in a pot.

The river level suddenly rose, and an inverted bowl-shaped whirlpool appeared in the center of the river.

The river water around the edge of the large bowl suddenly overflowed the bank, stirring up the boats around it, while in the center of the bowl, the waterline rose sharply, as if a huge creature was about to emerge from the water.

The Seine, like a painting, was suddenly ripped apart by a soft, tearing sound, which then intensified until the painting shattered instantly.

A dazzling dragon's breath shot out from the vortex and exploded in the night sky.

A ten-meter-long Norwegian Spinosaurus bursts forth from the water, angrily revealing itself.

It soared in the sky once, then landed on the wide street, crouching low with its wings half-folded.

It violently twisted its spiky tail, leaving a cratered trail several meters long on the hard ground.

Those yellow eyes were fixed on Arya.

It roared, its booming sound surpassing even the summer thunder.

Arya calmly extended her hand.

The fire dragon obediently poked its head out and touched the girl's palm with its nose.

A deafening clamor erupted from the surrounding crowd. Everyone was stunned and bewildered, staring intently at the dragon.

Dragons have always been just a fairy tale; when have Muggles ever seen a real dragon?!

The fire dragon leaped up again, flying low, and crashed into the water's surface, then slid forward rapidly.

Suddenly, magnificent splashes of water bloomed on the Seine.

The fire dragon glided for dozens of meters before finally soaring into the sky, heading straight for the 300-meter-tall Eiffel Tower.

The fire dragon landed on the iron tower, its steel claws grabbing the steel bars on the tower, causing sparks to fly everywhere.

It first tore the steel bars, creating cracks, and then continued to pound them, eventually crushing the entire tower structure.

The fire dragon took flight once more.

In an instant, dust filled the Champ de Mars, and with a deafening roar, the Eiffel Tower, which had stood for over a hundred years, collapsed!

Arya stood atop the dragon's head, her robes billowing, her face expressionless.

"There should be a spectacular fireworks display in Paris tonight!"
