A Certain Magical Hogwarts

Chapter 517 I have done a great service for the Ministry of Magic!

Chapter 517 I have done a great service for the Ministry of Magic!

The calm river surface suddenly rippled, and huge waves surged out, crashing against the damp riverbank.

In the middle of the canal, a large whirlpool appeared, as if a giant plug had been pulled out from the riverbed.

Slowly, a large ship rose out of the water, gleaming in the sunlight.

Its appearance is strange, like the remains of a shipwreck that has just been salvaged.

A dim, hazy light flickered on the porthole, like the eyes of a ghost.

With a splash, an iron anchor was thrown into the water. Then, with a snap, the door was opened.

An elderly person was the first to step out.

He had flowing, silvery-white hair and a beard meticulously groomed with olive oil. His luxurious, moon-white robe billowed in the wind.

When the old man stepped outside and saw the scene before him, he was clearly... stunned.

Not to brag, but he has experienced many big events and is a seasoned veteran.

What about the first Dark Lord, Grindelwald? The two fought in close combat many times!

What about Voldemort, the second Dark Lord?

Both sides exchanged various magical attacks, and each battle destroyed countless buildings.

But I've never seen a scene like this before:

Looking up, the entire city was a mess of ruins, with almost no intact buildings.

Has a tsunami occurred?!

As a wizard who, in his spare time, was instilled with a lot of strange Muggle knowledge by Anne.

Dumbledore is also a seasoned enthusiast of bizarre events.

He had some knowledge of wormholes, time tunnels, parallel universes, crystal skulls, the Bermuda Triangle, and so on.

At that moment, Dumbledore did indeed recall these things.

Karkaroff's ship may have traveled to the future... Venice, through some kind of wormhole similar to a time-twister!

The Third World War of Muggles may have occurred here.

Otherwise, there's no reason to explain this vast expanse of ruins.

So, is it actually 4991 now?

"Professor, why are you blocking the doorway?" a clear voice called out.

Soon, a tall figure appeared behind Dumbledore.

The ship's door was quite spacious, but it suddenly became crowded after that figure appeared.

It's like a Tiger tank squeezing into a four-lane road, instantly turning it into a narrow country lane.

Maxim was about to urge Dumbledore to go downstairs when she bent down and glanced unintentionally at the door, and she was immediately stunned.

"Oh, this..."

She turned around and shouted into the boat:

"Kakarov, I told you before, don't come in your wrecked ship, just come in my divine talisman carriage."

Mrs. Maxim said gloatingly, "Serves you right for not listening to me and showing off everywhere. Now look what's happened."

Hehe~

"What happened? Did the Muggles find us? We stopped in a really remote place."

An old man rushed over. He was tall and thin, with short white hair and a goatee with small curls at the ends.

He was wrapped in a silver leather jacket and seemed very cold.

"It wasn't that Muggles discovered it, but that your ship flooded Venice," Madame Maxime said.

"Nonsense!"

Karkarov walked to the door, but Mrs. Maxim's enormous body blocked the doorway like a wall.

"Make way, madam!" Karkarov said impatiently.

"Damn dwarf," Mrs. Maxim thought to herself as she backed away.

"Ah...this has nothing to do with me!" Karkaroff's face turned ashen, revealing a row of yellow teeth.

This is clearly none of his business.

If a magic ship could have such an effect, he would have already sailed it to flood the British Isles and killed Voldemort.

You don't have to live in constant fear!

Just as the two principals were arguing, a group of Auror phantoms appeared on the shore not far away.

They watched the magic ship warily, along with the strange wizard standing at the ship's door.

"Who are you?" asked an older Auror with blond hair.

"I am Dumbledore, here to attend the International Wizarding Convention."

"Mr. Dumbledore?" Auror was startled; he did indeed find the old man familiar.

It really is Dumbledore!

I'd only ever heard about it before, but today I finally saw it alive.

"I'm sorry, sir," Auror said immediately in a polite manner.

"These are extraordinary times. Italy has activated Level 1 martial law, and we must verify your identity."

"Yes," Dumbledore nodded.

"That includes you too." Auror glanced at Karkaroff.

Maxim stood behind her so as not to block the door, so he didn't see her.

"Since you are Professor Dumbledore and the Headmaster of Hogwarts..." a young female Auror couldn't help but interject:

"You should know Mr. Stark and Miss Granger, right?"

"I know them. How are they doing now?" Dumbledore asked with concern.

Last night, he received a message from Nicole and learned about the whole thing.

The Goblet of Fire has been lost, and the Italian Ministry of Magic is hunting them down.

This is also why Dumbledore rushed to Italy after the French Conference.

Oh, Merlin's hair.

Will William destroy Venice in a fit of rage?

But the witch's next words completely confused Dumbledore.

"Since you know them, were they both this good in school?"

"How did you manage to train such a talented student? He's definitely better than our Beauxbatons," another Auror said.

"Yes, I'm not just flattering you; I would say the same thing even in front of Mrs. Maxim."

The witch said solemnly:

"Hogwarts' teaching quality is indeed a bit higher than Beauxbatons'."

Why can't we cultivate such outstanding wizards?

Our teaching system is flawed; it's not holistic education, it only produces test-takers…

Maxim was exasperated. She grabbed Kakarov by the collar and pulled him behind her.

Maxim squeezed to the doorway again, staring at the wizards.

"Mrs. Maxim, what are you doing here?" The female Auror's small hand trembled, startled.

As is well known, Maxim always travels by divine horse.

Where's your horse?!

Dumbledore frowned, pondering what had happened.

It's not that he's arrogant; British wizards who go abroad are usually asked all sorts of questions, like whether they know Dumbledore.

It seems that things have suddenly turned upside down; judging from the appearance of this group of Italian Aurors, it seems that every British wizard should know William and Hermione.

Not knowing someone means being ignorant.

I need to sign this too... Wasn't he still wanted yesterday?

Is this a wanted notice? Are you sure it's not just about chasing celebrities?

"Where is Stark now? I can't wait to see him." Maxim clenched his fist.

This kid always speaks ill of Furong in front of her. He even stole her divine talisman horse last summer.

Maxim had always thought William was a decent man.

She couldn't wait any longer to let William experience the caress of an iron fist.

"Take me to Stark now!" Maxim said.

"He's very busy and probably won't have time to see you, and besides..."

The Italian wizards' expressions instantly turned hostile, and the blond Auror shouted:

"Hurry and send reinforcements! A suspicious wizard has been spotted here, possibly impersonating Lady Maxime and trying to harm Mr. Stark!"

I suspect he's an accomplice of that white dragon, or perhaps... a Death Eater.

Maxim: "..."

Karkaroff cracked his neck and barked, "Death Eater? Where is she! Grab her now!"

Dumbledore and Maxim both turned their heads and glanced at Karkaroff.

Dumbledore suddenly remembered Hagrid's Tooth: seemingly fierce, but actually a coward.

"What do you mean by this?" Maxim asked, frowning.

"Why are you all so worried? Did he save Italy, or did he save you?"

"Oh, in a way, madam... you're right," the witch whispered.

"If you really are Mrs. Maxim, you'd better be careful."

Currently in Italy, there are two things you cannot mention:

First, the pasta was unpalatable;

Second, bad things said about Stark and Miss Granger.

"..."

……

……

St. Mark's Square is already in ruins.

Auror Captain Russell was arrested and his wand was taken away.

He shouted:

"Let me go! I have served the Ministry of Magic and I have shed blood for the Minister."

You can't do this. I need to see the minister! I need to see the minister!

William and Hermione stood to one side, watching a group of Aurors lead Russell away.

They all remained silent.
