The two eventually managed to shake off the crowd and rush into the auditorium.

There were quite a few students in the auditorium, but everyone was keeping a low profile. After all, the professors were watching.

The professors' expressions varied.

Dumbledore requires all the teachers to attend the ball... which is a bit much.

It's not that there are too many monks and not enough meat, but rather that the female teachers have no choice.

Although Dumbledore was old and physically frail, he was still considered tall among short people.

Hagrid was really tall... standing next to him, he looked like a hobbit.

You cannot select this option.

Together with Professor Flitwick, he transformed into a giant again, and had to bend over to dance.

You can't choose that either.

Filch is such an oddball, and he's very close to Mrs. Pings.

Although there have been recent rumors that Krum has caught up with Mrs. Sloane... the two may be in a period of emotional emptiness.

But I can't offend my colleagues.

You absolutely cannot choose that.

And then there's Professor Moody. Forget dancing, he'd probably be choked the moment he got close.

Besides, his legs are bad, so he's not suited for dancing.

As for Professor Snape... well, that must be some really extreme taste.

Dancing with him would probably make you dizzy from the fumes of his hair and cause you to faint on the dance floor.

Anyone who didn't know better would think you were just too excited.

That scene was something I couldn't even imagine.

The worst choice!

After the female teachers went through the selection process, everyone suddenly realized... that the best male teacher in the teaching team was actually young William.

As for William, he had just sat down at the Ravenclaw table when Cedric forcibly dragged him away.

Fleur had just declined Davies' invitation from Ravenclaw and was about to say something to William when she turned around and found him gone.

She watched his retreating figure, sighed softly, and tossed her silver hair in slight distress.

Qiu secretly observed and couldn't help but laugh out loud.

As William's best friend and confidante, Cho Zhen tries to suggest that he choose Fleur as his dance partner, only to be cursed by Hermione.

She had wanted to see this iconic scene more than once.

Cedric grabbed William and dragged him toward Hufflepuff.

A group of badger cubs looked on expectantly, as if... Cedric and William were about to become dance partners.

He thought for a moment, then turned and went to the Gryffindor table.

Hermione and Anne sat together, and William squeezed between them.

Annie shifted her position to the side, making room for her brother with a hint of disdain.

William picked up Hermione's rice ball and took a big bite.

The girl, unusually, remained silent, secretly glancing at William before lowering her gaze, lost in thought.

"What's wrong, Cedric?" William asked.

"Give me some ideas," Cedric whispered. "I'm going to invite... Cho."

Harry, with his sharp ears, immediately perked up and began to eavesdrop on his rivals.

That's right. Although Harry and Cedric are rivals, only by knowing yourself and your enemy can you win every battle.

"Just go, just say so," Annie said matter-of-factly.

"No, we can't just say it directly!" Cedric shook his head: "We need to create the right atmosphere, it needs to be a little romantic, that way we'll have a better chance of success."

Also... how to say it needs to be carefully considered.

If Qiu agrees, what should I do? If she doesn't agree... what should I do then?

Is it relentless pursuit, or a strategy of playing hard to get...?

Cedric talked on and on, like a relationship expert.

Harry, who was eavesdropping, nodded in deep agreement.

That makes so much sense... I never imagined Cedric had gone to such lengths to understand how to woo girls.

Can I borrow his book, "The Love Manual," from the library?

If not, Harry will just smash it!

The twins walked over, and George laughed, "Cedric, you're overthinking it!"

"What?"

"I'm telling you, you'll never get a girl if you keep hesitating like this," Fred said, patting Cedric on the shoulder.

"We'd better speed things up, or someone else will invite Qiu ahead of time."

The same applies to other good girls; we must act quickly.

"So, who are you going with?" Ron asked curiously.

"Angelina," Fred answered without hesitation, without the slightest embarrassment.

"What?" Ron asked in surprise, "You've already invited her?"

"Good question." Fred snapped his fingers.

He turned his head and called out towards the other end of the table, "Hey, Angelina!"

Angelina was chatting with Aria Spinnet when she heard the shout and looked towards Fred.

"What's wrong?" she asked loudly.

Would you like to come to the dance with me?

Angelina gave Fred a calculating look.

"Of course," she said, then turned back to continue chatting with Arya, a faint smile on her face.

"See!" Fred said to Cedric, "It's that simple, a piece of cake."

We need to hurry, otherwise someone else will invite you first, and you'll miss your chance.

Harry looked at the twins with a puzzled expression; what they said seemed to make sense.

But Cedric's point... is valid.

Harry was caught in a dilemma.

"Harry, we should take action too...invite someone," Ron said thoughtfully. "Fred is right. I don't want to end up dancing with an ugly duckling."

Some people will never get asked to dance, and if we're too late, we'll have to team up with these kinds of people.

"But..." Harry hesitated.

"No buts." Ron shrugged and said, "Think about it, in the end, all that's left are girls like Eloise Midgen."

I'd rather go alone than look for her!

And I'm a warrior, so I need to find a beautiful female companion...

Hermione looked up and frowned, saying, "Ron, you shouldn't talk badly about Eloise behind her back."

Her acne has improved a lot recently; she's actually quite pretty!

"Her nose is a little crooked," Ron said bluntly. "Okay, she's just ugly!"

"Oh, I see," Hermione couldn't help but scoff. "Basically, you want to invite the prettiest girl who's willing to accept you."

Even if this person is a morally bankrupt individual, a complete and utter villain?

"Hmm—yes, that's basically right," Ron said, glancing in Fleur's direction. "As long as she's pretty, that's all that matters."

"Is this your worldview?" Hermione asked, as if she were seeing Ron for the first time, her face showing disgust.

"You're really disgusting... You always change my opinion of you."

She said sarcastically:

"You could write a textbook so girls can learn how to avoid making the same mistakes and end up with someone like you."

Ron's face turned red.

Hermione stood up, didn't look at him again, and walked haughtily out of the Great Hall.

William thought for a moment, then got up and followed him out.

But after only a few steps, Annie caught up with him.

"Anne, what's wrong with Hermione today?" William asked. "She seems to be in a terrible mood. Who upset her?"

"Who do you think it is?" Annie asked gloatingly.

"Besides you, who else could possibly mess with Hermione?"

"What's wrong with me?" William asked, looking confused.

"Ask him yourself!" Annie shook her head. "I'm not telling you!"

"Then why are you following me?" William said irritably.

She raised her hand, grabbed her braid, shook it, smiled brightly, and suddenly asked:

"Brother, do you have a girlfriend?"
