How to raise a father who is overly controlling of his daughter

"Study hard tomorrow, understand?!" Izuki was furious at Rena's lazy attitude. Since guests were coming today, she decided to let her off the hook.

"Okay," Rena said with a giggle.

Izuki felt a headache.

"Ding ding ding..." The doorbell rang.

"It can't be this fast, can it?" Yi Yue was a little surprised. Had they arrived at the door so quickly?

Yi Yue went to the entrance hall to check the surveillance footage. The small black-and-white monitor showed a mother and daughter standing outside the villa; they were Yi Yue's cousin and her daughter.

Yi Yue poured a glass of water for her cousin Xia Hong.

"My name is Lili, Lin Lili, Lin as in forest and Li as in grain. Brother, you can just call me Lili," Lili said playfully, like the bright moon reflected on the lake at night.

"Lili?" Yiyue continued, "How old is she this year? What grade is she in?"

“She’s six years old this year and is in first grade at Chenguang School,” Xia Hong said on behalf of Lili.

"First grade, huh? You have to study hard from now on, okay?" Yi Yue said to Li Li with a smile.

Lili stuck out her tongue and said, "I know, brother. I get very good grades. My teachers all praise me for being smart. I got a hundred on the final exam!"

Each grain was beaming with pride.

Xia Hong was a little embarrassed and gave an awkward smile.

"Then keep up the good work!" Yi Yue said to Li Li.

"Is this your daughter?" Xia Hong steered the conversation toward Reina, noticing Reina sitting quietly to the side.

"This is my second daughter, Rena. Hurry up and greet her as your cousin."

"Hello, Auntie!" Reina said obediently.

"Okay." Xia Hong smiled, her eyes slightly narrowed. "Your second daughter is also very well-behaved. She sits quietly to the side, looking very quiet and sensible."

When Rena heard Kaguya praising her, she gave Izuki a smug smile, her little tail practically wagging in the air.

Izuki glanced at her irritably, then smiled along with Kaguya, not bothering to embarrass Reina.

"Then I'll be going now." Xia Hong nodded and walked out of the entrance hall, and Yi Yue went to see her off.

After seeing Xia Hong off, they found Reina chatting with Lili.

"You should call me older sister, you know that!" Rena said arrogantly.

"No way! Why should I?" Lili pouted.

Rena said unhappily, "Because I'm older than you, you have to call me 'older sister'!"

Lili rolled her eyes and snorted, "I call your dad 'brother,' you should call me 'aunt.'"

"Dream on! You call Daddy 'brother' only because Daddy has a good temper and can't be bothered to argue with you," Rena said unhappily.

"Rua!" Lili stuck her tongue out at Reina.

"Rua!" Rena also stuck her tongue out at Lili.

Yi Yue shook her head with amusement and walked over to the two of them.

The precocious little girl immediately grabbed Izumi's arm and looked at Reina, asking, "Brother, brother, am I your sister?!"

Reina, like a cat whose tail had been stepped on, bristled and bared her fangs.

"Alright." Yi Yue patted Lili's little head. "Jokes are jokes, but you have to be polite."

"Did you hear that!" Reina, taking advantage of Lili's power, smugly said.

Rena muttered something to herself and lowered her head.

“You have to call her Rena-neechan, okay?” Izuki said to Lili.

Lili hesitated for a moment, then said to Reina, "Sister."

"Mmm." Rena smiled so much her eyes narrowed into slits. "Hello, little sister."

Lili puffed out her cheeks, feeling like Reina had taken advantage of her.

Reina smugly hummed as she watched Lili's discomfitured expression.

Izuki chatted and joked with Rena Lili, and before they knew it, a long time had passed.

Yi Yue glanced at the clock; it was already eleven o'clock, and she had to go pick up Yi Xue.

"You play with Lili, don't bully your little sister! I'm going to pick up Yixue, I'll be right back," Yiyue reminded her.

Rena said, "How could I possibly bully Riri?"

"Don't worry, brother," Lili said with a smile.

The two have become inseparable, their relationship is so good that they seem like real sisters.

"Okay." Yi Yue felt relieved and went out to pick up Yi Xue.
