Because the temple's protective shield was pierced, the pressure difference between the inside and outside caused the temple remains to instantly shatter into countless fragments, like toilet paper being flushed down a toilet, swept into the void and becoming glittering cosmic debris.

This was only the first wave of the Apokolips fleet's offensive.

After the first round of main gun fire, the second round immediately followed, a relentless three-round burst.

Tens of thousands of neutron beams collided once again with the temple shield that had been painstakingly restored in the void, and at that moment the entire western side of the Pantheon was illuminated by the glow of the lines of law.
