A Certain Magical Hogwarts

Chapter 39 Anne and Dumbledore

Chapter 39 Anne and Dumbledore

"Skull shattered, that bastard McClargan!"

George roared angrily from the stands at the Quidditch training ground.

It was already afternoon, and the training ground was crowded with people again, all of them Hufflepuff students.

Fred asked with a worried look, "What should we do? How should we write a letter to Mom?"

"Maybe we shouldn't tell them?" George patted his face, sounding frightened.

William asked, "What did Mrs. Pomfrey say?"

"Mrs. Pomfrey said the stitches would be done quickly, but I'd have to stay at the university hospital for a few nights," George replied.

Madam Pomfrey was very capable; no matter how serious the illness, she could cure it quickly.

Cedric sat to the side, a little nervous about participating in the team selection process.

Not only him, but all the rookies on the field were nervous, after all, the accident had just happened in Gryffindor that morning.

Gryffindor captain Charlie Weasley had his skull fractured, which shows just how dangerous this sport is!

Fred comforted him, "Don't be too nervous, brother. Just give it your all, and you'll be selected."

George added, "Yeah, look at us, we got into the team so easily. You're even a bit stronger than me."

William patted Cedric on the shoulder and laughed, "As long as you don't end up like McCragan, you'll be fine."

Cedric was still trembling.

Qiu closed the book in her hands, smiling brightly, and said, "We all believe in you, Cedric."

Cedric suddenly stood up, as excited as if he had been given some kind of Indian magic potion.

"Qiu, thank you for your encouragement. I'm much better now. Thanks to you, I don't know what I would have done. I'm sure I'll be selected!"

William: "..."

The twin brothers: "..."

What's that saying again—even a simp won't get a house!

An owl flew into the Quidditch training ground.

Soon, a second one flew over.

It's William's owl.

Zhuo Geng stopped next to William, rolled his big yellow eyes, and cooed affectionately.

Drogon was always happy not to see Bobo Tea, and he started pestering William for food.

The owl named Milia stopped not far from William, and was somewhat disappointed not to see Bobo Tea.

It really likes that cat.

George patted Drogon's head; he knew the owl well. During the summer holidays, William had Drogon deliver messages to the Burrow.

He asked in surprise, "Didn't you leave Zhuogeng at home?"

William took a few dried fish out of his pocket, handed them to the owl, and nodded, saying, "That's right, so it flew over from home to deliver the message."

Fred asked in surprise, "What about the letter?"

He didn't see the envelope on Zhuogeng, nor in any other pockets... Could it have fallen on the road?

Seeing that William gave Drogon dried fish but not to her, Miria angrily cooed twice, flapped her wings a few times, and began to lie on the ground pretending to be lame.

It spread its wings and glanced around, finally looking pitifully at Qiu.

With teary eyes, Qiu rummaged through her pockets and gave all her snacks to the poor owl.

The girl urged Cedric and the others to take out all the snacks.

Zhuo Geng looked at the few dried fish in front of him, then glanced at the mountain of snacks in front of Milia, and looked completely bewildered.

Perhaps impressed by Milia's begging skills, it also lay down.

Autumn:"……"

Qiu, who was deceived by Milia, felt as if her intelligence had been thrown on the ground and brutally rubbed and trampled.

William smiled, hugged Zhuo Geng, and pulled out a letter from somewhere.

—It's Anne's letter.

It contained information about her recent situation and inquired about the state of Hogwarts.

Behind the letter was a stack of photos, some of which were of Anne, and some were family portraits of the Stark family.

Her purpose in writing the letter was to get William to use developing chemicals to create a moving photograph.

Before William could finish looking at the photo, George snatched it away.

He distributed the photos to several people present, and William did not stop him.

George raised an eyebrow and said in an extremely exaggerated tone, "William, you actually have a sister!"

William asked in surprise, "What? Didn't I tell you?"

Everyone shook their heads.

Looking at the photo, Qiu smiled and said, "Your sister is really beautiful."

William smiled and said, "That's right, Anne looks like me, of course she's beautiful."

George put his arm around William's shoulder and exclaimed, "From the moment I saw your sister's picture, I knew you were going to be my best friend!"

William squinted and drawled, "George, you want to go to the hospital too? Or should I tell Professor Snape who wrote him the love letter?"

"No, no, please don't tell!" George raised his hand. "But seriously, your sister looks just like you. Why don't you let her come to Gryffindor? I'll take care of her!"

Fred nodded in agreement.

George patted William on the shoulder and laughed, "I can introduce you to my sister Ginny, then we'll be even."

Don't let Ginny's current appearance fool you; she'll definitely be beautiful someday.

Fred laughed heartily and said, "That's a bit difficult. Ginny has been calling him Harry all the time for years."

William raised an eyebrow; he really hadn't expected that there were fangirls in the magical world!

"Hey, William, what kind of look is that?" George said, displeased.

"Oh, Merlin's beard!" Fred exclaimed with an exaggerated expression.

"Since the start of the semester, several girls have confessed their feelings to you, William, but you haven't shown any interest. When you talk about my sister Ginny, you have the same uninterested expression. So that's why..."

Fred looked enlightened, while George, hiding behind Cedric, said fearfully:

"So you're not interested in girls? Are we in danger?"

"..."

"Hey William, we don't discriminate against homosexuals. If you really have that kind of inclination, I can introduce you to my brother Ron, just don't target me."

William pulled out his wand, and George quickly waved his hands in surrender, changing the subject: "Speaking of which, where did you get your letter from?"

Fred looked at Drogon with a puzzled expression.

Zhuo Geng had finished eating the dried fish, but he didn't have a pocket with the envelope on him.

William stood up, and Drogon immediately left his arm and flew toward the castle.

Cedric asked curiously, "Isn't Drogon going home?"

William laughed and said, "You asked where the letter was? Didn't you see the golden ring on Drogon's claws?"

It was enchanted with a Seamless Extension Charm and numerous protective spells, as well as a Secrecy Charm to prevent the letter from being stolen by a wizard.

"You didn't set that up, did you?" George said.

William shook his head and said, "I don't have that ability now; it was set up by Professor Dumbledore."

"Dumbledore... which means..."

"In other words," William said cheerfully, "Drogon is next to deliver a message to Dumbledore."

"Anne and Professor Dumbledore correspond every day, and I see that she addresses her as 'Dear Grandpa Albus' in her letters... George, if you want to pursue my sister, go ahead, I won't stop you."

However, whether Dumbledore will break three of his legs is another matter.
