Chapter 42 Hulao Pass

This was a little earlier than the time when Li Buying emerged from the sewer.

Inside a secluded and luxurious room, two handsome men were idly playing cards, their clothes hanging in the room.

A set of gleaming silver samurai armor, and a black bodysuit with a cape that resembled a swallow's tail, while a wisp of golden mane adorned the hood.

They were the mercenaries, the Silver Warrior and the Shrike, sent by Hydra to capture Li Buying.

However, after two full days, Hydra had completely lost track of the target's location, leaving the two men stranded there.

To their good fortune, this employer was excellent, offering both delicious food and beautiful women.

After taking a sip of his drink, the assassin Shrike handed a US dollar to the silver warrior, who took it and placed it on the table. The two, somewhat bored, were preparing for the next round.

Their relationship wasn't particularly close; it was more like that of colleagues, about to work together to arrest someone, so they had to at least cultivate a good relationship.

Silver Knight and Shrike were relieved to hear this, as long as it wasn't a direct conflict with the Brotherhood.

The assassin, Shrike, who had been sniping at Li Buying, put down his sniper rifle and pulled out something from his cover that made Li Buying's spider senses throb violently.

Seeing the rocket launcher, Li Buying swung away into the distance. Just as his legs left the wall, the silver warrior swiftly threw out his shuriken, which spun rapidly in the air and cut the spider silk.

Sensing danger, Li Buying kept shooting threads at the wall. His rapidly spinning shuriken cut through the threads, leaving him only able to land on the wall.

It was at this moment that the assassin Shrike, in coordination with the Silver Warrior, launched a rocket towards Li Buying's location.

Just as the rocket was about to hit him, he pulled hard on his arm and swung towards another building to the astonishment of the two men.

Li Buying had been prepared when she was shooting out threads. One of the threads quickly mimicked and blended into the surrounding environment, so it was not cut off.

The airflow and various fragments from the explosion slammed into Li Buying from behind, and the little rascal continued to scream. This was the first time in her life that she had experienced something so thrilling.

Li Buying turned around and reminded him, but his spider-sense kicked in again. He watched the rocket launcher being raised again and his eyes twitched. He then jumped to the side and onto another building.

"Too agile, this won't do, let's switch to close combat."

Upon hearing the assassin Shrike's suggestion, the Silver Warrior turned and ran downstairs, while Shrike jumped directly from the air and flew towards Li Buying in astonishment!

Upon seeing the flying enemy, Li Buying immediately sprayed out a large amount of spider silk from her hands. The assassin, Shrike, immediately dodged and avoided the spider webs as it spread out, raising his crescent-shaped hands in the air.

The spider senses began to vibrate, and Li Buying immediately darted away a distance, unleashing energy shockwaves from her hands that shattered the glass inside the building.

"Who are you?"

Li Buying dodged the energy waves of the assassin Shrike. Being at a disadvantage, he tried to use delaying tactics to find a place to climb to the rooftop.

The villain who can fly is trying to force her to the ground, and it seems he and his accomplices are going to deal with her. Li Buying can't let him succeed so easily.

"Just mercenaries."

Upon hearing the assassin Shrike's reply, Li Buying's eyes twitched, and he gritted his teeth as he looked around. Just then, a chilling sensation from behind made him decisively fall vertically!

Looking back, the suddenly appearing red devil snatched away at Little Rascal, grinned coldly as it stared at Li Buying and Little Rascal, and then turned into red mist and disappeared.

As Li Buying plummeted vertically, he clung to a wall, trying to climb up. Shrike blocked his path with two cannon shots and shouted:

"Brotherhood's Red Friend! Our target is this guy with the spider mask. Kick him to the ground, and take the girl behind him!"

The Red Devil heard the words of the assassin Shrike and reappeared behind Li Buying, pointing his finger at Little Rascal.

Li Buying was forced to fall again. The high-speed spider silk he released was dodged by the Red Devil, and another energy cannon blasted at the spot where Li Buying landed, forcing him to fall.

Li Buying, who was being relentlessly pursued, landed on the ground, her spider senses beeping wildly.

He immediately leaped up to dodge the katana that gleamed slightly. The katana swept across his leg and struck a nearby metal trash can, splitting it in two. The silver samurai, who had been waiting there, gave Li Buying a disdainful smile.

Li Buying swiftly shot out spider silk, the fine and sharp threads flying towards the silver warrior. Looking at the spider silk, the silver warrior took a deep breath and struck the spider silk with the blade of his sword at a speed far exceeding the limits of an ordinary person.

Concentrating intently, Li Buying noticed that the spider silk that had been photographed had simply vanished.

Mimicry requires a color change time, about one second, so the spider silk that is shot out needs to remain still or move slowly to maintain "invisibility." Even if mimicry is used, it is not very useful against such high-speed shooting.
