A Certain Magical Hogwarts

Chapter 16: Shaking with anger and crying...

In general, raiding Slytherin's carriage was no easy task.

The biggest problem lies in managing time.

The smoke bombs have a limited duration of effect, and we must remain constantly vigilant against the prefects of each college.

William and his men did not want to be discovered, so they had to send a few people to set a trap and temporarily block the passage from the chief's carriage to this side.

This is the job of Cedric, Fred, and Lee Jordan.

The fire smoke bomb hit the carriage wall, and a large amount of white smoke billowed from the Slytherin carriage, while the entire corridor was also covered in smoke.

This is to confuse the students and prevent other students from thinking there is a fire and rushing over, thus blocking them here.

In an instant, countless screams rang out, and the students in each carriage tightly closed the carriage doors, genuinely believing that a fire had broken out.

If someone were looking down from the sky at this moment, they would see that several sections of the Hogwarts Express were billowing with thick smoke, accompanied by the "screeching" sound of the locomotive, startling a row of owls flying in the sky.

George, having timed it perfectly, took out the mirror he had prepared beforehand and held it up to the window, intending to reflect the sunlight to attract Sniff.

However, they overlooked a very insignificant problem: now several sections of the train are shrouded in smoke, and the sun is blocked, so there is no sunlight to be reflected.

William appeared in front of George immediately, drew his wand, waved it gently, and whispered, "Flicker."

A red glow shone at the tip of the wand, like a firefly in the night sky.

The mirror reflected the light, accurately illuminating the carriage.

Red light has the strongest penetrating power; you can definitely detect it by sniffing it.

Sure enough, the next second, there was a gasp and a clattering sound. A black shadow appeared next to the mirror in a flash and stuffed Qiu's mirror directly into its pocket.

George grabbed the sniffle's paw and lifted it upside down, while William reached out and scratched its furry little belly.

Sniffle let out a pleasant "purring" sound, its little tail trembling excitedly, its little paws drooping limply.

But happy times are always short-lived, and lots of shiny things fell out of its belly pouch and crashed to the ground.

Scattered among them were a dozen or so Galon, mostly Sikor and some Nat.

It seems that not all of Slytherin's students are rich.

William's eye twitched. He had actually found an iron belt buckle... So, the Niffler had removed the belt from the little wizard's casual clothes in the carriage!

What a sleazy guy!

George picked and chose, taking out enough money to pay for his homework, then put the rest of the money, along with other odds and ends, into a small bag and threw it into the carriage.

Bang!

The bag hit someone, and another round of cursing followed.

William stared at the belt buckle in his hand, unsure what to do with it. George, without a second thought, picked it up and threw it straight out the window.

"..."

"Hurry up, the prefect is coming." George grabbed William with one hand and roughly carried Niffler with the other.

The sniffle hung motionless in mid-air, watching its precious baby being thrown out of the window. It was so angry that it trembled all over, its body covered in cold sweat despite the hot weather, and its paws were ice-cold.

Hell is empty, and the devils are on earth!

Is there any hope for the magical world? How are the Nifflers supposed to live for you wizards to be satisfied?

Tears streamed down my face uncontrollably. This magical world is filled with oppression against the Nifflers. When will the Nifflers be able to truly stand up?

……

……

Three minutes later, the carriage door was suddenly opened, and Percy stormed in angrily, but his expression quickly turned to confusion.

William and Cedric were discussing Transfiguration, while Cho, holding her little white rabbit, stared blankly out the window.

George held the dried fish, shook it, and tried to coax Bobo Tea, but Bobo Tea was asleep with its eyes closed and completely ignored him, while Fred and Lee Jordan were playing Wizard Chess...

Percy cleared his throat and asked, "The pranks outside have nothing to do with you?"

Fred looked up, displeased, and said, "Percy, what do you mean by that? Are you implying that we did all the bad things? George and I are your own brothers..."

Fred's voice grew louder and his tone more and more angry, until finally, a single, glistening tear squeezed from the corner of his eye.

Percy cleared his throat and said apologetically, "I'm just here to do some inspection, nothing more."

George asked疑惑地, "I remember patrolling is the prefect's responsibility, right? Oh... I see!"

George and Fred exchanged a glance. George's face was full of smiles as he teased, "I see. Percy, you must be getting used to life as a prefect in advance. After all, this position will definitely be yours next year."

Percy's face flushed red, and he slammed the carriage door shut.

Lee Jordan put the Wizard's Chess set into his bag, and said worriedly, "Is this really okay? What if Professor McGonagall finds out..."

Fred wiped the prank potion from the corner of his eye, pursed his lips tightly, and said with feigned seriousness, "Hmm, five points deducted from Gryffindor!"

George patted Lee Jordan on the head and laughed, "Don't worry, school hasn't started yet, to be precise... it's still summer vacation, so Professor McGonagall won't deduct points from our college."

Fred continued, "Don't forget, Slytherin has won the House Cup for five years in a row, and everyone is putting in their best effort to bring them down."

Even Professor McGonagall is no exception... Hey, Lee, what's in your backpack?

Fred's soft exclamation drew everyone's attention.

Lee Jordan smiled smugly and pulled a large stack of newspapers from his backpack.

"This is the Daily Prophet I collected during my summer vacation. Goodness, it's all about your family and Malfoy. It could be written into a novel."

I heard the Ministry of Magic was attacked, but there were no reports, and I don't know what's true and what's false...

"Ah, take it away quickly! My mom's been furious about this lately! Now whenever I see the Daily Prophet, I hear my mom scolding me in my head," George cried out in pain, clutching his head.

William quickly snatched it away and spread it on the table.

He actually saw his own photo...

It was a moving image: William's wand lit up, and a calf appeared on Decora.

Below is a headline in cursive script: Outrageous! When will school bullying end?!

William flipped through a few more newspapers and found that this was an education column. Around that photo, there were even experts calling for reforms to Hogwarts' education and cuts to professors' salaries!

Of course, that's nothing. The most prominent spot in the newspaper featured a photo of Mr. Weasley and Malfoy tearing each other's clothes.

The Daily Prophet even dedicated seven issues and fourteen pages to following up on this matter.

The titles are all increasingly frightening.

Shocking! Ministry of Magic Officials Beat Up Law-Abiding Citizen in the Street!

This is clearly a ruthless journalist who took a bribe from the Malfoys.

Inhuman! Malfoy openly attacks key figures in the Ministry of Magic!

Needless to say, Dumbledore also had connections in the propaganda department.

Quidditch commentators offered rather unusual perspectives; one even wrote: "Scottish Go Wild! Scorpion Tail Strikes Again in Diagon Alley!"

Silence! Even England's poached chicken would weep at this!

The most outrageous one was probably this report, titled: "Two Old Men Embrace Each Other in the Street: The Untold Love-Hate Relationship Between Weasley and Malfoy!"

William glanced at the author's name; it was Rita Skeeter.

William was about to ask the witch a question when he suddenly heard a scream.

The sound was heart-wrenching, chilling, and seemed to reach the very depths of one's soul.

Fred nearly overturned the table. He clutched his crotch and roared, "George, William, what did you two do to the Niffler? It bit me! Ouch, that hurts!"

William remembered that Fred initially pulled the Niffler out of his crotch, and that's where he was bitten...

Fred started to get angry, tremble, feel cold, and cry.

Niffler reminds all wizards: Niffler's favorite thing is shiny recommendation votes. If you don't give them, Fred will warn you!
