A Certain Magical Hogwarts
Chapter 462 You are the Hogwarts Dragon Knight?!
Chapter 462 You are the Hogwarts Dragon Knight?!
The Defense Against the Dark Arts office isn't just staffed by Professor Lupin; Harry is also there.
The desks in the room were all moved to one side, making the room look much more spacious.
In front of Harry was a large wardrobe, from which came the sounds of clattering and banging.
Interrupted by William, Harry, wand held high, looked tense, like someone suffering from constipation for over a decade.
"William, you've arrived?" Lupin stood up, his attitude incredibly warm.
"Yes, I've come to bring you your medicine. Professor Dumbledore must have mentioned it to you, right?"
"Yes, thank you so much." Professor Lupin took a breath. "I was just thinking about whether I should remind you."
Did you run into Professor Snape at the door just now?
William nodded. "Yes, our conversation didn't go very well... but the professor seemed to be enjoying himself."
How could it not be unpleasant? They turned around and forced William to buy the wolfsbane potion that nobody wanted to drink.
No wonder he's the worst of the three evils at Hogwarts!
"Really? Snape was furious when he left the room." Lupin sighed.
Just now, Snape forced him to drink the potion, as if refusing would be disrespectful.
The potion reeked of stinky feet, so if Lupin didn't want to die young, he had no choice but to refuse.
"That potion is definitely poisonous!" Harry couldn't help but interject. He exclaimed, "We should tell Professor Dumbledore; he might not know yet."
Harry always felt that if he hadn't been there, Lupin would have been grabbed by the chin by Snape and forced the potion down his throat.
Harry moved away from the wardrobe and quickly came over, looking down at the cup in William's hand.
He knew that Professor Lupin was in poor health, and that Snape used to brew potions, but now it was William who did it.
He couldn't help but ask curiously:
"William, what kind of magic potion is this?"
Lupin tensed up, afraid that William might let something slip.
"Harry, Professor Lupin won't want you to know his little secret."
William smiled and whispered, "Kidney tonic."
"..."
Harry gave Lupin a strange look; the professor was indeed pale… so it was kidney deficiency!
and many more……
Snape brewed Lupin some kidney-tonifying medicine, and looked like he wouldn't be happy if Lupin didn't drink it?!
Ah this...
Harry suddenly realized that he had discovered something incredible.
Lu Ping took the cup, sniffed it, and a satisfied look appeared on his face: "A familiar taste. I used to think it tasted awful, but now it smells really good."
"William, I know you're busy, thank you for making it for me."
I've never been very good at potions; Professor Slughorn never really liked me back then.
"Professor Slughorn?" Harry asked, puzzled.
"The previous Potions Professor retired many years ago. Professor Snape took over his position after he left," William explained.
"You know Professor Slughorn?" Lupin was extremely surprised.
"Professor Dumbledore mentioned it," William said calmly.
Dumbledore had mentioned this old professor after the Chamber of Secrets incident last semester.
In the headmaster's words: Slughorn was the former head of Slytherin House and had a great fondness for Tom; the two were very close friends.
When Voldemort fell, Slughorn was ecstatic and acted strangely.
Dumbledore thus suspected that Slughorn and Tom had shared some dark secrets.
The principal is now trying to get some information out of him.
Lupin brought the potion to his lips, took a sip, and began to tremble.
After breaking out in a cold sweat, he breathed a sigh of relief: "It's a pity I can't add sugar. But William, your potion-making skills are amazing, and you're only in fourth grade!"
What was he doing for those four years?
He and James spent their days hunting falcons and dogs, either playing pranks or going out at night.
Oh, and I also have to help James devise a plan to pursue Lily and sabotage her fragile friendship with Snape.
"Is it difficult to cook?"
Harry stared at the cup, licked his lips, and seemed to want to taste the saltiness as well.
He didn't care whether it was good for his kidneys or not; he just wanted to taste it.
He has a peculiar habit: he likes awful-tasting potions!
"It's very difficult; only a few potions masters can make it," Lupin replied affirmatively.
"Only this medicine can work for my minor problem. I'm very lucky to have met two wizards who can brew this kind of potion."
Lupin then asked curiously, "Oh, perhaps Hermione can make it too?"
"She's not quite there yet," William said with a smile, shaking his head. "However, she can handle many of the steps for me."
By second grade, Hermione was already able to brew Polyjuice Potion on her own. She was very talented, but still lacked experience.
William needs to continue patiently training him for several more years.
Harry clicked his tongue slightly. He knew William and Hermione were very capable, but he didn't expect them to be this...capable!
We're so familiar with each other that I don't really feel anything.
But if you think carefully about what the two of them did, you'll realize... the gap between him and the two of them is bigger than that between a dog and a person.
I can't keep going down this path with Ron and copying homework every day. I have to start doing something terrible!
If William knew what Harry was thinking, he would only sigh that he was... too naive!
There are only two kinds of things when it comes to copying homework: zero times or countless times.
This is an addictive habit: before doing it, you're in a rush; after doing it, you're filled with guilt and swear there will never be a next time.
"What are you doing?" William looked at the shaking wardrobe, which was now shaking even more violently.
"Want to practice the Guardian Charm?"
"That's right." Lupin gestured for Harry to continue practicing.
Harry left reluctantly, now more interested in potions than the Patronus Charm.
"Would you like a cup of tea?" Lupin asked.
He tapped the kettle with his wand, and a burst of steam suddenly shot out from the spout.
William nodded and glanced at the office.
The room decorations were not much different from those for Halloween, but there were many more magical creatures added.
In the distance, inside a large water tank, a sickly green creature with pointed horns pressed its face against the glass, making faces at William.
Lupin handed over the teacup and said, "Fantastic Beasts Grindylow, I'm going to give it to the third-year students; they're too far behind."
"Yes, that's true. We learned it in first grade... Professor Tywin taught it."
"Tywin, I remember him. He used to be on good terms with Jaime. I didn't expect him to be a Death Eater too."
William raised his eyebrows.
Lupin probably didn't know that the two had a better relationship than just a good one... Tywin even wanted to be Lupin's "sister-in-law".
However, his childhood sweetheart series couldn't compete with Lily's sudden appearance.
And Snape, the childhood sweetheart, couldn't compete with James, the newcomer.
This is truly a tragedy.
Professor Lu Ping said with a slightly bitter tone:
"The world changes too fast; people who seemed good back then will eventually become unpredictable."
"You still insist that Peter Pettigrew is alive?" He glanced at William and couldn't help but ask.
"That's right, I believe in the judgment I've reached after careful consideration," William said calmly.
"Do you believe it, Professor?"
"I...I'm not so sure." Lupin sighed, his eyes darting around as he gazed into the distance, lost in thought.
For the past ten years or so, he has lived day after day, neither very happy nor very sad.
Only when I am alone occasionally do I unconsciously think of the plunderers, and a sense of loss flashes through my heart.
Now, suddenly telling him that Peter might still be alive, and that there might be more to the story than meets the eye...
Merlin, if Sirius is truly innocent, how did he manage to spend so many years in Azkaban?
Lupin felt incredibly ashamed because, all these years, he had never thought of investigating what happened back then.
They simply chose to accept and escape.
Just then, an owl suddenly flew in from a distance, passed through the window, and landed on William's hand.
He took the letter down and began to read it carefully.
Not far away, Harry's entire attention was on Boggart.
The Boggart, now a Dementor, attacked him relentlessly.
Harry's eyes were resolute. He brushed his bangs aside, flipped his right hand, and a wand appeared in his hand.
Close your eyes and try to recall happy memories.
Harry's mind flashed back to: the first time he spoke to Cho, the first time he greeted her, the first time he dreamed of Cho...
He suddenly opened his eyes, a confident smile appearing on his lips.
Harry shook his robes, pointed his wand at the Dementor, and exuded an indescribable air of nonchalance.
"Protect Me!" he exclaimed confidently.
A thin mist of white smoke billowed out, and Harry struggled for only half a second before collapsing to the ground, his body convulsing.
At this moment, Lupin was still reminiscing about the past and had completely forgotten about Harry.
William was reading the letter and didn't notice Harry.
The Dementor looked around and, finding no one to stop it, lifted its robes, opened its cherry-like mouth, pressed it against Harry's mouth, and began to suckle intently.
The letter came from Bertha Jorkins, her own top secret agent.
She reminded William that Ludo Bagman, the Director of Physical Education at the Ministry of Magic, would be visiting Hogwarts.
Ludo Bagman?
After William finished reading the letter, he looked up and saw the Boggart, who had transformed into a Dementor, trying to give Harry a deep kiss.
What the hell!
You're Yi Zhiping, the Hogwarts Dragon Knight?!
You beast!
William felt in his pocket… My wand… wait, where’s the camera?!
