Chapter 98 Loki and Captain America

The next night.

Li Buying was resting and recuperating at home, preparing for battle, when Ai Yi's voice made him open his eyes:

"Master, Loki has arrived at the venue."

Meanwhile, at a party, a handsome man in a suit appeared in the venue as green smoke and light flashed by.

He ignored the ant-like gazes and scanned the environment inside the venue. Then, he raised his eyebrows and revealed a cunning smile as he stared at the person he was looking for.

The old man, who was being watched, realized something was wrong and hurriedly tried to run away, but a tremendous force came from his shoulder and pressed him directly against the back of the bull-shaped marble statue.

The handsome man lifted a high-tech scanning device and pressed it directly onto the old man's face; his eye data was immediately transmitted via the network.

On the other side, after receiving the data, Hawkeye, now under control, immediately opened the safe, successfully obtained the special element needed to stabilize the portal, and left with the item.

Upon learning of the situation, Loki, who was on the scene, released the old man who was slumped on the ground, seemingly lifeless, and looked at the crowd fleeing away with a sense of superiority.

The energy beam still struck the shield, but its force was completely absorbed. Captain America picked up the shield again and slammed it at Loki. The god of mischief in front of him was hit and turned into smoke, while his real body appeared behind Captain America.

The shield slammed into the ground. Captain America picked up the shield and stood up again, watching Loki warily not far behind him. Loki became somewhat impatient, raised his scepter and walked around Captain America, then suddenly raised the scepter and struck the ground.

He vanished without a trace once more in a puff of green smoke. Captain America immediately sensed the danger behind him and threw his shield without hesitation.

The shield and scepter clashed, and Loki deflected the spinning shield with his scepter, but then teleported back behind Captain America and punched him directly!

A normal creature would be pierced through by his punch, instead of remaining almost unscathed like this clown in front of him.

As Captain America spoke, he slightly rubbed his numb hand behind his shield, and Loki's effortless demeanor made his heart sink.

Once Loki realized that the guy in front of him was merely physically superior to mortals and also had a decent shield, he immediately lost interest in him, raised his scepter and pointed it at the guy, causing spatial fluctuations to envelop him.

Using magic to turn the surroundings into his own domain, Loki instantly reappeared behind Captain America and raised his dagger with his left hand to stab forward.

Sensing danger, Captain America turned and swung at Loki, but the moment the shield struck, Loki vanished again, circled behind him, and swung his dagger with undiminished force, about to strike Captain America's heart.
