Chapter 23 Chaotic Fists

The heavy noise grew closer and closer. After a brief pause, the mountain monster did not enter the women's restroom as it did in the original story. Instead, it followed the sound of the window and entered the men's restroom.

As soon as it entered, Li Buying, who was hiding in the cubicle, heard the sound of the toilet door being locked from the outside.

The time has come.

Pushing open the small door of the cubicle, Li Buying saw the giant scratching its head, wondering why the door had closed by itself. Then she heard the door slam shut behind her.

The mountain monster turned around impatiently. Li Buying's leg muscles tensed, her brain was thinking at high speed, and time around her seemed to suddenly stop, and everything began to slow down.

After scanning the giant's body, Li Buying finally focused on its head.

To avoid being discovered by others as much as possible, he needed to kill the giant quickly. The best way at the moment was to beat it to death with a flurry of punches. The hidden blade was suitable for covert assassination, but not for targeting such a large creature. Who knew how much damage it would cause if the blade was stuck in its head.

Having considered her attack method, Li Buying's thought process slowed down. Time flowed around her again, and her taut muscles exploded. Her legs kicked towards the giant monster in an instant, causing the stones on the ground to crack under the weight.

The ground patterns cracked little by little, and Li Buying had already flown to the giant monster. At this moment, it had not yet turned around completely, and its temples were exposed in Li Buying's field of vision.

The boy leaned back slightly in mid-air, clenched his fists, and exerted force in his arm muscles, causing his bones to crack inexplicably. Extremely violent power surged through his body, and he finally reached effective attack range.

dead!

boom--!

A punch landed instantly on the giant's temple, the sound of bones cracking rang out, and a dent appeared in the giant's head. Just as the monster was about to scream in pain, it was met with a barrage of attacks!

Another punch landed on the giant's head. The shock, dizziness, and nausea caused it to involuntarily drop the wooden stick it had been raising and fall backward.

At this moment, Li Buying stood on the monster's shoulders, her face contorted with rage from the exertion of her fists, showing no sign of stopping and continuing to bombard it!

One second... two seconds... three seconds...

One punch... two punches... five punches...

====

The troll is dead.

Four seconds later, a notification appeared in the taskbar, indicating that the giant was completely dead.

Li Buying lost count of how many punches he had thrown. When he raised his hand, the giant's head was smashed into a bloody mess, with half of it dented in.

Having confirmed the troll's death, he immediately got up, went to the sink to wash the blood off his hands, changed back into his wizard's robes, and jumped out the window.

On the first floor, Li Buying, who had jumped outside, immediately crouched down and ran towards the Great Hall. Ignoring the exclamations behind her, she quietly slipped through the window crack into the Great Hall and hid at the very back of the Ravenclaw group, following the main force as they moved toward the dormitory.

His body went limp, and he kept panting.

……

"Oh my God!"

Hearing the loud noise coming from the men's restroom, Harry Potter and Ron thought it was a troll smashing things. Just then, Hermione peeked out from the women's restroom, and upon seeing the two of them, she almost burst into tears.

After the trio gathered, the men's restroom suddenly fell silent. Just as they were wondering what was happening, an even more terrifying sound came from afar: Professor McGonagall shouted angrily:

"Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger, how dare you stay here!"

The four heads of the house, Quirrell, and Dumbledore had all arrived. Their expressions varied, but upon approaching, they all paused slightly, their expressions turning very serious.

Besides the stench of the trolls, they also smelled the stench of blood hidden within them.

Dumbledore raised his wand and pointed it at the bathroom door: "Alohoy open."

The outer door unlocked automatically, and the door was pushed open. The sight before them made the teachers' eyes widen: the giant monster was lying on the ground, and it was clearly dead.

It's a good thing that the troll is dead and no one was hurt, but who did it?

Even the wise Dumbledore sensed the doubt. The teachers looked at the three people present, and the trio trembled for a moment, surrounded by the teachers and unaware of the situation in the toilet.

……

It looks like they can't track me down.

Li Buying closed the magic book in her hand, thinking to herself.

It had been quite some time since he killed the troll. In the first few days, there were rumors that Harry, Harry, and Meghan had killed the troll, and they seemed to have been praised for their jubilant expressions.

Dumbledore hasn't come looking for Li Buying in the past few months. Either he didn't notice, or he noticed but wasn't planning to take action and was just monitoring him. In any case, Li Buying's spider sense didn't activate, which means he's currently safe.

The task of helping Ravenclaw secure second place is progressing smoothly. In Quidditch matches against Hufflepuff and Slytherin, he has already helped Ravenclaw defeat the two houses by huge margins of 200 to 50 and 170 to 70, respectively.

A week ago, Slytherin and Gryffindor also had a match, and Harry Potter defeated them. Judging from the timing, the trio and Malfoy were arrested this Saturday night because of the dragon incident.

He had also verified the existence of firearms at the Room of Requirement; at least in this world, firearms were usable, and he had also found many magic books there.

Therefore, he cleared out the storage space to put these books. As for the Ravenclaw tiara, Li Buying didn't touch it. If it were like the Lich's phylactery, where one of them, if not broken, would prevent Voldemort from dying, that would be terrible.

"Oh, Maggie, aren't you asleep yet?"

Terry Boot yawned, and Li Buying snapped out of his reverie, putting the book back on the shelf. He smiled and said, "I'll go to the kitchen to get something to eat. What do you want?"

"Then let's have a pumpkin pie."

Terry braced himself and said that he knew Li Buying often went out, and over the past few months he had gotten used to having his roommate bring things back, so he did not choose to stop him.

And so, having laid the groundwork for this for so long, he got up and walked out of the room. Instead of running to the kitchen immediately, he slowed down and went to the kitchen to ask the house-elves for a lot of food and started eating. Then he packed up a pumpkin and went back to his dormitory.

Faint sounds drifted through the silent academy: ghosts talking to portraits, wooden planks shifting. Soon, Li Buying heard Filch approaching from afar, a cold laugh playing on his lips.

"I'm so lucky to have caught you guys who like to go out at night..."

"Hey, wait a minute! You guys in front, stop right there! Don't even think about running away!"

The sound grew louder as it approached, and the light from the lantern shone directly on Li Buying, who was pretending to run away. He obediently raised his hands, and Filch's face showed even more excitement—

Merlin above, today is truly a wonderful day.
