Harry Potter: I Am a Legend

Vol 2 Chapter 37: ,fate

When Hoffa returned to the school hall, all the students were asleep here. None of the students in the four schools returned to the common room. They got into sleeping bags and slept on the floor.

This scene was surprisingly similar to the scene when Sirius invaded the school, but the nature was worse than that.

On the ceiling, the dark nebula slowly rotates, and there are some green lines like eyes shining in it.

The only light source in the entire hall is the Hogwarts Orb in the center of the hall. It slowly rotates, and its energetic light seems to be squeezed by the darkness, dim and faint.

It did not play any protective role at all.

Countless Auror teachers patrolled around the tower and the hall, and even the wandering ghosts remained alert.

But no one knew where the terrible guy entered the school from, and Hoffa couldn't figure it out at all.

There is a guard post outside the school where trains can't get in. The entire forbidden forest is strictly guarded by the Aurors. Even the secret road inside the school is blocked by the school teacher. This year students are not allowed to go even Hogsmeade.

How did that guy get in?

Hoffa wandered through a group of patrolling Aurors with a ghost, and came to his two friends. He walked very lightly and didn't wake anyone up.

But Aglaia was not asleep at the moment, her blue eyes flickered in the dark, and seeing Hoffa coming, she immediately sat up from the ground and wanted to speak.

"Shhh."

Hoffa looked at the people who were asleep around him and motioned to her to be quieter.

"Did you ask about the result?"

In the darkness, Aglaia whispered with an exaggerated mouth.

Hoffa shook his head.

Aglaia was anxious: "How could this happen, who is it, how could he know where I hid things, if it weren't for Slytherin..."

"Shhh."

Hoffa shook his head and motioned to Aglaia not to speak.

When she calmed down, Hoffa asked in a low voice next to her ear.

"Is that the key too?"

"what are you saying?"

Aglaia rubbed her hair, her chest rising and falling violently, looking very excited.

"Your bracelet?"

"What the **** are you talking about? What key?"

Hoffa thought for a moment.

"It's nothing."

In the darkness, several Aurors passed by.

Hoffa pulled Aglaia and lay down.

The Auror walked slowly on patrol, his eyes swept across the row of sleeping bags on the ground. The slender body slowly disappeared into the darkness.

When the footsteps disappeared, Hoffa looked sideways at Aglaia's blue eyes, and she was also looking at herself in the dark.

"I'm a little scared, Hoffa."

She whispered.

If it was normal, Hoffa would have to mock her a bit, but now, he patted the back of her hand.

"It's ok."

Then let go and sat up, got up and went through the sleeping bags on the ground.

The ghost strolled and disappeared into the dark hall.

......

......

Hoffa knew the location of Osivia's office, and even if he didn't want to know, he was forced to know. Because his roommate had already been familiar with the teacher's daily whereabouts, they talked about their children and teachers for a while every night.

Her office is located on the basement floor, next to the Slytherin common room. Rumor has it that Dumbledore wanted to give her his sunny office on the third floor, but she refused. On the grounds of dissatisfaction.

Hoffa checked his watch. At this moment, it was a little closer in the morning, and he wasn't sure if Osivia would be in the office.

He stood outside the door hesitating for a moment, but still knocked on the door.

"Go in."

Almost the moment he knocked on the door, there was a faint female voice inside.

The door handle in the office opened automatically with a creak, and Hoffa saw a spiral staircase leading directly to the ground, with the sound of water inside.

Hoffa walked slowly down, this is the longest escalator he has walked, or down.

After walking the more than ten-meter-long revolving stairs, the gurgling water became louder in the darkness.

Her office was different from Slughorn's, it was a standard Slytherin office.

The office is dark and dull. The furnishings inside are simple.

There is an all-glass wall in the office. Outside the glass wall is the bottomless and black water of the Black Lake. In the lake water, the faintly penetrating moonlight is the only light source for this underground office. In the lake water, some looming black shadows swim in it.

After his eyes became acquainted with the darkness, he could see a huge snake-head statue on the wall.

A stream of water gushes from the mouth of the statue, and then drips into the pool.

Sitting on the snake's head, Osivia Panxi seemed to have merged with the black in the background. If her eyes were not for the faint green light, Hoffa could hardly recognize the traces of her existence.

This water snake den made Hoffa instinctively uncomfortable.

"I heard about your common room."

Osivia said softly, "It's terrifying to hear."

Her voice seemed a little fuzzy in the sound of the water fountain.

Hoffa didn't speak, just looked up at her.

Osivia: "You came to me, it means you think about it?"

Hoffa walked a few steps sideways: "I can be your assistant, not just watching, I have to find that person."

"This is not my intention to find you." Osivia said flatly.

"This is my goal." Hoffa said, "not only that, but I have one more condition."

"what?"

"I want to know everything, I need you to tell me everything about the half-man king and why he appeared in the Ravenclaw Tower."

"Sorry, I can't answer your question. I don't know the so-called half-man king, let alone his identity."

"Didn't you fight against each other?"

"Yes, but I failed that time. In that match, I didn't get any information. But I'm sure, he is not a wizard."

"Then what can you tell me?"

Osivia slipped silently off the snake sculpture, walked to Hoffa's side, and looked at his pale golden eyes with her face close to her face.

"I can take you to the Forbidden Art Library. No matter what that guy wants to do, the goal is the Forbidden Art Library. As long as you find the library and place a net there, no matter how strong the opponent is, there won’t be hundreds or thousands. Auror’s opponent."

Hoffa was silent for a moment.

"What about after killing him? What would you do, get the knowledge from the library?"

"I don't care." Osivia shook her head.

Hoffa: "Those ambitious people in the UK, do you care? What do they do with endless bans? Do you care?"

Osivia shook her head: "I don't care. The world is messy and crazy. With or without a library, those ambitious people will not disappear."

"That's true."

Hoffa sighed and held out his hand.

"I hope this time our goals can be the same."

Osivia's cold hand grasped Hoffa's palm, and when she let go, Hoffa felt a hard object in her palm.

He looked down and saw that it was a silver sign, snake-shaped, engraved with a row of small characters, and was an assistant teacher in the transformation class.

"Tomorrow after school at six o'clock in the afternoon, I will wait for you at the gate of the library," Osivia said.

"Which library?"

"The Hogwarts Library."
