Chapter 421 Project Starfish

"Da da da!"

A hail of bullets roared and whistled as they pierced through the bodies of one person after another, taking their lives.

Blood, like ink, was splattered throughout the corridor, creating terrifying yet beautiful scenes, like blooming flowers of art.

"Alright, we've finally reached the finish line."

Killer Croc spat out the bone from his mouth, cursing, and stared at the heavy metal door in front of him.

"Let me smash it open!"

The big guy roared and strode towards the sturdy door.

"Thump!"

The heavy crash interrupted everyone's thoughts, and even the sturdy doors and walls began to twist and shake under the impact.

"My head!"

Killer Croc cursed and retreated, realizing he had actually failed!

"This iron wall can probably withstand a tank's impact. Don't even think about ramming it open with your head. You're not Gino Luther."

Deadshot patted Killer Croc on the shoulder, gesturing for him to step aside: "Let's use a Batman-style approach to solve this."

As he said this, he pulled a time bomb from his backpack, turned on the timer, and pressed it against the wall: "Let's begin!"

As he spoke, he stepped back a distance and then pressed the button on the bomb on the wall.

"boom!"

The violent explosion nearly blew the entire corridor apart; the floor and roof were destroyed in the blast. Killer Croc, which was slightly closer, was blasted straight into the air and crashed heavily into the wall, losing consciousness.

"Wow, there are still a few fish that escaped the net?"

As the smoke cleared, Harley, laughing and twirling her baseball bat, charged like a whirlwind towards the heavily armed soldiers inside the laboratory.

The group was also dizzy from the explosion and collapsed to the ground. Before they could react, Harley brutally beat them to death with her baseball bat.

"So bloody."

After forgetting Harley's atrocities, Fireman looked away, his gaze falling on the experimental center not far away, just like Deathshooter's.

Inside the transparent glass is a giant starfish wriggling, its skin shimmering with a dreamlike light that is mesmerizing.

"What a rip-off! This is the first time I've ever seen aliens. It's like the Flash stabbing Batman with a knife. It's an eye-opener!" Deadshot shook his head, pressing his headset as he said, "Trevor, we've found what you were looking for. The mission can end!"

"Put it down, put it down again, be careful the tempered glass doesn't break!"

The giant starfish wriggled inside the tempered glass, trying to escape, but each impact only left a shallow mark on the glass.

"Are you prepared with the equipment to communicate with this thing?"

Standing before the iron railing on the second floor, Amanda looked at her researchers and asked, "Can you guarantee we can communicate with it?"

The scientists under her command handed Amanda a device that resembled a loudspeaker, with a green kryptonite embedded at the bottom.

The science team leader explained, "Based on our analysis of this revenue, it is entirely possible to communicate with extraterrestrial life."

"very good."

Amanda picked up the microphone and pressed the button, then her voice, amplified by the speaker, reached the starfish monster in the pool: "Can you hear me?"

The monster remained silent for a while, then it was seen waving its tentacles. A voice, neither male nor female, rang out from Amanda's loudspeaker: "You can hear me."

Seeing the alien creature's reaction, Amanda finally breathed a sigh of relief. As long as they could communicate, it was a good thing, which meant that her first plan had been a success.

"I am Amanda, and you can think of me as the power on this planet."

"Starro".

The starfish monster spoke, shaking its tentacles.

"So."

The large, dark-skinned woman slowly stepped forward, her eyes fixed intently on Staro, and said, "Let's make a deal. You help me."

"boom!"

Before she could finish speaking, a violent explosion suddenly rang out.

The tightly closed metal doors were blown off by the powerful explosion, and bullets whistled through the air as they flew towards the armed personnel inside the hall, slaughtering them all.

"Damn it!"

Amanda crouched down and quickly reached for the tablet computer next to her. She knew that her base had been invaded and that she had to send in the suicide squad to eliminate the Terminators!

"Whoosh!"

Before she could even reach out, a green arrow pierced through the tablet, the force of which caused it to explode into a shower of sparks.

"Damn it!"

Amanda instinctively dropped to the ground; she knew she'd met her match this time!

Where are the bad guys?

Green Arrow leaped lightly onto the cold floor like a medieval outlaw.

His gaze swept around, passing over the figures lying in pools of blood, and when he saw the starfish in the hall, Green Arrow immediately understood everything.

"You're lying to me!?"

He turned his head angrily. The information he had received from Trevor was that some terrible cultists were conducting a cruel and inhumane experimental sacrifice here, but he never expected that this place was actually a secret base of the Sky Eye Society.

Trevor quickly drew arrows from his quiver, bending down to nock an arrow, but dozens of stun guns that popped out of the smoke instantly knocked Green Arrow down.

"Crack!"

The pulsating blue arcs of electricity struck him, causing his vision to roll back and him to instantly lose consciousness.

A tall figure slowly emerged from the white smoke. Colonel Trevor's gaze fell on the unconscious Green Arrow, and he stepped on the man's face with his boot, sneering, "You're a good man, but in this world, good men are of no use."

"Treff!"

Lying on the floor, Amanda clenched her chubby fists, glaring at Trevor and yelling, "You damned hound, you shameless traitor! You used my intelligence and my men, and then you betrayed me!"

"Oh, Amanda, well, you know I'm under a lot of pressure from above, and you haven't come up with a solution for this alliance all these years, so I think it might be my responsibility to take charge of these things."

"However, you have connections above you, and I have connections above me, so I can only make your death look like it was done by someone else."

He put on seamless gloves, then bent his bow, nocked an arrow, and folded Amanda to release the bowstring.

"Whoosh!"

The whistling arrow was like a green lightning bolt that streaked through the air and pierced Amanda's neck at incredible speed, pinning her to the floor.

Amanda, the leader of Task Force X, has officially logged off!

"Alright, Staro, now it's time to talk about our cooperation."

Trevor smiled, picked up the microphone from the ground, and began to talk to the giant starfish.
