A Certain Magical Hogwarts
Chapter 570 I'm going to kill it!
Chapter 570 I'm going to kill it!
The Selma Lake Monster is a giant snake that lives in the cold lakes of Norway.
While it cannot compare to the legendary Norse siren, it is still an extremely powerful being among magical creatures.
Its size is even longer than that of a fire dragon.
Norwegians love to do fancy things. If they could find the Norwegian siren, they would definitely capture it and use it as a mascot.
But this mascot brings a fatal crisis, namely the security issues of the World Cup.
These mascots are, after all, magical creatures, and many of them are quite dangerous.
But there are only so many Aurors, and maintaining the safety of a camp of 100,000 people is a challenge. Naturally, no one can take care of these "little cuties" that each country brought with them.
Therefore, the wizard who deliberately released the mascot was incredibly accurate and ruthless, directly finding the World Cup's fatal flaw.
Little Tom likes a sense of ritual;
Arya loves big events;
Stark would have preferred both of them to die.
Therefore, all things considered, this seems very much like the work of that damned Arya.
Arya herself probably didn't come, so what was her purpose?
Everyone has a purpose in doing things.
Provoking William from afar... Arya shouldn't be that bored.
After all, she was "not long for this world" and might have to fight with Cleopatra for control of her body.
William squinted, his hands in his pockets, deep in thought about the problem.
"What should we do, William?" Fleur looked at the lake monster wreaking havoc in the camp with a worried expression.
"Its destructive power is too great! Even those Aurors don't seem to be able to stop it!"
Hearing Fleur's words, William snapped out of his reverie, glanced at the lake monster in the distance, and calmly said:
"I'll go kill it."
Just one simple sentence was enough to make Furong's heart flutter.
She knew, of course, that William was very powerful, even much more so than Mrs. Maxime.
Knowing his strength, I should have been mentally prepared, but hearing this answer... I still couldn't suppress the excitement in my heart.
William had Gabrielle hide in the safety watch and then took out a bottle of dragon's blood mixed with malt whiskey.
I've kept these things for a year, and I never thought they'd come in handy.
After he opened the bottle, the smell of dragon's blood mixed with whiskey instantly spread throughout the camp.
Maxim's sacred horse broke free from its restraints once again, galloping wildly, chasing after the scent of malt.
The lead horse was the same black steed William rode in France last year.
William gazed at the dust kicked up by horses' hooves in the distance and chuckled softly, "This time, Mrs. Maxim won't blame me for stealing her horse, will she?"
Furong suddenly remembered what happened last time.
William spoke ill of Mrs. Maxim, but unfortunately she overheard him.
The girl covered her mouth and laughed:
"If you really like it, I can get you one."
"Absolutely!" William gave a thumbs up. "But one horse isn't enough; we need at least fifty or sixty."
Furong rolled her eyes at him and said softly, "Then you might as well sell me."
William suddenly remembered something, waved his wand, and a silver sea eagle flew out and flew into the distance.
He whistled, and the divine talisman horse galloped towards him, which he leaped onto.
Furong found a chestnut-colored divine talisman horse.
William smeared dragon blood on his palm, grabbed the mane, and said coldly, "Let's go!"
The dozen or so divine talisman horses all followed the two leading horses at high speed.
William did not immediately stop the lake monster, but instead took a detour and ran towards the hooded wizard.
These people deserve to die more than the magical creatures that destroyed the camp!
……
……
As the procession progressed, more wizards joined the advancing group.
They laughed loudly and set the roadside tents on fire with their wands. The screams grew even louder.
Several people, all Muggles, were floating in the air. One was Mr. Roberts, the camp administrator, and the other three were his wife and children.
A marcher raised his wand and turned Mrs. Roberts upside down. Her nightgown fell down, revealing her floral underwear.
The crowd below screamed and cheered with glee, and she struggled to cover her body.
The youngest Muggle child, sixty feet above the ground, began to spin like a top, his head limp and tilting to one side and then to the other.
The crowd burst into laughter, and the protester laughed and cursed, "You mud bastard, go to hell, ha ha ha!"
Just then, the silver longsword came hurtling towards them without warning.
The protester who had tormented Mrs. Roberts had his hands suddenly pierced through. After a brief spin, the silver sword blasted a large hole, as big as a basket, into the ground.
As William rode on the steed, he twisted his wand, and a long, thin flame emerged from the tip of the wand.
He wielded it like a whip, wrapping it around the parading wizard.
Several wizards raised their wands, attempting to stop William's attack.
William spread his right arm and thrust his wand forward, creating a strong wind in front of him. The ground was pulled by the magic, and many large stones were torn out and shot towards the crowd.
Upon seeing this, many wizards immediately Apparated away, especially those wearing hoods.
William showed no sign of slowing down, urging his divine horse forward towards the wizards who were attempting to resist.
When the divine horse runs, its long, dynamic, and powerful body is particularly prominent, almost crushing everything in its path.
The marching crowd, fearing retreat, was completely scattered.
William waved his wand and saved the Roberts family, who had already fainted.
He dismounted from his divine talisman horse and examined it, saying:
"He's been frightened and needs to be taken to St. Mungo's Hospital for Magical Arts."
Hibiscus nodded. "I'll take them away."
"William!"
Just then, a shout rang out.
William turned his head and saw the twins and Ginny rushing towards him against the flow of people.
"What are you doing here? Where is Mr. Weasley?" he asked.
"There!" Fred pointed to the raging lake monster in the distance. "They've gone to stop the monster."
"My dad, Bill, Charlie, and Percy all went," George said.
"William, Harry is missing!" Ginny said in alarm. "He was just with us."
"What's going on?" William asked, frowning.
"There was an attack just now, and the fire came over. We left the tent and headed towards the woods," Fred explained.
"Then, Harry and Ron disappeared," George continued.
"They might have been separated by the crowd; it's dark everywhere here," Furong explained.
"What do we do?" Ginny's eyes widened in horror. "There are attacks everywhere."
"The attack has subsided," William said softly. "I broke up the parade, and Newt and the others are hunting magical creatures."
The unrest will be brought under control soon.
He glanced at the still rampaging lake monster. It was the only one that was truly troublesome.
"Harry and Ron can look for them later; I have more important things to do now."
William looked up at the sky; large patches of dark clouds were already gathering.
"You guys go to the safe area and hide for a while. I'll finish the fight soon."
"Where are you going?" Ginny asked worriedly.
"Kill the lake monster!"
After everyone had entered the safety area, William stood still, unsure of what he was waiting for.
After an unknown amount of time, a deafening scream suddenly echoed through the sky.
A giant thunderbird suddenly appeared.
Hermione stood on the head of the Thunderbird.
She has a fear of heights and doesn't even dare to fly her broomstick more than five meters high, but at this moment she is trying her best to overcome her fear and craning her neck to search for William's figure.
Fortunately, with Piqueli in control, the unruly Thunderbird was kept relatively stable.
William's lips curled slightly; this was the guardian spirit he had summoned earlier using the Patronus Charm.
He mounted his horse, and as he passed the silver sword embedded in the ground, he gently trembled his left hand, and the sword flew towards him.
The thunderous sound of horses' hooves rang out, and almost all the wizards who were dealing with the lake monster turned their heads away.
In everyone's eyes, a divine horse with a black mane galloped towards them.
That colossal steed, the size of an elephant, was so fast that it displayed a dynamic and visually stunning beauty as it ran.
On the back of the divine horse sat only an excessively young wizard.
Everyone stopped in shock and stared intently at William.
He rode alone, wielding a silver sword, and galloped wildly through the ruins, charging headlong towards the lake monster.
