A Certain Magical Hogwarts

Chapter 38 Quidditch Training Ground Brawl

Chapter 38 Quidditch Training Ground Brawl

Seeing Hagrid's distress, the three offered a few words of comfort before taking their leave and walking back to the castle.

Their pockets were heavy with rock cakes, and out of politeness, none of the three felt comfortable refusing.

Walking down the street, William asked, "What do you all think?"

Cedric shook his head: "William, Cerberus couldn't have been stolen from the Department of Magical Creatures at the Ministry of Magic."

I've never heard my father mention anything about a three-headed dog or any other magical creature being seized.

Cedric's father is Amos Diggory, who works in the Department of Fantastic Creatures and is the spokesperson who gave the interview.

He would tell his son Cedric everything that happened at the Ministry of Magic!

However, Cedric had never heard of a three-headed dog being found before the attack.

Most importantly, after the day of the attack, he never heard his father mention the attack on his department.

Was a gag order issued that day?

The key issue isn't here either. The attack clearly happened on August 1st, so why was it only recently revealed by The Daily Prophet?

What exactly is the Ministry of Magic hiding?

William found things were starting to get interesting.

The three discussed their way to the Quidditch training ground, where the Gryffindor selections were still underway.

But it wasn't the cheerful scene I had imagined. The whole training ground was noisy and chaotic, as if a fight was taking place.

"What's wrong? Did something happen again?" Qiu asked William, puzzled.

"I don't know." William shook his head, then sighed, "Qiu, next time something happens at school, don't look to me. It wasn't me who did it!"

"But I've noticed that wherever you go, something always seems to happen."

"..."

"The situation seems serious," Cedric said gravely after looking around for a moment.

He appeared very worried, but deep down he was incredibly happy.

While it's not a very nice way to put it, Cedric, as a rival, naturally hoped that the Gryffindor team's selection process would encounter even the slightest problem.

Charlie Weasley's strength is universally acknowledged throughout the school. Professor McGonagall has boasted more than once that Gryffindor might produce another national team member!

With a captain like that, no house will underestimate Gryffindor.

William, Cedric, and Cho managed to squeeze into the crowd. Someone was indeed injured; it was a girl named Angelina Jensen.

Angelina, along with Cedric and the twin brothers, were all second-year students. She had long black hair tied into a long braided ponytail, making her look extremely tall and beautiful.

But at this moment, he was lying on the lawn.

George's nose was covered in blood, as if he had suffered an impact.

Fred grabbed Angelina's shoulders, shook her violently, and shouted her name.

The girl fainted in a daze.

Well, William thinks it's more likely she was just dizzy from being shaken by Fred.

Fred stood up angrily, ready to punch Cormac McCragan.

Qiu pulled a Gryffindor girl aside and asked her about the whole story.

It's very simple.

Angelina was competing for the Chaser position. She threw ten balls and made eight beautiful ones, earning her a place on the college team on the spot with Charlie Weasley.

Angelina Jolie, who is probably of Star-Lord and Indian descent, excitedly stood on the training field and started dancing.

Everything was going well until McClargan stole a Comet 250 from somewhere while everyone was doing square dancing.

Confident in his flying skills, McClargan lost control and crashed into Angelina ten seconds after taking off.

Angelina was surrounded by a crowd as she danced a dance with a distinctly exotic grassland style.

Give me a look

Hot and spicy.

The horse-taming man

You are mighty and strong.

The galloping horse was like a swift wind...

McClagon is indeed like a gale... Face the gale!

Angelina was thrown into the air, but fortunately there were many people around, which gave her enough time to recover.

George wasn't so lucky; his nose was hit by the oak pole of Comet 250, and a lot of blood gushed out like a babbling brook.

Fred stormed up to McClargan, but everyone tried to pull him away!

If another fight breaks out, Gryffindor's house score will definitely reach a negative 100.

This score is not far from the all-time low, Professor McGonagall will probably be furious!

With paper stuffed in his nose, George mumbled reassuringly, "Okay, okay, Fred, I'm fine."

"Brother, don't get so worked up, my injury will heal quickly."

George thought Fred was avenging him, and he was so moved that he dropped the paper and his nose started bleeding profusely again.

Fred was stopped, and McLagan's courage seemed to have returned.

He began to loudly berate Charlie.

"You're the captain, and you can't even take care of everyone's safety. This is your responsibility."

"What? Say that again." Charlie Weasley rolled up his sleeves, revealing his muscular physique.

Compared to Charlie, McClargan was like a skinny rib.

"Is this guy crazy?" Cedric said.

"Probably—he burned off Eloise's hair during class," Qiu replied.

Charlie, the team captain, had completely lost his patience. He shouted, "Mr. McClargan, please leave. According to the rules, only second-year students can participate in the Quidditch selection."

"If you don't leave, I will suggest to Professor McGonagall that you be permanently banned from the Gryffindor Quidditch team selections."

McClagan's face flushed red. He took a few steps back and sneered, "Trying to kick me out? Forbidding me from the selection? I'll tell my uncle he knows the head of the Auror office at the Ministry of Magic..."

He cursed, "You've lost your chance to win the championship once again!"

McClargan pushed through the crowd but tripped, and William saw that it was Eloise's outstretched foot.

Her hair had grown back, and she was still wearing the lion hat that Professor McGonagall had given her, which she seemed to really like.

McClargan stood up, dusted himself off, and suddenly jogged over to pick up the baseball bat that Fred had dropped not far away.

For reasons only he knew, McClargan swung his bat hard at the Quaffle, sending it flying.

Charlie was checking on Angelina's injuries when a red Quaffle, with a beautiful trajectory, struck him on the head, knocking him unconscious...

The crowd screamed, and chaos erupted once again.

The Quaffle bounced high into the air and hurtled towards William.

William took out his wand, intending to use Split Split, but changed his mind at the last minute.

"Wadi Vasish!"

Under William's control, the Quaffle veered sharply and shot rapidly toward McCragan's thigh.

When McClargan saw Charlie being knocked down, he was still thinking of quickly escaping back to the castle when the Quaffle hit his thigh. He tripped and fell to the ground, rolling a few times before crashing into a club.

Chaos broke out in the Quidditch arena. Some people went to leave the training ground to call Mrs. Pomfrey, while others checked on Angelina and Charlie's injuries.

As for McLagan... he screamed as he was dragged back into the crowd by his legs.

He started sweating profusely.
