Chapter 4 Going Home

At 11:33 p.m., the mercenary leader, who had gone out, finally returned to the silent sewers.

"It seems the underworld emperor is still following the rules and isn't planning anything against us, which is good news."

The mercenary who had smothered Li Buying unconscious hummed a song and muttered to himself in the sewers. He went straight to the door, ready to tell his two subordinates the good news, then take them to deliver the goods.
