SSS-level catastrophe? That's my wife!

[Decisive and ruthless] [Single female lead] [Not overpowered]
A century ago, a black meteor shower streaked across the sky, rewriting the trajectory of human destiny.
Some human genes awaken, resulting in "Awakened Ones"—physical beings far superior to ordinary people, capable of sustainable evolution.
However, this also gave rise to the "Mutants," whom humans called "Calamities."
They not only devour humans, but also kill each other, becoming an inescapable shadow over the world.
A century later, the City of Sin becomes the final battleground.
Two SSS-level calamities unfold here: a battle of kings.
Humanity then mobilized half of its awakened members to join the siege.
After months of bloody fighting, the three sides ultimately perished together.
The two major SSS calamities and humanity's top awakened beings all perished, turning the entire city into a desolate ruin.
When the news spread, world leaders raised their glasses in celebration, believing the threat was finally gone.
The mutants lurking in the shadows, however, gleamed with murderous intent—with the two kings fallen and the world without a king, their era had arrived.
However, three days later, the city of sin was awash in corpses and blood.
Lin Mu crawled out of the ruins, his scarlet eyes reflecting the setting sun.
Am I... not dead?
