A Certain Magical Hogwarts

Chapter 868 The King of the Pot—Snape!

Chapter 868 The King of the Pot—Snape!

Harry sought out William not to become a spy, nor was he being coerced; he was after William's damned horns.

Hmm... a scar!

As a device that can communicate with the Dark Lord, Harry has recently suffered a lot because of it.

Before, scars were like periods, only coming once a month. They usually hurt at night, when I was sleeping.

But now, it's suddenly become more frequent, like having a boyfriend, with constant stinging almost every night.

Harry could still feel waves of annoyance or joy that were unrelated to Voldemort's actions at the time.

If it were someone else, they might have wild imaginations and think they were experiencing a storyline where bodies are frequently swapped... except the person they swapped with wasn't a girl, but Voldemort.

Harry insisted, "This increase in frequency started after the first time I learned Occlumency from Snape!"

He believed that Snape's tutoring exacerbated the problem.

Harry was more subtle, but Ron made no attempt to hide his deep malice towards Professor Snape.

"Maybe...it's not Harry's fault that he can't shut down his brain."

"So whose fault do you think it is?" William asked the duo, amused.

It can't be the time of day that's at fault, can it?

Ron said in a meaningful whisper, "Perhaps Snape actually wanted to open Harry's mind a little wider... to let Vader... you know..."

Professor Snape truly deserves the title of Hogwarts' number one scapegoat; he could easily take over the title of King of Blames...

As Ron continued his "fact-based" and "unbiased" criticism of Snape, William countered with a question:

"Harry, why did Dumbledore make you learn Occlumency?"

"Voldemort might invade my brain, and that connection must be severed," Harry said honestly.

"When did he become aware of this connection?"

"After Mr. Weasley was attacked last time..." Harry couldn't continue.

He suddenly realized something:

The scar pain was less frequent before because Voldemort hadn't discovered this thought connection; now it's more frequent because he has.

It's that simple!

"That's right, it really has nothing to do with Professor Snape," William said, shaking his head.

"This increased frequency is purely Voldemort's doing. Even if you don't learn Occlumency now, the pain will still come."

"So..." William looked at Ron again, "Dumbledore trusts Professor Snape, he's working for the Order of the Phoenix, that's enough."

Stop doubting your own people!

"Snape used to be a Death Eater," Ron insisted. "We've never seen any real evidence of his conversion..."

"Just because you didn't see it doesn't mean it didn't exist," William interrupted.

"Professor Dumbledore has his reasons for not telling you every piece of evidence he knows."

Ron is a classic example of "If I didn't see it, it didn't exist."

But he never knew his place, or was not familiar with "Status," one of the Four Great Classical Novels.

Ron didn't even consider that he was just a minor wizard, so why would Dumbledore tell him secrets?

Moreover, although Snape and Harry had a feud, it would be unfair to say that he didn't teach them properly.

Harry's slow progress in Occlumency can be attributed to only two reasons:

First, rather than severing that mental connection, Harry was more interested in figuring out what Voldemort was doing.

Secondly, Harry doesn't really have much talent for Occlumency.

After William explained, he gave Harry several bottles of highly concentrated "water of life and death".

The Water of Life and Death is similar to a sleeping pill; although it cannot prevent Harry from connecting with Voldemort's mind, it can put him into a deep sleep.

You'll feel much better.

Harry thanked them a few times, took a deep breath, and then inquired:

"By the way, William, have you... seen Qiu?"

William, Hermione, and Anne exchanged glances, then simultaneously pointed to the Patiff Tea House not far away.

Harry turned his head and almost fainted.

He saw Cedric and Cho sitting on a chair by the window, embracing intimately...kissing!

More than the pain of the scars, Harry had only one thought at that moment:

I'm in... hell!

Cedric, who was sitting at the table, suddenly felt a chill and got goosebumps all over his body.

This damn feeling... it's so familiar!

On the day he confessed his feelings, he was about to kiss Cho when he discovered Harry's photo in the corner, and the feeling was exactly the same...

Cedric couldn't help but open his eyes, glancing at the window out of the corner of his eye.

He shuddered; Harry was standing not far away, staring at him.

Cedric felt really angry!

If he develops any long-term effects, such as impotence or premature ejaculation, it will all be Harry's fault!

……

……

This trip to Hogsmeade is destined to be a mix of joy and sorrow.

For example, Cedric feels that Harry is becoming a source of psychological trauma for him.

Harry was also very sad to see Cedric and Cho together, even kissing...

He's heartbroken!

That night, Harry tossed and turned, and had no choice but to get up and drink the water of life and death that William had given him.

I finally fell asleep; the medicine worked very well.

In his dream, Harry saw Cedric become a vampire, transfer to an American school, and successfully win over Cho.

The only downside was that during the kiss, there was a picture of Cedric on one side of the room, staring at them intently…

……

……

Entering March,

The snow around the school gradually melted, replaced by a damp, chilly chill caused by magical damage.

Grayish-purple clouds hung low over the castle, and the continuous cold rain made the lawn slippery and muddy.

As a result, the sixth-grade students' first Phantom Class was moved from the playground to the auditorium.

William doesn't have a certificate and will take the exam in April, but he won't register for this course.

After all, it costs money.

But as a professor in the Ravenclaw department, Dean Flitwick naturally took a hands-off approach, leaving the task of supervising the students to William.

I'm willing to help, but I need to be paid overtime.

In my past life, I was paid to invigilate both final exams and the CET-4/6 exams.

So, encouraged by the "honest" Professor Flitwick, William honestly went to inquire about overtime pay.

Professor McGonagall, a financial whiz, then wore a puzzled expression.

Overtime pay? What's that?

Okay, I've really gone too far with this!

Even though he had no money, William had to keep going.

When he arrived at the auditorium in the morning, he found that all the tables were gone.

Rain pattered against the high windows, and the enchanted ceiling swirled dimly overhead.

All students who met the age requirement appeared in the auditorium.

Just as the students were anxiously waiting for their teacher, Professor McGonagall waved her hand and, along with two deans and William, a nobody in the workplace, held a short impromptu meeting.

It turns out the teacher for the Phantom Manifestation class had an upset stomach this morning and couldn't come for the time being.

Let McGonagall and the others teach them themselves first...

This is outrageous!

Not only do they not have money to invigilate exams, but now they also have to substitute for students for free?

Why don't you just die!
