Chapter 110 Dealing with Remaining Combatants

Before the combat personnel on the spaceship could even assemble, Li Buying had already seized control of the main control room.

They only received a call to gather their leaders from Kate, and then they lost contact with him. Just as everyone was wondering what was going on, the killing began, and it wasn't just Li Buying who was doing it.

"Where exactly is that slave the boss mentioned?"

At this moment, all the soldiers were fully armed and carefully moved forward in the spaceship tunnel, looking in all directions in groups of three.

Hanging upside down from the ceiling, Li Buying, mimicking invisibility, had her hands spread out with her fingers, each finger connected to a silk thread.

As the three approached him, he subtly tugged at his finger to activate the trap.

The barely perceptible spider silk made a slight snapping sound, and with a flash of silver light, the silk swept across the three people's bodies like a sharp blade.

Before they could even react, all three heads were severed.

Clinging to the ceiling, Li Buying continued forward, listening to Ai Yi's report:

"Master, after you turn left, go straight to the third intersection, including your current one. There is a group of warriors who can turn invisible there. I suggest you wait a moment at the second intersection and set a trap."

Li Buying did not reply. Following Ai Yi's instructions, he went to the intersection to weave a trap. Before he could finish weaving the trap, his spider senses alerted him to impending danger.

He initially tried to dodge by turning to the side, but the danger remained ever-present. After locking onto the invisible target that posed a threat to him, Li Buying decisively unleashed a terrifying killing intent from her body.

intimidate!

For a moment, all the invisible beings stood still, unable to move. Li Buying raised her hand and scattered spider silk, and specks of blood appeared out of thin air in the passage.

As he teleported away from his original spot, the location where he had been standing was swept by bullets that appeared out of nowhere. However, the attack quickly stopped, and after the sound of someone falling to the ground was heard, Li Buying was about to turn and leave when Ai Yi reminded him again:

"Master, they have electromagnetic grenades, which can effectively penetrate the special protective force field on the combat suits of some of them. Also, the force field is divided into active and passive types."

Upon learning of this, Li Buying returned to the bloodstains, knelt down, and peeled off the clothes of those who were still invisible, disabling their invisibility as instructed by Ai Yi.

"Speaking of which, why not equip everyone with a shield? Wouldn't it be better to combine invisibility with shields and all sorts of superweapons?"

While searching, Li Buying inquired about the matter, and Ai Yi dutifully responded:

"Because there isn't enough money, the full set of skills equipment you mentioned does exist, but that's for pilots. Only Kate is qualified to use that equipment on the entire ship; everyone else only carries some of the skills."

The "Iron Pilots" that Ai Yi mentioned refer to are special units in Titanfall. Simply put, they can be compared to elite soldiers. Each one is a top-notch infantryman who is well-trained, fully trained, and fully equipped. Generally speaking, only they can pilot Titans.

He nodded slightly, picked up the electromagnetic grenade and a secondary pistol, then jumped back onto the wall and followed Ai Yi's instructions to sneak over.

……

"Damn it, what's going on? Why isn't the communication equipment working?!"

A mercenary slammed the communicator down, angrily threw it aside, and looked around.

His three-man team rushed to the main control room after receiving the message, but an accident happened halfway there.

The three people were walking carefully on the road when suddenly something fell straight down from the ceiling, carrying a fishy smell, and rushed towards them.

Fortunately, someone reacted quickly enough, extended their scalpel, and chopped off the monster's head in one swift motion.

However, after it was cut down, a large amount of acid sprayed from the creature's neck, splashing the team members' helmets. He managed to remove the helmet in time before the acid corroded it and landed on their heads.

What is this thing? Wasn't the guy who ran away supposed to be a demi-human?!

The squad leader told his members to stay alert while he immediately tried to contact the other teams via comms. Strangely, no one responded to the communication, as if it had been cut off.

Could it really have been cut off?

Thinking of this possibility, the mercenary frowned slightly and raised his hand to signal the members to be more careful. The members without helmets were protected by two people in the middle, and the three of them continued to rush towards the control room.

But after taking only a few steps, something that resembled both an arthropod and a mollusk suddenly jumped out of the darkness and tried to grab the face of the person who wasn't wearing a helmet.

He saw this scene in time, and while cursing angrily, he raised his palm and spread his five fingers wide. An energy shield appeared between him and the monster, causing the monster to slam directly into the shield and be firmly bound by the force field.

The captain took care of the thing with one shot. Before the three of them could say a few words, the soldier who wasn't wearing a helmet saw a figure appear behind the two of them.

Before he could speak, Li Buying raised his hand and slapped the helmets of the two unsuspecting men, causing their brains to explode from the inside. They immediately collapsed, unable to even activate their shields.

Before the soldier could even grieve, he raised his hand to release an energy shield. Li Buying carefully observed the force field fluctuations of the shield, then raised his hand and used gravity to penetrate the weak point, blowing the head off.

"It really is an alien."

Ignoring the dead, he crouched down to examine the facehuggers and the aliens not far away, figuring that Kate had wanted him to find these aliens.

I have no idea where these aliens from, these cosmic raiders, came from.

"In this space age, can alien swarms really fight against fully armed soldiers?"

"Master, these creatures that can grow according to the host's genes must be assassination specialists, right?"

Ai Yi immediately recognized the true nature of the aliens. The cameras captured their movements, and due to the lack of corpses, it seemed that there was only one mature alien, while the rest were either eggs or facehuggers.

"Without any special genes similar to mutants, they would indeed find it difficult to confront groups of soldiers head-on on large battlefields, and are more suited to breeding in cities or shadowy areas."

Discarding the alien fragment in his hand, Li Buying slightly raised his hand, and a force field fluctuation rapidly spread out. The magic power in his body slowly consumed and formed a hemispherical shield around him.

Comparing this force field shield with the force field shield driven by the Cosmic Cube, the former consumes less energy but is relatively easy to break, while the latter consumes an extremely large amount of energy but is very sturdy.

With the shield removed, Li Buying continued to move around the spaceship dealing with the mercenaries, casually crushing all the alien eggs and facehuggers along the way, eliminating all potential threats on the spaceship.

Without using the gravity shield, it took him about one or two hours to deal with these people and to see firsthand how to use and how strong the equipment on these mercenaries was, so that he could better control the battle that followed.
