Chapter 59 Conjugate Father and Son
Chapter 59 Conjugate Father and Son
Is this a conjugate father-son relationship similar to that between the Great Britain and the United States?
Ang's single sentence elevated the topic to an unprecedented level.
Without exaggeration or bias, based on his 40 points of perception, he was absolutely certain that his domineering father's fists were hard.
Almost as soon as he spoke, he received a system notification:
[Congratulations, host, on completing the first stage of the "Rebellion Against the Magnificent King" mission. Your soul integrity is now 100%, and you have officially and completely integrated into this world. A new special attribute (Soul Strength) has been added. Your current Soul Strength is 18.]
[If the host can perform a second phase of 'revenge' against Bruce Wayne, there will be an opportunity to further enhance their soul strength.]
Ang felt a little embarrassed.
His actions were indeed correct.
The original owner had a love-hate relationship with this father.
Actually, this guy is also pitiful. For example, Huntress's father is another part of Bruce Wayne's history. The grandfather really taught his children with his heart, at least he taught Huntress martial arts.
After some consideration, Ang realized that there were quite a few opportunities to make Mr. Bat suffer another defeat.
The master was a very cultured man. Even though he secretly regretted not having ejaculated on the wall, he still maintained his composure on the surface.
"Your proposals are getting worse and worse," he muttered.
"What an honor! I thought you were saying I had committed a crime and that you were going to call the police to arrest me."
"..." Watching the bank clerk bow and scrape as he unloaded the sports car, Bruce waved the car keys in his hand, deliberately changing the subject, his words vague: "Anyway, thank you for this, Mr. Ang."
He didn't mention any of the terms "sugar daddy" or "big spender".
Of course, that's Batman.
Personal gains and losses are always secondary. Even in the face of such adversity, his sense of justice is so strong that his first priority is to continue investigating Bane.
The father and son can decide who wins and who loses, but not who lives and who dies.
Seeing Bruce retreat in a humiliated manner, Detective John Black couldn't hold back any longer. He stepped forward and said, "Hey! Mr. Ang, Mr. Wayne is a good man. You didn't need to humiliate him like that."
Ang paused for a moment, looking at this policeman who was useless in the original history but was still a beacon of justice. He leaned closer and covered his mouth as well: "I am Bruce's illegitimate son."
John's expression was priceless: "Uh, okay, I was just being nosy."
If Ang had dared to do this before, he would most likely have been killed on the spot by the master.
Times have changed. Making this matter semi-public will make it easier for him to take over Wayne Enterprises.
Without his "money power," Batman's strength would at most be greatly reduced. Without Bruce, Wayne Enterprises would become an empty shell, tainted by greed, utterly meaningless in a zombie-infested universe.
Ang doesn't intend to force his illegitimate father to his death. He'll just return some of his financial power to Batman when the time is right, and that'll be enough.
Next, we just have to wait for things to develop.
Just as Ang was displaying the mercy of a victor at the main entrance of the building, Dagate, the group's second-largest shareholder, was raging in his office.
You should know that it was he who brought Bane to deal with Bruce Wayne in order to seize the Wayne Enterprises.
"What the hell is this? Bane! You robbed the stock exchange, and I still can't get my hands on Wayne Enterprises!?"
Bain's towering figure, standing at 2.2 meters tall, loomed over Dagate, and Dagate's voice suddenly dropped when his large, bear-like hand rested on Dagate's shoulder.
I'm sorry, I was speaking too loudly just now.
"Dagate, I took away Bruce Wayne's controlling stake, and then you didn't have enough money and lost to Ang when the bank auctioned off the stock. What's there to say?"
"You...you can take care of Ang for me too."
"No need. Your construction team dug out the entire city for me, and then my plan was completed."
"Wait! I gave you a lot of money." Dagate looked at Bain with fear in his eyes.
"Just because you gave me money, does that mean I have to listen to you?"
Before Dagate could answer, Bain made a neck-twisting motion with his bear paw.
On the other hand, Bruce Wayne did something foolish, just as someone had predicted.
This is probably what they mean by "Beautiful women may mistreat me a thousand times, but I will still love each and every one of them as if it were my first love."
Down on his luck and bankrupt, Bruce was powerless against Miranda, who had always supported his clean energy business, and he slept with her in no time.
Of course, this time is better than in history; at least Alfred and his butlers and servants are still here.
The old butler was delighted to see Bruce regain his youth and thought that if he could have a son or daughter, it wouldn't be unacceptable for Wayne to have multiple potential heirs.
At that moment, Catwoman received a phone call, and an unfamiliar male voice came from the other end.
"You know what happens when you try to play tricks."
After saying that, the phone call ended.
Selena Kyle's face lost all color.
On the other end of the phone, the Lance sisters looked at the mysterious Ang.
"How is it? Do I look like Batman?"
Sarah asked cautiously, "Won't this give Catwoman the wrong idea?"
"No way!?"
Ang clearly remembered that Catwoman betrayed Batman around the time of "The Dark Knight Rises," which led to Batman's tragic death.
With so many unexpected troubles going on, he dared not let his master be captured.
Whether he becomes the Batman Who Laughs in another timeline, or becomes Batman like in the Zombie Universe, the loss of Batman, the core of the Justice League, is something Ang cannot accept.
Catwoman longs for a computer program that can erase all her past criminal records, allowing her to break free from the shackles of the underworld and start a new life. This is what makes her vulnerable to manipulation by Dagate and even Bane.
When Batman asked her for help to betray Bane, he used the same bait.
Ang thought the bait wasn't good enough, so he took it upon himself to add his own drama.
Now it seems a bit risky!
After thinking about it, he still sent a group text message.
One night later, in one of the tunnels of Gotham City's subway network.
The catwoman, dressed in a black, tight-fitting leather outfit, sat with her legs apart in the middle of the corridor. Her excellent senses allowed her to detect the man's arrival.
"Just say it when you're here, don't be shy!" The catwoman's flirtatious voice was full of teasing.
This is her, a sexy, versatile, and captivating cat!
Batman stepped out from a shadow in the passageway.
This wasn't Catwoman's first encounter with Batman; she gracefully gestured with her hand and asked, "Where's what I asked for?"
Catwoman is referring to the computer program that erased her criminal record. Just today, Bruce Wayne, in his true form, stormed into Catwoman's house, implying that Batman would help her.
"It depends on the situation. I don't want it to fall into the hands of bad people."
"So that means you don't believe me."
Batman said in his deep, cold voice, "Take me to Bane."
"Hmph!" The catwoman turned around gracefully, walking with a standard cat gait, showing off her exquisite figure and slender curves to the wooden-like man behind her.
Along the way, the two of them casually took down several thugs who were on guard duty.
Before I knew it, I had arrived at a gate.
As soon as Batman led the way through the gate, Catwoman pulled the lever behind him.
The heavy gate slammed down, and through the iron bars, Catwoman's red lips seemed to have turned completely pale.
"If I don't do this, they'll kill me!"
As she spoke, all the lights opposite Batman came on, revealing a massive underground dome. The imposing Bane stood at the other end of the narrow passageway, while his armed henchmen stood in various corners of the dome. They stared at their leader with fanatical eyes, eager to witness a grand duel.
A trap!
Batman narrowed his eyes.
He was tricked by a woman again.
Now was not the time for him to regret it. Without hesitation, Batman launched a fierce attack on Bane.
With a flick of his wrist, he unleashed half a dozen bat-shaped darts. These sharp metal darts, resembling real bats, traced bizarre arcs in the air, striking Bane at unbelievable angles. One dart, which appeared to be a low, ground-hugging strike, suddenly rose just before reaching Bane, aiming directly for his throat.
Bain then made a move of agility that seemed completely out of place with his massive frame, taking three steps forward. Despite weighing over three hundred pounds, he made almost no sound.
His figure perfectly avoided the trajectories of all the batarangs.
Batman gritted his teeth and transformed into a streak of gray-black light, hurtling towards Bane. In that instant, his movements were both light and swift, like a swooping eagle.
Its momentum is like that of an eagle, but its harm is like that of a fly.
Batman realized something was wrong after just the first kick.
The Bane in front of him was not like a human being at all. His kick, which had a force of over 500 pounds, felt like kicking a thick stack of car tires.
This is not a contest of strength.
Despite Batman's best efforts in fighting, he was still unilaterally and brutally beaten.
In less than 10 minutes, what came into everyone's view was a Batman who had been beaten to the point of near death.
"Oh oh oh—"
"Bane! Bane! Bane—"
The bandits brandished their guns and shouted the name of their leader, their frenzied atmosphere seemingly able to penetrate the underground kingdom and reach Gotham City on the surface.
Catwoman made her exit without a sound. She had completed her mission, and naturally, none of Bane's men stopped her.
But as she arrived at an underground passage far from the area, a cold, murderous voice suddenly echoed from a dark corner: "I told you, 'You know the consequences of playing tricks.'"
Catwoman's face paled instantly: "Wait! You're not Bane's man, and you specifically warned me against betraying Gotham's dark world?"
"..."
