A Certain Magical Hogwarts

Chapter 24 Snape Takes You Through Ghost Stories

Chapter 24 Snape Takes You Through Ghost Stories

Cedric pulled a piece of parchment from his pocket, covered with dense writing.

"Here you go, this is a map of Hogwarts that I've compiled."

The contents of the parchment were all conclusions he drew from his own experience and long-term observation.

If you know it by heart, it's enough to handle most stairs.

It's not very useful for seasoned veterans, but it's incredibly helpful for freshmen.

Because their daily lives consist of either getting lost or being on the road to getting lost.

William took it and examined it carefully, then said, "Thank you. I got lost this morning, but luckily I ran into Mrs. Lorris."

"Who did I run into?" Cedric asked, looking completely bewildered.

William quickly recounted what had just happened.

"Incredible," Cedric clicked his tongue. "Your Boba tea, could it be Mrs. Lorris's long-lost child?"

William glanced at Boba, who was eating dried fish, and chuckled, "How could that be? Hogwarts is so far from my house. If Mrs. Norris gave birth to kittens, do you think Filch would abandon them?"

"No!" Cedric affirmed.

Although Filch was a stern man, he was particularly fond of Mrs. Lorris.

He suddenly laughed and said, "If the twins knew, they would be very envious."

"Let me tell you, last year they were caught by Mrs. Lorris many times while out at night, and the two of them almost poisoned that cat several times!"

"I bet Mrs. Lorris won't eat anything from a stranger." William recalled the cat's expression earlier.

Cedric nodded: "That's true. Mrs. Lorris only eats Filch's food and nothing else..."

He suddenly stood up and walked in a certain direction.

Autumn, dressed in a sky-blue wizard's robe, slowly walked into the restaurant.

Cedric pulled out another parchment scroll, which looked more exquisite than the one William had, with a staircase diagram thoughtfully drawn on the back with a quill pen.

His face was flushed, his movements were lewd, his smile was filthy, and his eyes were darting around... (William's perspective)

The joy of being a simp is so dull.

William held the parchment thoughtfully.

He suddenly discovered a business opportunity!

Even a wizard as intelligent as him can get lost, let alone others?

Why not create a Hogwarts map that includes all the changes in road conditions and can quickly show the shortest route to a certain location!

This is the Hogwarts version of the Gaode Map!

Once the two were seated, William told Cedric his thoughts.

Cedric turned his attention away from Qiu and thought for a moment before saying, "This is difficult. It requires very powerful Transfiguration skills, as well as the help of many other disciplines."

William nodded. "The two of us definitely can't do it alone; we'll need to find others to help. By the way, where are George and Fred?"

Cedric grinned mischievously. "Last night, Professor McGonagall dragged them into her office, gave them a long lecture, and then subjected them to other punishments. They're probably still in bed."

"Should you inform them about making the map, or should I do it?" William asked.

Cedric said, "I'll go. The first class is Herbs, which we Hufflepuffs and Gryffindors will have together."

Qiu sat silently eating her breakfast beside the two of them.

She didn't interrupt.

As a first-year wizard, she knew almost nothing about magic and couldn't be of much help in this matter.

However, she will learn quickly.

This is Ravenclaw.

……

……

After the three finished breakfast, they walked together toward the classroom.

At a certain intersection, William and Cho parted ways with Cedric.

Before leaving, he gave William a look that said, "Good luck."

Words like "greasy," "old bat," "black underwear," and "Mudblood" are all taboo for Snape, yet he used two of them together last night during the sorting of the Hatter.

Snape will definitely cause trouble for William today.

If it were just these things, it wouldn't be so bad. But then Snape was "bewitched" by Milk, and he must be harboring a lot of resentment right now, desperately needing someone to release it.

As the first wizard to attend his class today, William will inevitably be the first to bear the brunt of the bloodshed!

The Potions class was held in a basement, which was much colder and darker than the main castle building.

Glass jars lined the walls, containing various animal specimens preserved in formalin; to the untrained eye, one might mistake them for a medical school.

Bobo Tea, with an air of nonchalance, followed William to the door and was greeted by a floating Persian cat corpse.

With a "meow," its fur stood on end, and it turned and ran!

Bobocha squatted in the distance on the corridor, refusing to go in no matter what. William had no choice but to leave it where it was, and he and Qiu went into the classroom together.

Not long after, Snape, wearing a large black cloak, strode into the classroom, and the temperature in the room seemed to drop a few degrees.

He squinted and looked around, picked up the roster, and began calling out names.

When William's name was called, he drew out the sound and gave him a death stare, as if he were about to pour formaldehyde into his wizard's robes!

The wooden door was suddenly pushed open; William's roommates, Bradley and the others, were late.

Marcos Belby stammered, "Sorry, Professor, we're lost..."

Snape interrupted coldly, "I thought that anyone with an IQ higher than a troll wouldn't get lost! Looks like I overestimated Ravenclaw's students."

I should perhaps suggest to the principal that the admission standards be raised appropriately.

No one spoke; the only sound was the burning of torches.

Bradley and his three companions stood there, unsure of what to do.

Snape roared, "Find a seat right now! Don't stand here like idiots. You're lowering the IQ of the whole classroom!"

Amidst the commotion, Snape looked at William: "Stark, why didn't you help your classmates find their way this morning? Would their lateness have made you look good?"

Because of you, Ravenclaw loses a point!

William and Autumn exchanged a glance, both speechless.

Snape gave a satisfied hum, looked up at the class, his eyes cold and empty.

"You have come here to learn the intricate science and rigorous process of potion-making."

He spoke in a voice that was almost a whisper, but everyone could hear every word he said.

"Since there are no silly wands being waved here, many of you won't believe this is magic."

I don't expect you to truly appreciate the beauty of that slow-cooking pot, its white smoke rising and its fragrant aroma wafting out. You won't truly understand the wondrous magic of the fluid that flows into people's veins, captivating their hearts and minds and making them lose their senses.

I can teach you how to increase your reputation, cultivate glory, and even prevent death—but there's one condition: you must not be the kind of fools I often encounter.

William suddenly discovered that Snape had the potential to tell horror stories.

If he started a radio show called "Snape Tells You Ghost Stories," he would definitely succeed!
