A Certain Magical Hogwarts

Chapter 461 Da Lang, it's time to take your medicine!

Chapter 461 Da Lang, it's time to take your medicine!

A month after the start of the new school term, Hufflepuff and Gryffindor each played a game against the Slytherin Quidditch team.

Slytherin suffered two consecutive defeats, perfectly inheriting Ravenclaw's glorious tradition of losing consecutive games.

This is what inheritance is all about!

After years of crushing defeats, the Hawks have finally earned the title of "professional homemakers" for Slytherin.

Hufflepuff is the team that loves to save face for weaker teams, and this time they showed no mercy, displaying the ferocity of honey badgers.

Cedric believed he had to rack up enough points against Slytherin!

Because soon, both Ravenclaw and Gryffindor will have the Firebolt bonus.

That would make their path to the championship even more difficult.

Cedric almost caught the Golden Snitch several times, but deliberately gave up and relentlessly pestered Malfoy to prevent him from searching for the Golden Snitch.

Hufflepuff delivered a textbook-perfect, high-scoring performance.

Gryffindor also wants to replicate Hufflepuff's great victory.

However, the Lions were not in good form and fell into Slytherin's fouling tactics from the start, losing the ball repeatedly.

Harry's condition was also average.

During the last Dementor attack, his broom was damaged by the Willow of Men, so he had to find a slightly inferior broom to replace it.

Everyone thought the game was over, and even Wood was about to give up in despair, but unexpectedly, Malfoy stepped up at the crucial moment and gave Gryffindor a lifeline.

During the match, he was so engrossed in chatting with Harry that he seemed to want to say everything he had accumulated throughout the semester.

While they were talking, Harry caught the Golden Snitch three meters to Malfoy's right, turning the tide of the game.

Malfoy was definitely gambling on the sidelines, or he was a Gryffindor mole, otherwise he wouldn't have given them this opportunity!

In an instant, his reputation among the lion cubs reversed, and he became a great hero of Gryffindor.

Who would believe that if I told them?!

At the end of the match, the twins even picked up a bewildered Malfoy and tossed him into the air in celebration.

The little snakes were enraged.

A crushing defeat to Hufflepuff can be consoled by one's own lack of skill; but to lose a game with a huge advantage... that's really painful.

So after Malfoy fell to the ground, the two teams started fighting for real.

That scene, that was... absolutely spectacular!

Afterwards, both teams were penalized 50 points each as a warning to others.

Professor Snape, adhering to the principles of fairness and justice and cracking down on evil forces in the arena, intended to deduct two hundred points from each side.

Even if he were biased towards his own college, he knew that the college cup was hopeless this year.

Gryffindor, on the other hand, is at the very bottom and currently has a negative score.

He thought, why not go all out and help the little lions set a new record that is unprecedented and whose taillights can't be seen from behind!

Let Gryffindor be forever nailed to the pillar of shame.

This is a tactic that kills a thousand enemies but also loses eight hundred of your own.

Unfortunately, Professor McGonagall saw through his plan and deducted fifty points beforehand.

After the start of the school year, William became busy again.

He secretly went to the Forbidden Forest and sent Aragog to find Big Black.

The old spider wasn't too keen, but he still readily agreed.

If it retained its youthful temper, it would certainly have fought back.

But as I get older, my drive and energy fade away.

They don't have many years left to live, so they're willing to compromise, cut off their own flesh to feed the eagles, and just barely survive for a few more years.

They then secretly migrated their people to a better place far away from the Starks to live.

It's just overthinking it.

As William used the eight-eyed giant spider extensively and it entered the market, wizards were surprised to discover that this magical creature... was truly a treasure trove from head to toe!

Profit can drive wizards to kill.

But the eight-eyed giant spider is highly venomous.

So, without any fanfare, Akali's Mystery Shop added the antidote for the Eight-Eyed Giant Spider to its inventory.

In no time, they made a fortune.

William was merely an agent, and the profits were split 30/70 with Professor Snape.

Seventy percent of it belongs to others, and even then, we still have to depend on Professor Snape's attitude.

William is now begging on his knees!

So he's working hard to figure out the ingredients so he can make it himself and not have to work hard as a laborer for others.

Professor Snape, however, had taken precautions, frantically improving the formula and striving to reduce costs, so as not to give William the opportunity to copy it.

William also lamented that the world is going to the dogs and people's hearts are no longer what they used to be.

In this day and age, is there any basic integrity left between people?

However, with their tacit cooperation, more and more wizards are hunting down the eight-eyed giant spider.

Aragog is stuck in the Forbidden Forest, which is full of dangerous magical creatures. It's a natural barrier and very difficult to spot.

Survival becomes much more difficult when the habitat changes.

It will suddenly discover: the world has changed!

Even busier than William... is Hermione.

Her classes had clearly returned to normal, yet she continued to study frantically.

She had already started learning ancient magic script for fourth graders, and William, completely bewildered, continued to work as her private tutor.

Hermione's research on the curse was also not neglected.

Especially after William brought back the opal necklace that Tom had left behind, she spent all her free time studying the magic on it.

Hermione seems to have a real talent for this, even rivaling her super memory.

She can cast spells on a piece of parchment.

The person who signs the contract automatically enters into a contract; if they break it, they will be cursed.

This led William to habitually check Hermione's work every time he graded it.

To avoid signing the agreement only to 'accidentally' agree to a host of unequal treaties, which would be a recipe for disaster amidst laughter and cheers.

Hermione's current goal is to break Voldemort's curse in Defense Against the Dark Arts class.

Annie, on the other hand, is making the most of her time with her new pet.

She has accepted the fact that Silverwing will be sent away.

Anne imagined it growing up, suddenly appearing, and then gracefully riding away on the Thunderbird.

Let those two villains, William and Hermione, regret it...

As agreed with Dumbledore, two weeks before the full moon, William went to see Professor Lupin and gave him the wolfsbane potion.

As he approached the Defense Against the Dark Arts office, about to knock, the door was suddenly opened from the inside.

Snape came out, holding a wine glass that was slightly steaming.

Even without drinking it, William knew Snape had added something new. It reeked of stinky shoes.

Wood soaked his feet in this wolfsbane medicine?!

Upon seeing William, Snape stopped in his tracks, his dark eyes narrowing.

He looked unhappy, as if he had just been upset.

Snape blocked the door, his gaze shifting back and forth between William and the potion.

"So Dumbledore had you make it for Lupin?!"

Professor Snape curled his lips, his face grim. It seemed that William had robbed him of one of his few joys.

William hesitated for a moment, then nodded.

"So you know what he is now, don't you?" Snape suddenly approached, narrowing his eyes and revealing a dangerous look.

"Be careful, you don't know how terrible Lupin is..." Snape's voice was only slightly louder than a whisper.

"You see, he knew perfectly well that Black was an illegal Animagus, but he never said anything. If Granger hadn't found out..." Snape's eyes were cold and empty.

"Also, during his student days, he became a werewolf and almost killed an innocent, excellent, and naive good student... Dumbledore won't tell you about these cruel past events."

William raised an eyebrow. Could this "innocent, excellent, and simple good student" refer to Professor Snape himself?

If that's true, then it's incredibly shameless.

Professor Snape snorted and prepared to leave, but after taking only a couple of steps, he suddenly stopped and said in a gentler tone:

"I made a whole pot of wolfsbane potion. It would be a waste if Lupin didn't drink it."

"..."

"Professor, I'll give it a try and see if I can sell it, but don't get your hopes up too high." William was speechless.

Professor Snape nodded in satisfaction, shook his robes, and revealed an admiring look in his eyes towards William.

William sighed after he had walked away.

The smell of stinky shoes still lingered in the air. If this thing could be sold, William would immediately twist off his... friend Tom's head and use it as a toilet for Snape!

Wait, is he implying that William should buy it himself?

(The pronunciation of "草" is clear and accurate!)

Damn it! I wonder if Mormont's werewolves can drink?

With that thought in mind, William pushed open the door to the Defense Against the Dark Arts office.

"Brother... oops, Professor, it's time to take your medicine."
