Witch Training Manual: My Water Magic Is Wrong
Chapter 61 The Guest Arrives, Treatment Begins
Lillian returned in the evening.
She pushed open the courtyard gate, turned around, and waved to those behind her.
"This is it, come in quickly."
Christina followed behind, wearing a dark long dress. The style was simple, but the material was of good quality, with fine silver patterns embroidered on the hem.
Dora walked beside her, with a mushroom haircut, round-framed glasses, and a thick notebook in her hand. Her eyes behind the lenses scanned every corner of the yard.
Lillian jogged a couple of steps to him, looked up at him, and said, "Mr. Wayne, I've brought them. This is Christina, the leader of the Order. This is Dora, my friend."
Wayne nodded to them.
The panel popped up.
Name: Christina
[Identity: Head of the Frosttown Witch Cult]
[Actual age: 32]
[Ability: Shapeshifting (Tier 3), can transform into any creature the user has slain, currently possessing seven forms.]
[Personal fetish: Appreciation of the female form; her room is filled with portraits of different women, all painted by her own hand.]
[Note: She rated your looks an 8 out of 10. She deducted two points: one because you're a man, and the other because you're from church. Even so, she admitted you're quite good-looking.]
[Note: She came today for two main reasons. First, to check on Wendy's condition in person, and second, to confirm whether there's anything wrong with your water magic. Tilulu's behavior after returning was too abnormal, so she had to come in person.]
Dora peeked out from behind Christina.
She pushed up her glasses and looked Wayne up and down.
Name: Dora
[Identity: Member of the Witch Cult]
[Actual age: 18]
[Ability: Natural Sensing (Early Stage 2), able to communicate with all things and sense the flow of magical elements within the human body.]
Current status: Curious.
[Note: She brought a blank notebook today, intending to jot down all the details she observed. The cover reads "Frosttown Church Observation Log, Volume One."]
[P.S.: She left 100 pages in her notebook, thinking that should be enough. She doesn't know how many more volumes she'll write later.]
Wayne smiled.
"welcome."
Christina looked at Wayne.
"I am Christina," she said, her voice neither too loud nor too soft. "Lillian has told me quite a bit about you."
"What did she say?"
"They said you're a good person," Christina said, turning her gaze back to her. "They said you're different from people in other churches."
"What do you think?" Wayne asked.
Christina didn't rush to answer.
"I'm watching." She smiled. "Still watching."
Lillian stood to the side, glancing back and forth between the two, and couldn't help but interject, "Big Sister, Mr. Wayne is really a good person, you can believe me."
Lillian looked around and asked:
"By the way, where are the others?"
Not long after she finished speaking, the side door was pushed open. Vera walked in carrying a tray with several glasses of water on it. Ella and Emma followed behind her, their little heads peeking out one after the other.
Emma was the first to notice the two extra people in the yard. Her gaze swept between Christina and Dora, and she whispered in Ella's ear, "Sister, we have guests."
Ella nodded, walking a little slower than usual, and followed Vera in, standing to the side with her hands at her sides.
The two little ones curiously looked the guests over. Emma's eyes were especially bright, moving from Christina's silver-patterned skirt to the notebook in Dora's hand, and then from the notebook to Wayne.
Wayne waved to them.
"come over."
The two little ones walked over and stood on his left and right sides.
Emma tilted her head back and asked softly:
"Master, who are they?"
"Guests," Wayne said in a flat tone.
Emma said "Oh," then looked at Christina, her gaze lingering on her face for a moment before turning back without asking any more questions.
Christina was also watching them. Her gaze lingered on the two little ones for a moment before moving to Wayne's face.
"These are the two little witches you've taken in."
"Yes."
"It's not common for people in the church to take in witches."
"The church is short-staffed," Wayne said.
"They can help."
Christina nodded and didn't ask any further questions. Her gaze lingered on the two little ones for a moment longer.
"Little girl," she began, her voice softer than before, "would you be interested in coming over here?"
Emma was stunned.
Ella was also stunned.
The two little ones turned to look at each other at the same time, then turned back at the same time. Emma reacted first, taking half a step back and grabbing the hem of Wayne's robe.
"I'm not going."
Ella didn't speak, but her movements were the same as her sister's.
Christina looked at the two little heads peeking out from behind Wayne and suddenly smiled.
"You reacted pretty quickly."
Wayne stepped aside and gestured for him to proceed.
"I heard that some of you are curious about Wendy's treatment process, so come and take a look together."
After he finished speaking, he turned around and led the people towards Wendy's room.
The door was pushed open, and a strong smell of medicine wafted out.
A large wooden barrel was placed in the center of the room.
This is the medicine he prepared that afternoon.
The power of a third-tier warrior that erupted during the transport surprised and impressed the three girls.
Wendy was standing by the bucket when she heard the noise and turned around.
The moment she saw Christina and Dora, her face flushed. It wasn't the shyness of meeting strangers, but the unease of being recognized.
Wien noticed this change.
Christina stood at the door with no change in expression, while Dora waved to Wendy.
"Wendy, it's been a long time."
Wendy's fingers clenched on the hem of her skirt.
"Dora?!"
Wayne looked at Wendy.
"You two know each other?"
Wendy nodded, her voice very soft.
"Dora treated me before..."
Dora adjusted her glasses and took over the conversation.
"When she first came to Frost Town, Old Hunter was begging for help everywhere. I happened to be in town on business, so I went up to take a look. Her body was filled with demonic elements, which were pressing on her meridians. I couldn't cure her, so I could only prescribe some pain-relieving medicine."
Wayne nodded in agreement.
"Then let's begin the final treatment," he said, glancing at Wendy. "Wendy, you can take off your clothes and soak in now."
Wendy blushed and asked in confusion.
"Now...now?"
Wayne said.
"right!"
Wendy's blush spread from her neck to the tips of her ears.
However, she obediently did as instructed, only her hand trembled slightly when she unbuttoned the first button. She was much more efficient when unbuttoning the second button.
She crossed her arms in front of her chest, and her undergarment came off.
If Wayne had to sing, the first line of lyrics that would come to mind would definitely be: Little white rabbit, white and white...
A moment later, the skirt also fell to the ground.
Wendy stepped into the wooden tub and soaked in the water.
