A Certain Magical Hogwarts
Chapter 48 The Room of Requirement
Chapter 48 The House of Requirement (Second Update)
On Saturday afternoon, William, Cedric, and Autumn had to put down their homework and leave the castle for Hagrid's cottage.
The cottage has changed dramatically, with layers upon layers of reinforced fences around it, making it look like a maze.
The artist Hagrid drew a map, and William followed the crooked, simple sketch, circling around several times before finally entering.
When William knocked on the door, a tense struggle and three low barks came from inside.
Then Hagrid's voice rang out: "Back up, Lou Williams, back up!"
Hagrid opened the door a crack, revealing his large, bearded face.
"Wait a minute," he said. "Step back, Lu Wei."
Haigra opened the door and let the three of them in, while desperately grabbing the collar of a huge black hunting dog.
Hagrid's cabin has changed dramatically. The hams and pheasants that used to hang from the ceiling are gone, replaced by several thick books.
"The Cerberus Breeds of Great Britain and Ireland", "Cerberus - From Birth to Pregnancy to Death", "Cerberus Egg Cutting Guide".
Apart from these books, nothing in the cabin was intact.
The large bed in the corner had all four legs broken, and the bed was placed on the ground with a row of dog teeth marks on the broken wood.
The room was a mess, with shredded items everywhere.
Hagrid's cabin was demolished by Lu Wei!
There was a boy standing in the cabin; it was Charlie Weasley.
Charlie, like Hagrid, is fascinated by furry magical creatures, and the two are good friends.
Hagrid moved five stools from the corner, and the group sat down.
Qiu glanced around and asked, "Where's Ya Ya?"
Hagrid sighed and said, "I left Toothpick on the edge of the Forbidden Forest; it'd rather stay there than go home!"
Louie is already bigger than Tooth. A while ago, Tooth snatched a lot of Louie's snacks, and now it's afraid of being retaliated against.
Not only is Lou Williams huge, but he's also getting uglier and uglier. He has three heads with open mouths and drooling, making him look particularly terrifying.
"Let it go, Hagrid," Cedric urged. "Release it."
"I can't," Hagrid said, feeling wronged. "It's only six months old, still a baby!"
"..."
Charlie said, "Hagrid, the Cerberus grows very fast. In less than a year, it will be as tall as your little cabin."
Don't forget, it's still unclear whether Professor Snape attacked the Ministry of Magic, but what if the Aurors come back and find Cerberus here?
Hagrid looked at Fulvi with teary, blurry eyes. Fulvi's three heads were still tearing at the fluffy toy Hagrid had made for him.
"So where should we put it?" Hagrid finally admitted.
"Forbidden Forest?" Qiu suggested.
"No," Hagrid shook his head. "I questioned the creatures in the Forbidden Forest, and the centaur tribe clearly told me that if we leave Luwei there, they will kill him!"
Cerberus's fighting power is certainly very high when it grows up, but it's still a weakling right now.
This matter is actually very simple; all you need to do is tell Dumbledore, but Hagrid absolutely refuses to tell the headmaster.
Although William suspected that Dumbledore already knew.
"We can put Fluffy in Hogwarts Castle," Charlie said after a moment's hesitation. "I know it grows fast, and I'll graduate as soon as it gets through this year."
During summer vacation, I can take Luwei to Romania; I'm going to study dragons there!
Everyone stared at Charlie in astonishment.
Charlie was called a Quidditch genius by Professor McGonagall.
That makes perfect sense; Charlie displayed exceptional talent the first time he joined the school team in his second year.
In that year's final, he withstood immense pressure and caught the Golden Snitch in just fifteen minutes, successfully helping Gryffindor win the Quidditch Cup after a five-year hiatus.
Although he went four years without a title after that, it did not affect his ability; it was just that his teammates were not up to par!
Almost every wizard who watched Charlie compete believed that he would definitely join the national team after graduation.
There are even rumors that the England national team has made contact with Charlie.
But now he says he's going to Romania next year to study dinosaurs... This news is astonishing!
Charlie raised his hand and laughed, "Don't look at me like that. If you include this last year, I've played Quidditch for six years."
Although I really enjoy this sport, I'm tired and want to find some other adventures, something exciting enough to get my nerves pumping.
Charlie stood up, patted Louie's head, and Louie immediately lay down obediently on the ground, looking like a subservient "lapdog."
Charlie laughed heartily and said, "I'm not the kind of wizard who doesn't change, I hate monotony!"
Everyone thinks I should join the Quidditch team, and sometimes, when I'm alone at night, I think about it too... but that kind of predictable future is really not what I want.
And I happen to like magical creatures, so one day I asked myself, why not study dragons?
It's that simple.
William and Cedric stared at Charlie in surprise; this unconventional wizard was truly a born Gryffindor.
Hagrid pursed his lips, much like Professor McGonagall, and after a moment, he asked seriously, "Have you told Arthur and Molly?"
Charlie paused for a few seconds, then nodded and said, "I told my dad, and he told me not to tell Mom for now. Dad said he'll find an opportunity..."
Hagrid sighed: "Yes, that's how your brother Bill suddenly decided to go to Egypt."
Such an outstanding child, he obtained 12 certificates in the OWLs exams, and everyone thought he would enter the Ministry of Magic.
Molly was heartbroken over this, and now you're doing the same thing, all the way from faraway Romania.
Charlie forced a smile and said, "It's okay, Mom will definitely agree. It's not like I'm not coming back."
Hagrid fell silent.
Although he also liked all kinds of magical creatures, he cherished the word "home" even more!
He loved dragons, but he wouldn't persuade Charlie to go to Romania to study them. Because Hagrid would never leave Hogwarts for dragons.
This is his home!
Of course, Hagrid's usual approach is to take those little cuties home. (Hands on hips)
After a moment of silence, Charlie said, feigning nonchalance, "Don't let this get out, especially not to George and Fred."
William, Cedric, and Cho all nodded quickly.
"Alright, let's not talk about me anymore. Let's talk about Lou Williams' problem first."
"We definitely can't keep Louie here anymore. We need a very secluded place to keep Louie."
And I happen to know a place called the Room of Requirement.
