Chapter 101 Winning Over Our Own Members

Tony and Captain America were very dissatisfied with S.H.I.E.L.D.'s behavior, and Thor was even more so. Just as the three were about to reason with Nick Fury, Li Buying patted Thor on the shoulder and showed him the text on her phone.

Loki scoffed and shook his finger upon hearing this, which Nick Fury dismissed as utter nonsense. Loki, however, narrowed his eyes and continued in a mocking tone:

"Speaking of which, why has your so-called S.H.I.E.L.D. been secretly researching the Tesseract? Is it so that all mortals can enjoy the endless energy it provides, or is there some other purpose—"

Nick Fury gave Loki a cold look, then frowned slightly as he glanced at Li Buying sitting there, unsure whether he or the so-called "prophet" had foreseen the current situation.
