Chapter 777 Trial Connection

Chapter 777 Trial Connection

Sol helps Froco analyze the situation.

"Now, every time you pass on luck to someone outside, they can help you share some of the curse from the deep sea. This curse will also take effect quickly and harm them. But as long as you are careful to avoid it, those outside won't necessarily die."

Sol had gotten used to attending classes recently, and a small blackboard rose from the ground behind him in a fitting manner.

A chalk-textured image appeared on the black screen, automatically demonstrating the scene Thor was telling his story.

"Currently, you are sealed and have very little power at your disposal, but there is one power you can utilize: the deep-sea curse that is currently sealing you. Normally, these curses either suppress you or backfire on those who have received your good fortune. If someone receives your good fortune, but the deep-sea backfire does not act on the corresponding person, it will create a force that is the opposite of its original effect."

"I've thought of that method too. But I can't suppress the curse from backfiring."

"So I'll give it a try."

Flo has been sealed away for hundreds of years and has tried every possible way to escape, but without success. Although Thor has now proposed a solution, he does not have much hope for it.

"How are you going to try?"

"I will try a special method to redirect the backlash back to you."

As he spoke, Thor extended a semi-transparent thread from his fingertip, moving through the air like a live earthworm, slowly reaching towards Floco.

"Gulp."

Upon seeing the thin line again, Froc's throat bobbed twice.

He certainly didn't need to swallow, but for some reason, he really wanted to do it at that moment.

"Are you going to connect me to this?"

Thor has already begun to make his move.

"No, it's about gathering around you and turning it into a bomb. Do you know what a bomb is?"

"Well……"

"I'll be careful to adjust the angle so that the explosion doesn't affect you. However, in order to bring the seawater that seals you to the surface, the power must be considerable."

More and more lines have begun to entangle Froco, and what's worse, he has no way to resist.

If it were the water god of the past, even if he didn't want to provoke the Death Demon, he could have tried to escape.

But he's tied up right now!

Moreover, he was brought to this place bound and gagged...

The lair of the Deathbringer?

Since he could no longer resist, Froco decided to fight for his own strength and figure out Thor's purpose.

"What do you want in return for helping me like this?"

Sol sat listlessly, chin in hand. "I haven't decided yet."

"Um?"

"I haven't decided yet." He switched hands. "However, the legend of 'The Cat Returns' should be brought back into the spotlight. How can we unleash a tsunami if we don't collect enough cursed power?"

……

A month after leaving Perle with Ophelia, Ophelia finally messaged Thor, telling him that he could make the first trial connection.

Of the several consciousnesses, Thor only took Beth with him, leaving the others to roam freely outside.

Because the experiment connecting the Rainbow World is still a secret between Thor and Ophelia, only Thor and Ophelia are currently at the experimental site for the connection.

This connection experiment will likely last for about half a month. So, Ophelia in the blue dress took Thor to another, more suitable location for the experiment.

Beneath the main hall of the White Glass Fortress, there is a spatial teleportation array.

This place is guarded by two giant-like creatures.

As Thor followed Ophelia in the blue dress past two guards, their eyes remained still, but their nostrils were always pointed at the two of them.

"You can just stand in the very center." Ophelia pointed to the central ring of the magic circle. "This is a spatial teleportation circle. I don't know if you've used it before."

Thor stroked his chin, not telling her that there was an emergency escape device beneath his wizard tower.

He stepped into the magic circle and stood still, gesturing to Ophelia in the blue dress that he was ready.

Seeing Thor's practiced movements, Ophelia knew he understood the principles of how the teleportation array worked, so she went to the side and activated the switch.

The next second, the entire magic circle emitted a dazzling white light, covering Thor's vision.

When the white light faded, Thor found himself in a place filled with rising white mist.

Even with his eyesight, he couldn't see through the white fog to see anything three meters away.

Thor raised his hand and waved it twice in front of his eyes. As his arm moved, a faint magical force formed a gentle breeze.

However, the breeze passing through the white mist was as if passing through a beaded curtain made of metal chains, and it could not disturb the white mist at all.

"It appears to be a witchcraft prop deliberately used to obscure vision."

Since there were no further instructions, Saul remained where he was for the time being, but he turned around to observe his surroundings as much as possible before anyone came to meet him.

Just as he turned around, the surrounding fog suddenly thinned considerably, and the scene a dozen meters away finally pierced through the fog and came into Thor's view.

"this……"

Thor looked at the enormous creature behind him, so shocked that he was speechless for a moment.

Behind him was an enormous mechanical device, completely out of place with the wizard's magical style.

Enormous gears were connected by equally massive chains. Pipes thicker than a person crisscrossed and weaved through what appeared to be steel supports, resembling giant pythons roaming a primeval forest.

White smoke billowed from the pipes at the highest point, and the railings at the pipe openings resembled jagged snake teeth.

"What are your thoughts on the Mechanical Heart?" Ophelia's voice came from behind Thor.

"Absolutely spectacular," Thor exclaimed sincerely.

"Heh, you're the first person to see the Mechanical Heart without questioning its connection to witchcraft." A head emerged from the mist, followed by a neck that disappeared into the mist, making the body completely invisible, and Ophelia's white porcelain bottle was nowhere to be found.

"I am more inclined to believe that different forms of power will eventually lead to the same end point."

"If you're interested, I can explain the principles behind the Mechanical Heart to you."

"Thanks, maybe next time." Thor gestured around. "Will our experiment take place here?"

"The first time was right here." Ophelia smiled, unconcerned that Thor had rejected her offer to introduce the Mechanical Heart.

Her head circled around Thor once, saying, "Don't move around here."

Ophelia stretched her head directly next to the Mechanical Heart and bit off a control lever with her teeth.

The enormous machine, which was already spinning, began to rumble and vibrate at a high frequency.

The mist that had been filling the room suddenly began to move, forming a white wall of mist around the teleportation array where Thor was located.

"The elemental particles have disappeared?" Thor was taken aback. He immediately released the magic power within his body and then sensed that the elemental particles carried in this magic power were being rapidly absorbed by the surrounding mist.

Soon, the area within the walls became a magical vacuum.

Ophelia's head slowly returned.

However, unlike when she floated through the air before, she crawled back by using her neck for support on the ground.

"Now, without worrying about other distractions, we can begin."
