A Certain Magical Hogwarts

Chapter 355 So hungry

Chapter 355 So Hungry (Happy 520 everyone!)

night,

Sofitel Hotel, Airizmira Martaras.

With a creak.

The door was opened a crack.

A furtive figure peered through the crack in the door, carefully observing for a moment. Realizing no one was around, the figure immediately opened the door and shone lightly across the corridor.

Hermione, carrying a small blue lunchbox, knocked on the door of the next room.

But no one answered the door.

She glanced warily at her parents' room at the far end of the corner, then rang the doorbell again.

Still no one answered the door.

Hermione's eyes darted around, and she quickly pulled out her little darling—Wallie, the Bowtruckle—from her pocket.

WALL-E was sleeping when he was woken up. He sat in the girl's palm, rubbed his eyes, and yawned deeply.

"Hurry, WALL-E, open the door for me," Hermione whispered. "I'll give you a treat tomorrow, fresh beetles, you can eat your fill!"

Upon hearing that the turtles would provide a feast, the hunchbacked tree stalk shook its head vigorously to clear its mind.

It stood wobbly on the doorknob, its slender arm inserted into the lock.

Hermione waited for five seconds... but the door still hadn't opened.

What's going on...? Hermione frowned slightly.

Had William cast a protective spell on the lock because I had tried to pry it open too many times?

"No, no! It's definitely not out of fear of me. Right, it's out of fear of the Aurors!"

"Clegane doesn't look like a good person at all, and he even said he wanted to bring Costa over," Hermione muttered to herself.

"Why didn't William tell me? He should have at least told me about this."

Ever since Furong arrived, he's been acting strangely..."

In just a few seconds, Hermione had already brainstormed and imagined a 120-episode afternoon TV series with palace intrigue, mistresses rising to power, betrayal, and revenge as its main themes.

At the end of the story, Hermione is contemplating how to take revenge on William and Fleur.

She might need to learn the most terrible curses for this, though they are dark magic, but the Hogwarts library certainly has them!

She would have a sudden flash of inspiration at the most important moment for the two of them, and then disappear forever, becoming a witch he could never touch in his life!

She also wants...

Snapped!

The Bowtruckle fell off the doorknob and landed on the floor. It lay sprawled on the carpet, humming softly in a swirling snoring.

"..."

Hermione picked up the Bowtruckle and angrily shook it, but WALL-E showed no signs of waking up. He even licked his lips, as if dreaming of plenty of fresh beetles.

"The fresh turtles are all gone, they've replaced them with dried turtles from 1982," Hermione grumbled.

She drew her wand and aimed it at the lock.

Click, the door opened.

"William," Hermione said softly, peeking out of the door as she opened it, "I'm coming in!"

She carefully went inside and then quickly locked the door from the inside.

The lights were on inside, but William wasn't in the room.

Hermione wandered around several times, even checking the bathroom, but couldn't find the boy.

Hermione knew William's habits very well; he usually wouldn't leave the lights on when he left a room.

Unless he went out with someone else and forgot to turn off the lights.

Hermione, with her exceptional investigative abilities, reached out and touched the bed again... It was completely cold.

Clearly, William has been away from the house for quite some time!

It's 9 PM.

But he wasn't in the room!

Hermione slammed the lunchbox down on the table, snorted, and said angrily, "Not coming home tonight, huh?!"

This was the first time Hermione had encountered such a situation, despite having been here so many times.

She started imagining short films again, and this time, at the end of the story, she not only learned to curse, but also the Unforgivable Curse.

She defeated Furong and won the battle, but lost in life.

Should we go and knock on Hibiscus's door?

Hermione hesitated for two seconds, then shook her head. It would be too awkward if she found William inside; she wouldn't have any room to explain herself to him.

She decided to wait here first!

Hermione sat down on the edge of the bed and picked up a book from the bedside table.

Nico's notes were all written in French.

Hermione was confused by what she read, so she switched to an ancient magical text.

After opening the book, a series of words were projected onto the room.

Hermione read for a while longer; the words seemed to possess a magical power. She grew increasingly sleepy, and soon, with her head drooping, she fell asleep on William's bed.

After an unknown amount of time, Hermione heard a series of slapping sounds near her ears.

The noisy knocking woke her from her sleep.

"William, you're back?"

Hermione rubbed her eyes sleepily, only to find that the boy hadn't returned; instead, the sound was coming from under the pillow.

Hermione hurriedly lifted the pillow, and there was a gold safety watch underneath.

"..."

William always carried it with him; if he took it off, it meant... he himself was inside the watch.

Oh no, she completely forgot about that!

Hermione placed the safety watch on the table and went up the stairs into this wondrous space.

Sure enough, William was immediately spotted standing in the hall, waving his wand.

William heard footsteps, turned around, and saw Hermione.

He paused, then exclaimed in surprise, "Hermione, how did you get in? I tried so many times, but I couldn't open the door."

I thought there was something wrong with the Seamless Stretch Spell...

"I don't know either, okay..." Hermione said shyly, admitting honestly, "I just fell asleep on your bed and might have rolled onto the safety gauge."

"Sister, my sister! I've been calling for half an hour! My voice is hoarse!" William said speechlessly. "Can't you hear me?"

"Who told you to hide the safety watch under your pillow?" Hermione muttered under her breath. "I thought you..."

"You thought... I didn't come home last night?" William glanced sideways at Hermione. "Or did you go to Fleur's room?"

Hermione, whose little scheme had been exposed, shamelessly said, "Well! You said that, I didn't."

William shook his head and looked at the increasingly bold and outspoken girl with a helpless smile.

He suddenly reached out and pinched her delicate nose, saying, "Don't overthink it. If I go out, I'll definitely let you know. I won't stay out all night."

Hermione hummed twice, her eyes brimming with undisguised joy, and a pair of dimples appeared on her face.

"What are you doing here?" she asked.

"Let's give that Dementor a home." William released Hermione's nose, took her hand, and walked downstairs.

William then carved out a new room in this space to house his magical creatures.

Hermione entered the room and immediately saw a huge cat tree in the corner, with the Basilisk coiled around it, flicking its tongue and staring at the two of them.

However, its eyes were covered by a magical shield, so it posed no great danger.

On the other side, there was a lush devil's web, from which hung a large black robe.

As soon as the Dementor saw someone enter, it roared incessantly, its black robe spinning wildly and crashing against the surrounding tempered glass.

"Can I use it to practice the Patronus Charm?" Hermione asked.

"Of course, otherwise why would I catch it? It's just for you to practice on the side," William laughed.

"So you're going to be busy this summer. You'll have to learn at least one of the Disillusionment Charm and the Patronus Charm."

William originally wanted to find a Boggart for Hermione to practice with, but those things weren't easy to find.

The Dementors' power comes from human emotions. If they don't eat these for a long time, they won't starve, but their power will weaken.

In that situation, the danger would be greatly reduced, making it perfect for Hermione to practice on. Using Dementors directly as tools—only William could provide such a luxurious "tool."

"I wonder what my Patronus will be?" Hermione asked, chin in hand.

"Guardian deities can take many forms, from ordinary animals to magical creatures, and their forms generally reflect the personality of the wizard."

William waved his wand, and a small sea eagle landed on Hermione's shoulder.

"Of course, if the caster has experienced some degree of mental trauma or emotional upheaval, such as falling in love, the guardian spirit's form may change."

Hermione nodded thoughtfully.

"By the way, Hermione, what brings you here now?" William asked, puzzled. "You're not just here to check on me, are you?"

"Of course not. I noticed you didn't eat well at noon and dinner, so I brought you some food." Hermione smiled and held up the lunchbox.

William not only didn't eat well, but he was also terrified after being tricked by Anne.

William eventually sat obediently next to Hermione, otherwise he wouldn't be enjoying such a high-class treatment as having a midnight snack delivered to him.

William took the lunchbox, opened it, and raised an eyebrow. He picked up a thick, hard "weapon"!

Isn't it a murder weapon?

Hermione brought a French long stick that was so stiff you could use it to play ball!

French baguette, also known as baguette...you can tell how dangerous this bread is just from its name!

"Oh, I didn't know. Anne told me it was delicious and crunchy." Hermione took the bread from William. "I tried it too, and it really is delicious."

"They are indeed quite soft when they're fresh out of the oven," William said. "They'll harden if left out for too long, especially in humid places."

"Never mind then," Hermione said hastily. "I'll go buy you a new one now! It should still be open..."

"Too much trouble." William patted Hermione's head, took the stiff baguette from her hand, cut it into thin slices with a knife, and ate it in small bites.

"I'll try some too." Hermione picked up a crumb of bread, put it in her mouth, chewed it, and said with a bright smile, "It's alright, it's not that bad."

William, holding Hermione's hand, looked at the Dementors and mumbled, "Little Caiqi... hurry up! Why are you so slow!"

Upon hearing William's words, the Dementor in its black robe, which had been spinning incessantly, stopped spinning, lay down on the glass, and stared at William and Hermione in solitude.

The air was filled with a sweet, lingering fragrance.

It patted its belly.

So hungry...
