A Certain Magical Hogwarts

Chapter 665 The two of them went to a Home Inn!

In just one night, Gryffindor went from second to last place... which certainly doesn't sound good.

But if we put it another way, and the score was moved down two places, wouldn't that be less awkward?

It's just two people; it's normal fluctuation.

Rounding down, we're third; rounding down again, we're still second. One more round and we're first.

Very close.

The lion cubs are really taking this in stride, especially after last year's point deduction battle.

History has already been made, so why would we care about trivial matters in ordinary times?

"It's alright!"

On his hospital bed in the school hospital, Ron said these words to Harry, who was feeling somewhat guilty.

"But..." Harry wasn't worried about his house grades, but rather about what happened that night.

Did Aki go to the prefectural bathroom with Cedric?

Ron, unaware of Harry's thoughts, continued to comfort him, "It's okay, don't worry, Harry, we'll be alright."

Listening to Ron's words, Harry felt that something was off.

Ron, however, remained calm.

Anyway, he was in the hospital, and had just entered the ward, so he was fearless.

He can just avoid the Gryffindor students. No one here will accuse him of studying dark magic.

Ron's condition only stabilized for two days before it started to decline. As the match drew closer, Ludo showed no signs of appearing.

Ron began writing to him, seven letters a day, urging him to come back soon.

However, the letter seemed to have sunk without a trace.

He finally started to panic.

During this time, the twins also came to ask if they wanted to buy the secret of the golden egg.

For my younger brother's sake, I can give him a discount.

But Ron insisted that it would be foolish to spend money to buy intelligence if Ludo returned.

Okay... he simply doesn't have any money!

Even more panicked than Ron was Karkaroff. He believed Snape and ordered the champions to smash the golden egg.

The principal himself gave the instructions, so there's no way he could be wrong. Just smash it anyway; if anything goes wrong, it's Principal Kakarov's fault.

But the image hidden inside the egg, as imagined, did not appear.

Forget about maps... there's not even a hair.

Durmstrang's students were immediately thrown into a panic.

This isn't what we agreed on. Furthermore, the golden egg has been smashed and is completely silent.

Karkaroff panicked and rushed to find Professor Snape.

Snape, however, felt that Karkaroff had nothing left to extract from him and would only stick to him all day, wanting to show him some dark thing.

Haven't you heard the rumors about the two of them circulating at school?

He said that in the middle of the night, he and Kakarov had a secret rendezvous while boating on Black Lake.

Such outrageous rumors... Snape immediately began to avoid Karkaroff.

After several unsuccessful attempts to impress Snape, Karkaroff also began to think that Snape was not very reliable.

I smashed the golden egg because I followed his suggestion. He probably didn't know the second point either.

After much thought, Stark is still the most reliable.

Although he's not a very good person, with the mouth of a shrewd businessman, his intelligence is still quite accurate.

And so, Akali's mysterious intelligence shop, always ready to help those in need, is back online.

The contact between the two parties went very smoothly. It was a straightforward transaction: money on delivery, fair dealings, and no deception.

But Karkarov believed that he shouldn't always be the one to pay; the students should also chip in.

The students were immediately unhappy.

If Karkaroff hadn't told them to smash the golden egg, they might have already cracked the secret.

The two sides reached a stalemate and began to bargain.

As the competition drew closer, everyone finally compromised and agreed to split the profits 50/50.

All the warriors who knew the second point began to bury themselves in thinking about how to spend an hour in the Black Lake.

Two days before the start of the second competition, Hagrid finally returned. He had lost a lot of weight after being away for a while.

In Hagrid's words:

He survived in some of the world's harshest environments. In these places, without the right survival skills, you won't live more than a day...

Well, it seems Hagrid went to participate in a wilderness survival competition.

He returned, and Professor Glapland left. Like William, she was merely a substitute teacher.

After Hagrid returned to the classroom, he finally stopped teaching the blasting-tailed snail.

He can't teach anymore.

Two had already starved to death because they had been gone for so long. Including William's daughter "Dog's Leftovers," there were only three tadpoles left in total.

This is practically raising a treacherous insect.

Hagrid seemed to be experiencing a midlife crisis, realizing that if things continued this way, he risked being laid off.

So he continued teaching the unicorn lesson.

Hagrid knew just as much about unicorns as he did about trolls. He shared a lot of obscure and interesting facts.

However, Hagrid clearly found it disappointing that unicorns didn't have fangs.

He also displayed a unicorn cub.

Unlike adult unicorns, baby unicorns have golden fur and look much cuter.

The girls were ecstatic when they saw it. Their previously long faces immediately brightened.

As it turns out, adult unicorns are indeed old perverts.

The little unicorns weren't particularly averse to boys... so everyone went up and petted them.

After class,

William spoke with Cho and Hagrid for a while, then left the cabin and headed toward the auditorium.

Halfway there, the two unexpectedly ran into Harry.

"Hi, Qiu...hello!"

Harry was incredibly excited, it seemed like he hadn't greeted his goddess in a long time, and he even stammered a little.

"Hello, Harry," Cho nodded and smiled.

Harry paused for a few seconds, then asked, "Have you eaten?"

"Not yet." Qiu shook her head.

"I haven't eaten either," Harry said awkwardly. "The weather's really nice today."

"Really? Wasn't it just raining?" Qiu glanced out the window in confusion.

"Oh, what are you planning to eat tonight?"

"..."

William couldn't stand the awkward conversation any longer; he got goosebumps all over.

"I'm leaving now. You two continue your conversation."

Before he could take more than a few steps, Harry called out, "William, I'm here to see you... Professor Dumbledore wants to see you!"

William turned around, gave him a strange look, and asked, "Who else is there besides me?"

"And Fred, I'm going too... As for the others, I don't know." Harry was also puzzled.

William squinted and thought for a moment; he already knew what he was going to do.

During Christmas, he and Hermione deduced that the treasure hidden in the golden egg... was someone.

He's probably going to treat it like a treasure.

Fred is definitely George's darling. As for Harry... he might be Ron's, or he might be Malfoy's.

"Let's go then," William said. "Choi, tell Hermione I went to the headmistress; she'll tell you what happened."

Harry was reluctant to leave and lingered, looking at Cho with longing. Only after William had walked away did he follow.

"William, there's something I want to ask you," Harry said after a moment's hesitation.

"What is it?" William asked.

"That night... the night Ron and I got caught while out for a night out, did Cedric take Cho to the prefectural bathhouse?"

"No," William said, shaking his head with a smile.

Harry breathed a sigh of relief; he felt alive again.

If William had said yes, he really would have grabbed a cleaver and gone to chop Cedric.

"But they both went to a Home Inn," William suddenly said.

Harry looked confused.

William was somewhat disappointed; Harry didn't understand the implication. He should have just said Hilton's name directly.

The two quickly arrived at the principal's office, where more than twenty students were already standing.

"William!" Gabrielle waved from the crowd and moved closer to him.

"You're here too!" The little girl was happy to have a familiar face.

"Where are we going?" she asked in a low voice.

"For the second project, we need to steal the golden egg from the Warriors," William said.

"You're going to steal your sister. If you do, she'll lose."

Gabrielle scoffed, "No way! I'm not going to steal!"

William laughed and said, "Whether you go or not is not up to you."

The little girl nodded emphatically.

William flicked her forehead with his finger.

There's only one chapter today.

I went out for dinner with a friend introduced by a classmate last night... and sure enough, the photos were misleading; the person in person looks completely different from the pictures.

Master, I understand now.
