A Certain Magical Hogwarts

Chapter 253 Trelawney's Teaching Accident

Chapter 253 Trelawney's Teaching Accident

After Professor Trelawney finished fooling everyone, she fell silent for a long time, her long emerald earrings shimmering in the firelight.

She would shake her head occasionally, nod occasionally, and her facial expressions were exceptionally rich, sometimes happy, sometimes sad.

I didn't know; I thought she had DID and had thirty personalities.

Of course, it could also be just filler time to get through the lesson.

Just when everyone was getting impatient, she suddenly spoke up:

"I just used my third eye to look into the future. This year we will learn various basic divination methods. The first semester will be spent interpreting tea leaves."

By the way, darling.

She suddenly said to Heloise of Gryffindor, "Beware of wizards whose names contain the letter L."

Eloise glanced at McClargan with fear.

In first grade, McLagan set her hair on fire during a Transfiguration class, nearly disfiguring her.

Although it's almost like disfigurement now, Eloise's face has started to break out in a lot of pimples.

It looks like a field that has been plowed out.

Eloise moved her chair a little further away from McLagan.

Professor Trelawney continued, "As per our previous plan, we will complete the course on interpreting tea this semester."

Unfortunately, a cold snap in October can cause severe colds.

I will lose my voice, forcing the class to close.

Our classes will resume after a brief pause.

"In the summer term," Professor Trelawney continued, "we will learn about fire signs and the crystal ball."

At the end of the academic year, everyone will be gone forever. Of course, I'm not referring to the graduating students.

Many students laughed out loud, as everyone knew that each Defense Against the Dark Arts professor could not serve for more than two years.

"Tsk tsk, if I were you, I wouldn't laugh. I meant two people are leaving forever!"

After she finished speaking, there was a tense silence in the classroom, but Professor Trelawney seemed completely oblivious to it.

"I think, darling," she suddenly said to William.

"Could you please bring me that teapot from the shelf?"

William nodded, stood up, took a huge teapot from the shelf, and placed it on the table in front of Professor Trelawney.

"Thank you, darling. By the way, the thing you don't want to see—will happen before Christmas."

William raised an eyebrow.

"Now, I want you to pair up. Take a teacup from the shelf and come to me. I will pour tea into the cup."

Then I sat down and drank tea until only tea leaves were left in the cup.

Shake the tea leaves three times with your left hand, then turn the teacup upside down and place it on the saucer; wait until the last bit of tea has been poured out, then give your teacup to your partner to interpret.

You can use pages five and six of the book "Seeing the Future Through the Fog" to interpret the shape of tea leaves.

I will walk among you, to help you and to guide you.

After William and Autumn filled their teacups with tea, they returned to their own tables.

William looked at the tea leaves floating on the boiling water, then frowned slightly.

Damn it!

It was covered in white mold and had already turned to rot!

William peeked into Qiu's teacup again; it was moldy too.

"What's wrong, child? Drink up!"

Trelawney turned her gaze to William.

"Tea tasting is an art that requires a calm mind. This is a fine tea that I have treasured for many years. It tastes delicious."

"Professor, I think you've been treasuring this tea for too long; it might have gone moldy."

William's voice wasn't loud, but all the students heard it.

puff!

McClargan spat out the water in his mouth. He had just felt thirsty and had drunk several glasses.

He used too much force and sprayed a mouthful of water onto Eloise's face.

The girl looked miserable, wishing she could pour the moldy tea leaves into McLagan's mouth and poison him to death.

Everyone looked at Professor Trelawney with awe. Had she already seen all of this with her "divine eye"?

So, does the "L" in the name really refer to McLagan?

Professor Trelawney remained unfazed, shaking her cloak over her shoulders with an air of superiority.

"Child, that's not mold, it's just tea fuzz," she insisted.

William rolled his eyes.

Tea hairs are the fine downy hairs on the tips of tea buds, while the middle part of the tea leaves is covered with white threads.

What else could this be but mold?

Even with Professor Trelawney's words, no one dared to drink the tea anymore.

Professor Trelawney had no choice but to reluctantly take out the new tea she had just bought a few days ago from the cabinet.

This tea is meant to be enjoyed slowly by myself when I have nothing else to do.

That's way too expensive!

This tea was indeed of good quality. William took two sips and immediately recognized it as Lipton premium black iced tea.

When tea is mentioned, many people tend to think that people abroad drink tea from China.

William only discovered this was not the case after he arrived in England.

Britain does not produce tea, yet it boasts some of the world's most famous tea brands.

China is the birthplace of tea and the world's largest producer and consumer of tea, yet it lacks an international tea brand.

There's a saying in the industry: "80,000 tea companies in China can't compete with one Lipton."

In China, a market worth hundreds of billions, an annual sales volume of two to three billion is considered a large-scale tea company. However, in the UK, which does not produce tea, the annual sales volume of a single brand like Lipton is as high as 20 billion.

Of course, if the "tea ladies" on WeChat could unite, they could probably form the tea company with the highest market value in no time.

William finished his tea quickly.

As Professor Trelawney had taught him, he shook his little hand and flung the liquid out.

In a sense, it had already completely taken on the shape of William.

He and Qiu exchanged teacups.

"Alright," Qiu asked. "What did you see in my teacup?"

"Hmm..." William strained to see what pattern the clump of tea leaves in the cup was.

Even the most talented painter can only create paintings, and William couldn't understand what the pattern in the cup was.

"It looks like a nebula, that's right, it's the M78 Nebula! This means that with the help of someone named Ultraman, you will find the right direction and reach the pinnacle of life," William said, making things up.

Qiu glanced at William suspiciously, then stared at his teacup.

"Oh, Merlin! A ball—a Quaffle!" Cho exclaimed. "This means that Ravenclaw will continue to win the Quidditch Cup under your leadership!"

"That makes sense. If you went to take the divination exam now, you could probably get an O," William laughed.

William then exchanged cups with the other students, imitating Professor Trelawney and, like a charlatan, making predictions for everyone.

William suddenly realized that he could open a fortune-telling stall at Hogwarts and help people predict their marriage prospects, which would surely bring him a fortune.

Professor Trelawney had been asleep for five minutes when she was awakened by the noise.

She emerged from the darkness, staring at William with hostile eyes.

The reason she was unhappy was most likely because she was reluctant to part with her precious tea leaves, or perhaps she was just grumpy when she woke up.

"Child, let me see, I'll help you look at your future!" Professor Trelawney snatched the cup from William's hand.

Professor Trelawney stared at the teacup as she turned it counterclockwise.

"Grape... my dear, you are about to face the greatest crisis of your life!" Professor Trelawney exclaimed.

"Professor, um..."

Professor Trelawney ignored William and continued, "A big stick...an attack. Darling, darling, this is no lucky teacup..."

Everyone stared in disbelief at Professor Trelawney, who turned her teacup one last time, gasped, and then screamed.

Professor Trelawney immediately sat down in an empty armchair, her gleaming hand resting on her heart, her eyes tightly closed.

"My dear child—Mr. Stark—my poor, dear child—no—it's better not to say it—no—don't ask me…"

"What's wrong, Professor?" McClargan asked immediately.

"My dear," Professor Trelawney's large eyes opened dramatically as she stared at William.

"You have a bad omen!"

"An ominous sign?"

“Ominous sign, my dear, a terrible omen!” Professor Trelawney exclaimed.

"Whips, handcuffs, candles!" Professor Trelawney glared at William menacingly, threateningly. "That means you'll be kidnapped, imprisoned, and tortured!"

Eloise weakly raised her hand, her face contorted in a mournful expression.

"Professor, um... William is holding my cup!"

Professor Trelawney suddenly stopped talking, sat in her chair, and seemed to have fallen asleep.

An awkward silence hung in the air.

Merlin, a teaching accident has occurred.

William then remembered a language arts teacher from his previous life.

In class, she spent a long time explaining option B, only to realize that she had read the wrong line and the answer was actually C.

What's most impressive is that she came up with another reasonable explanation.

William even suspected that if she gave another answer, she could still give a perfectly reasonable explanation.

Talent can be found everywhere.

Professor Trelawney is such a talented person.
