A Certain Magical Hogwarts

Chapter 347 This is the Hermione I love the most!
Hermione's face showed a look of horror upon hearing Roy's voice.
William had seen this signature kind of panic a few times... Hermione encountered a problem she couldn't solve, worried about failing the exam, and heard that the final exam might be canceled...
Especially the last one. When the rumors were rampant last semester, Hermione was so terrified she couldn't eat or sleep, asking William seven times a day, "How can the exams be canceled?!"
Therefore, the girl's current fear is definitely real, not feigned!
"Uncle Roy is here! What do we do? What do we do?!" Hermione said in a panic.
"So what?" William said nonchalantly. "Let them come."
"You're only wearing a bathrobe, and I'm just in my pajamas. It's late at night, in your room. What if someone sees us?!"
Hermione's words made William realize that it did seem inappropriate.
When it's just the two of them, they're basically used to it and don't have many concerns. If Roy sees them, it could easily cause unnecessary misunderstandings.
In a more serious scenario, Iris could chase William for eight blocks with an Uzi submachine gun.
There was another knock at the door. Roy urged, "William, what are you doing? Open the door!"
"Oh, I'm packing. Give me a song's time," William said loudly.
Hermione had already run to the window, and when she looked down, she saw that it was the fifth floor. Hermione then tried to hide under the bed, but it was a carved round wooden bed with thick partitions around it.
She yanked back the covers, trying to hide under them and conceal herself. (I've done this stupid thing before (doge))
"Hermione, you're hiding in the bed, isn't that even more inexplicable?" William couldn't help but exclaim, "You're an expert!"
"What should we do then?" Hermione asked anxiously.
"Are you a witch or not?"
William sighed. Hermione tends to forget everything and do bizarre things when she gets anxious.
"Hermione, from now on, wherever you go, always carry your wand and that safety watch with you. Also, I'll start teaching you the Disillusionment Charm tomorrow."
"Oh, I understand." Hermione nodded quickly.
William took out his wand, tapped the girl, and cast an illusion spell on her.
He grabbed Hermione by the shoulders, helped her sit down in her place, and then walked across the room and opened the door.
Roy walked in, looked around, and asked, "What were you doing in the room just now? I think I heard Hermione's voice."
"That's the sound of running water in the bathroom. I just finished showering," William lied.
He conjured two chairs and then sat down gently.
William used his own wand, which was still enchanted by the wand registry, but he wasn't worried at all about the French Ministry of Magic causing trouble.
At least for this summer, William is a privileged class in France. As long as he doesn't do anything "Azkabanian," no one will send a warning letter to a young wizard who has just saved Paris.
Besides, William has already proven that he can cast spells without this wand.
In that case, the French Ministry of Magic might as well go with the flow and let him use this monitored wand.
The Aurors at least knew which spells William used, so they weren't completely blind to them.
Roy was already used to the wonders of magic. After settling into his chair, he suddenly didn't know how to start the conversation.
"What's wrong?" William waved his wand and poured Roy a glass of water.
"I don't think it's a big deal, but Lyanna insisted that I ask her..." Roy immediately shifted the blame onto Lyanna.
"What's the deal with that French girl?"
"Sophie Costa... that was really a misunderstanding." William quickly explained Rita's reasoning.
This was the nth time he had explained it; he had previously received inquiry letters from Cedric and his group.
Otherwise, William wouldn't be staying up so late to write back to these people.
William suddenly realized that he really needed to clarify things with Rita, otherwise, they would keep going back to the beginning of the previous chapters.
"Oh, so it was fake." Roy breathed a sigh of relief.
His prepared educational speeches and a series of prison guides for outlaw Tom were all ineffective.
Roy can go back and report now... Wait, with this extra time, he can go find Iris and play a couple of thrilling rounds of Ludo!
Wonderful!
"I'll be going now." Roy said without wasting a second.
But as he approached the door, he turned around, hesitated, then turned back, then back again, then back again… over and over, like a carousel.
William waited two minutes before Roy finally made up his mind and asked in a low voice, "William, do you really like Hermione?"
William could feel a rapid breathing sound coming from behind him.
William paused for a moment, not answering directly, but said gently, "Hermione... I remember the first time we met, it was that summer. She had messy hair, big front teeth like a rabbit, and was carrying a thick encyclopedia as she walked around."
Because of the conflict with Annie, she also stopped talking to me.
Later, after the crucible exploded, she finally spoke to me, her eyes always sparkling with curiosity, while she deliberately maintained the haughtiness of a swan.
She can be arrogant at times and loves to show off. It's hard to say whether this personality trait is good or bad, but it certainly makes it difficult for her to make friends.
Sure enough, after school started and she went to Gryffindor, no one wanted to talk to her. All alone, she had no choice but to come to me and follow me to the library.
If she doesn't turn to me, who else can she turn to? Besides me, her friend, how many other people does she know?
But Hermione was just too outstanding. She was smart, hardworking, and brave... Even when she only knew one glowing charm at Gringotts, she would still hold her wand and stand in front of me.
I taught her how to fight, and even though she was terrified and exhausted, she would grit her teeth and persevere. Paris was so dangerous, yet she still refused to leave…”
William suddenly laughed and said, "In the end, she's just a simple girl, a very, very good girl... That's the kind of Hermione I like the most."
"Then you probably really like her." Roy smiled. "If you like her, you should take action... like asking her out late at night!"
Roy, acting as someone with experience, offered William advice.
William was stunned for a moment, glancing behind him. They'd already arranged to meet in a room... Could that be considered "arranging a date"?
"I have to go now, I need to rush back to report to Lyanna." Roy opened the door, and just as he was about to leave, he turned back and said earnestly, "William, I have to remind you, cherish this."
"I don't want to see you two fall out and ruin my long-standing friendship with Iris."
You only lost your love, but I lost my most precious friendship.
William: "..."
Roy started rambling like a character from a romance novel the moment he opened his mouth.
Roy left, and William waved his wand, breaking Hermione's illusion spell.
Hermione sat in the chair, head down, fidgeting and remaining silent.
After Roy's interference, the two remained silent in an awkward atmosphere.
A moment later, William got up and sat down next to the girl. He picked up his pen and prepared to continue writing the letter.
Hermione's eyes welled up with tears, and she said in a sob, "William, there's something I need to tell you..."
"I know what you're going to say... It was you who became me and kissed Costa," William said calmly.
"How did you know?" Hermione looked up.
“Costa said everyone saw it, so I went to the Ministry of Magic to investigate and looked at some people’s memories.” William looked at Hermione. “Everyone definitely saw it.”
The girl, sitting cross-legged next to William, clutched the hem of her clothes and said with her head down, "I'm sorry... I'm so sorry for the trouble I caused you with my stubbornness back then."
This time, I really cried.
It was a very sad feeling.
William reached out and pinched Hermione's cheek, saying softly, "I don't mind the trouble, just don't lie to me."
Hermione, her eyes brimming with tears, clung tightly to William, crying out, "No... I will never... lie to you again, and I will never hide anything from you again."
William embraced her, inhaling the scent of her brown hair and feeling the soft trembling of her body. He sighed and slowly released her.
William handed over a piece of parchment and said softly, "This is what I got back from Clegane."
Hermione took the paper, her fingers gripping it tightly. She was first shocked, then surprised, and finally overjoyed.
It turns out that it was a parchment left by Hermione in the Louvre, thinking she would never find it again. All she saw was a simple note: William Hermione was here!
William turned around and continued writing his reply to Hagrid while hunched over the table.
Hermione watched William's retreating figure, her vision blurring again. She clutched the parchment to her chest, biting her lip gently, afraid to make a sound and disturb the tranquility.
