A Certain Magical Hogwarts

Chapter 101 Why do women have to make things difficult for other women?
I thoroughly enjoyed the meal.
For the Granger family, it was a combination of wizarding and Muggle cuisine, with many of the dishes and drinks being unfamiliar to them.
During dinner, everyone, including the three children, had some alcohol.
Bobo Tea also wanted to drink it, chasing after the smell of alcohol, but in the end it could only continue drinking its cold water.
Indeed, as Roy said, the wine had a lingering flavor, and most importantly, it made you feel happier after drinking it.
In Roy's words, "This is a drink for joy, a drink for happiness!"
William knew it was the euphoric drug at work.
Finally, during dessert, everyone sang "God Save the Queen" (William: God Save the Elders!), bringing the dinner to a climax.
Roy and the other adults were going to reminisce about their lost youth and sober up, while William went into the basement to continue brewing his potions.
As for whether Hermione was the same "Hermione," William didn't care too much; she was just a little girl. He was more concerned about the financial situation of "Akali's Mystery Shop."
William invested all the money he and Anne had saved, the twins invested all the money they had earned last year, and Cedric and Cho did the same.
But I didn't expect there to be so many orders.
A large number of orders have been placed, but they can't afford the raw materials. They're currently facing cash flow problems. William is brewing a compound potion, preparing to sell it in Diagon Alley to raise some funds.
After an unknown amount of time, a soft knock came at the door.
William opened the door, leaving only a crack, and glanced outside. Anne was looking at him with a sweet smile.
That smile was incredibly sweet.
But William was not fooled by her innocent smile; behind that smile often lay the words "I'm sorry."
—She must have done something bad again!
Sure enough, Annie blinked her innocent dark green eyes, stood on tiptoe, tilted her head, and said softly, "Brother, could you come upstairs with me?"
"What?" William closed the door a little closer, scrutinizing her. "Annie, what have you done now?"
"No, come on over, I'll tell you upstairs, Hermione is waiting for you."
"You two were eating snacks in my room and spilled them on the bed?" A cold glint flashed in William's eyes.
William always locked the door, but Annie always managed to get in. It was eventually discovered that she had secretly made a copy of the key while he was away.
William cannot use magic at home, so he cannot lock the door with magic, nor can he change the lock. Therefore, he cannot stop the girl from causing trouble in his house!
Anne shook her head quickly, like a rattle-drum.
"Absolutely not!"
"You've messed with my magic book again?"
"You're overthinking it!"
"You took my magical items again?"
"No, it wasn't Hermione! It's all her fault!" Annie completely shifted the blame. "I put those dark-circled glasses on the table, and she put them on herself."
Annie's voice grew softer and softer.
"I told you it was still a work in progress, not fully invented... Wait, didn't I lock it up...?"
"Keep your voice down." Anne widened her eyes, stood on tiptoe, covered William's mouth, and cautiously glanced into the living room, where they were still chatting.
William spat a few times, and her hands smelled of cat litter!
William reassured himself that Annie must have just eaten cat litter-flavored Bibi Bott's Every Flavor Beans; that must be it.
He lowered his voice and scolded, "Hermione is a guest, why did you play a prank on her?"
"I told you it wasn't me," Annie pouted, protesting. "I put the glasses on the table, and she put them on out of curiosity!"
William sighed with a headache. This little sister of his was good in every way, except that she loved to play pranks; she was such a troublemaker.
"Let's go." William closed the basement door and pulled Annie upstairs.
Bobocha sat alone on the table, glancing curiously at Hermione.
The girl stood in the middle of the room with dark circles under her eyes. She kept rubbing her eyes with both hands, trying to get rid of the dark circles, but it didn't work. Instead, her eyes became red.
It would have been fine if William hadn't come in yet, but as soon as he walked in, she stopped rubbing her eyes and burst into tears, feeling wronged.
It was probably the effect of the euphoric drug; otherwise, why would William find the girl's appearance so funny?
She immediately glared at William with teary eyes.
Hermione's crying, with braces in her mouth and something in her mouth, had a unique rhythm.
Anne laughed too. William, with a knife in his right hand, struck her on the head. The girl winced in pain and covered her head.
Hermione couldn't help but laugh when she saw this, but then she remembered her dark circles and tried to put on a serious face.
"After applying this medicine, your dark circles will disappear." William took a bottle out of his small bag.
The bag wasn't big, but it was like a treasure chest.
The stubborn little girl stood still, sulking. A cool breeze blew, her fluffy hair swirling and floating, her brown bangs fluttering in the wind, revealing her high forehead, which appeared particularly fair and smooth.
In the end, the girl was the first to give in and sat down by Annie's bed.
William smiled, sat down next to her, and couldn't help but tease her, "Don't close your eyes, or you won't be able to wipe off your dark circles."
Hermione clenched her fists and widened her eyes upon hearing this.
William carefully wiped the girl's eyes with a cotton swab dipped in purple medicine.
His hands were very steady from repeated practice, but the girl's face trembled unnaturally. However, due to William's warning, she kept her eyes wide open.
"It'll be over soon. It was just a prank. It won't leave a trace. Don't worry," William said softly, thinking the girl was scared.
The girl's brows were furrowed as she stared intently at William's face, her gaze filled with a scrutiny that was completely out of character for her young age.
After a long pause, she pursed her lips tightly again, looking just like Professor McGonagall.
William knew she didn't want him to see the braces.
To be honest, Hermione's eyes are very beautiful, with a kind of intelligence emanating from beneath her long eyelashes.
"Alright, it's all clean now." A moment later, William stood up and tossed a small mirror to the girl.
Hermione took a small mirror, looked at herself for a while, and exclaimed in surprise, "Really!"
"I told you it would be fine, Sister Rabbit." Annie poked her head over at the opportune moment.
Hermione, who had inexplicably acquired a nickname, glared at Anne, held out her hand, and calmly said, "Pay back my book."
It turns out that Anne had smeared the cover of Hermione's Encyclopedia Britannica with stained ink.
This ink was invented by twin brothers. Once covered by the ink, it can explain why homework wasn't done.
Anne asked casually, "How much is a book worth?"
William glanced at Anne, not telling her that the cleaning solution could remove the ink, but instead grinned mischievously, "Anne, believe it or not, this book is a little more expensive than you think."
"With your current daily allowance, if you don't buy snacks, it would probably take you 120 years to save up enough to buy a set."
William was obviously lying to Anne. The Encyclopedia Britannica is a very expensive set, but this was just one of the books in the set.
Annie clicked her tongue slightly.
Hermione, beaming with pride as if she had won, persisted, "Give me back my books."
Anne snorted, stuck out her bottom, and dragged a box out from under the bed, which was full of various magical items.
She took everything Dumbledore had given her and pushed everything else onto Hermione, including the gifts William had given her!
"I'll compensate you!"
"It's all yours!"
"I just want my books," Hermione insisted. "To make them exactly as they were in the beginning."
She emphasized, "I only want the books."
Anne, feeling helpless, could only glance pitifully at William, as if expecting him to pay her.
"I don't want money!" Hermione said, holding out her hand. "I just want my book."
Anne tossed the Boba Tea she'd used to groom the cat onto the table to Hermione, saying shamelessly, "This cat's yours for now!"
Bobo Tea looked completely bewildered. Hermione was tempted for a second, but then insisted, "I only want the book!"
This is the fifth time.
A clash of titans.
William sat on the edge of the bed, finding the scene before him amusing.
Why do women have to make things difficult for each other?
