Chapter 776 Tier 6 and Tier 7

Chapter 776 Sixth and Seventh Orders

After returning from the Great Hall, Thor entered the inner city of Sky City, where only formal wizards could reside, and turned into a quiet alley.

The walls on both sides of the alley are covered with pink and white irises. They bloom and fade every day, blooming and fading, demonstrating their power from head to toe.

Thor no longer stays at the inn; instead, he has rented a uniform two-story building here as a first-tier wizard and personally set up basic magic arrays inside and out.

During this period, he was basically certain that Sky City was under lockdown in a secret location.

Although some people are allowed to leave, they will be carefully screened, and those who are not allowed will not be able to take even a single message out.

Thor did not personally test whether he could leave Sky City.

He had important matters to attend to and did not want to actually leave Sky City.

In addition, this is also a bottom line.

If he were to personally test whether he could leave, and was refused, the fragile balance of interests between him and Ophelia could easily be broken.

Even if the other party is still influenced by the theory of cause and effect and helps him connect to the colorful world, it is uncertain what will happen to their relationship after this.

Since he couldn't leave Sky City for a while, and Thor couldn't stay in the hotel forever, he moved to this small building on Nathan's recommendation.

Upon returning to the small building, Thor's first action was to go and talk to the water god.

It has been a month since he last communicated with the Water God, and now he is confident that he can bring the Water God back into the consciousness platform.

Furthermore, this time we are prepared, and the consciousness platform will last longer than last time.

However, when Thor saw the white cat again, he found that his mental state was much weaker than the last time they met.

What's wrong with you?

The white cat, which had been lying on the ground, immediately sat up gracefully again when it saw Thor coming over.

"It's nothing, it's just that there haven't been any offerings these past few days, so I haven't been feeling very well."

Since Thor took the original White Porcelain Cat away, Nathan has stopped spreading the clones. Without a soul to help the water god counteract the curse of the deep sea, he has to bear it all by himself, which naturally takes a toll on his mental energy.

Thor hadn't properly assessed the water god's condition yet, so he went straight up to check on him.

The white cat-like water god was initially wary, but he suddenly remembered Thor's appearance as a coiled curve, and ultimately did not make any rash moves.

Thor examined it, then took two steps back. "The seal on you is extremely powerful. No wonder your consciousness world turned into a deep sea."

The Water God shook his head. "Actually, this seal was originally much more terrifying, but it has been weakened by time over the past hundred years. I was only able to sense the outside world a little over a decade ago, and only in the last two years have I been able to offset some of the curse and make the seal break faster."

Thor simply sat on the round platform, facing the white cat.

"Aren't you the water god? Why were you sealed away? And by something like the deep sea..."

Using water to seal away a being who claims to be a water god is quite a powerful form of mockery.

"...You'd better not call me Water God anymore. My real name is Floco."

Thinking of the reason for being sealed, the white cat's back bent slightly, then straightened up in an instant.

"Actually, I offended another fifth-tier opponent while crossing the star gate. At that time, I had just advanced and was arrogant. As a result, my physical body was destroyed in a few blows, and my spiritual body was almost annihilated. It was only because the enemy wanted to humiliate me that they preserved my consciousness and sealed it in the deep sea."

When Flo said these things, his tone was calm, yet somewhat relieved.

These things had been weighing on his heart for hundreds of years, and the original resentment and agitation had dissipated. Speaking them out to Thor brought him a sense of relief.

Thor felt a chill run down his spine after hearing Floco's story. "You're both fifth-tier wizards, are those outside the Star Gate really that much stronger than you?"

"The higher the level, the greater the difference in strength between those at the same level. You're not at the fifth level yet, so you don't know, but the minimum requirement for the fifth level is being able to pass through the star gate and travel between different realms on your own. Anyone who can do that is at the fifth level, and the difference in strength between those at the fifth level is probably greater than the difference between an apprentice and a fourth-level wizard. That's why many people, even if they have the strength of the fifth level, are unwilling to cross the star gate, for fear of encountering someone like me."

"The difference in strength between fifth-tier wizards is so great." Thor suddenly wondered what the requirements were for reaching the sixth tier.

He thought that when Floco was alive, this wizarding world should not have been sealed off yet, and perhaps he knew what the strength of a high-level wizard should be like.

So Thor just asked directly.

Froco was not surprised; everyone is interested in the top level of strength.

Wizards are a group full of curiosity.

"Although you're only at the third rank... I might as well tell you."

"A fifth-tier being can advance to the sixth tier simply by completely destroying a world. Note that it's complete destruction; wiping out all humanity on a continent doesn't count. It's said, and I'm just saying, that the most powerful sixth-tier beings can directly disintegrate a world simply by adjusting a single underlying rule."

"Tsk!" Thor couldn't help but click his tongue.

"As for the seventh rank, in my world, they are called Creators. That is, they can independently create a world."

"This is quite similar to popular mythology."

Froco continued, "Isn't it ironic? A sixth-order being wants to destroy the world, while a seventh-order being wants to create it."

Thor nodded. "But there are patterns to follow. That's how wizards are. They pursue knowledge, learn knowledge, understand knowledge, master knowledge, question knowledge, and finally use knowledge to create knowledge."

Froco stared blankly at Thor. "You're talking like a wizard."

"Didn't I look like that before?" Thor asked with a smile.

"Do I need to tell you what you were like before?" Water God Floco muttered to himself, but he didn't want to bring up that word again.

Having finally gained some understanding of the strength beyond the fifth rank, Thor considered for a moment and brought up another matter.

"Floco, if things continue at the previous pace, how long will it take you to break the seal?"

The white cat's tail swung slowly from left to right. "It might take several hundred years. Trying to scoop up the ocean with a small spoon is no easy feat. But I've been imprisoned for hundreds of years, so I'm not in a hurry anymore. As long as people outside still have the desire for good fortune, they will naturally send me offerings."

Fourth-tier wizards are basically immortal beings, and a few hundred years is not a long time for a fifth-tier wizard. But if possible, who would want to be trapped in the body of a cat?

Thor leaned forward, resting his arms on his knees, and gave a seductive smile.

"Floco, scooping up seawater is difficult, but sometimes all it takes to create a tsunami is a massive explosion. Have you considered using this method to escape?"

Floco looked up at Thor, his cat eyes holding a solemn "finally here" expression.

"Of course I've considered it, but in the place where I'm sealed, I'm just a cat that can't even speak. Besides being able to pass on some lucky power, I can't do anything else."

Thor patted his knee. "But you've met me now, haven't you?"

The white cat nodded slowly, saying with a hint of flattery, "Yes, for hundreds of years, this ability to be lucky has always come back to me."
