Upon hearing what Lynn said, Sirius immediately thought that the boy was showing off in front of the girl.
He had seen this kind of thing many times before when he was studying at Hogwarts. Even his good friend Potter was particularly good at it, and he used his sweet talk to win over Harry's mother, Lily.
But if he were to actually make any aggressive move, Sirius Black could guarantee that this seemingly weak Hogwarts student would run faster than a rabbit.
Sirius has been living a very miserable life lately, constantly exposed to the elements and having to evade the pursuit of Aurors and Dementors from the Ministry of Magic.
Watching the two young wizards flirting, a dark thought suddenly popped into his head: "If I'm not doing well, I'll scare you too."
Of course, he only wanted to scare Lynn and the others; he didn't actually intend to attack them.
However, just as his muscles tensed, and he let out increasingly dangerous growls, poised to pounce on Lynn and the others at any moment, Sirius's vision suddenly blurred!
A tremendous force was transmitted to his left cheek!
Then his dog flew two or three meters to the right!
Lynn casually tossed the steak back onto the ground, as if he hadn't been the one who had just hit the dog with the steak.
Hermione, standing beside him, looked worried.
"Aren't you sure you didn't hurt it? What if its owner comes after us?"
"Didn't you realize? It's so fierce, it must be a stray dog. If I wasn't worried that it might be carrying some unsafe germs or bacteria, we would stew it and have dog meat hot pot tonight without any problem."
"Oh, eat dog meat? Forget it, dogs are so pitiful, how can we eat them?"
"Hehe, that's what Umaru said back then, but once the meat was cooked and she tasted it, she said it was really delicious."
When Lynn and Hermione left the alley, Sirius was still lying on his side on the ground, looking completely bewildered and questioning his existence.
This really stunned it.
The script shouldn't be like this. He's only been in prison for a little over ten years, and now the young wizards at Hogwarts have become so fierce?
Has the era changed, or has he become outdated?
Sirius lay on the ground for nearly half an hour without figuring it out. Finally, he staggered to his feet, intending to memorize Lynn's face and settle scores with him later, while hiding in Hogsmeade in a different place.
He suddenly turned around again and picked up the steak that had just been slapped in his face.
Since he'd already been beaten, he couldn't let the beating go unpunished. Besides, he had plans for tomorrow, and he needed to eat his fill before continuing his actions.
Halloween is arguably even more joyous than Christmas at Hogwarts.
After all, students usually go home for Christmas, while Halloween dinner is a gathering where everyone can get together. Professor Dumbledore sometimes invites a few celebrity wizards from the wizarding world to entertain everyone.
The Halloween dinner this year was no exception, and even Harry's bad mood from not being able to go to Hogsmeade yesterday was somewhat alleviated by the atmosphere.
He was still excitedly telling Ron and Hermione at the dinner table that he had seen Professor Lupin drink the potion that Snape had prepared in his office. Ron said incredulously that Professor Lupin must have gone mad. The whole school knew that Snape had been plotting to take the position of Defense Against the Dark Arts professor. Who knew if he had put something else in the potion that he gave Professor Lupin?
Hermione reassured them that while Snape wasn't a good professor, he wasn't that bad either. With Dumbledore watching over the school, he couldn't possibly drug and frame other professors.
It's been almost a month since Banban went missing, and Ron seems to have moved on from the trauma of losing his pet, and he's been in a pretty good mood lately.
Pumpkin lanterns with eerie smiles and orange-yellow flames in their eyes floated around the Great Hall. The ceiling was also covered with bats that Professor Flitwick had summoned with spells. Every now and then, they would fly in groups around the Great Hall, causing the first-year wizards attending the Halloween party for the first time to exclaim in surprise.
"The Dementors are coming!"
Malfoy, feigning fear, threatened Harry from behind the three of them.
His solitary confinement wasn't over yet; he forgot the pain before the wounds had healed. He could never forget teasing Harry, no matter what.
"Get out of my way, Malfoy!" Hermione glared at him. "You don't want me to extend your confinement for another month today, do you?"
Malfoy curled his lip in disdain, but still left with his two henchmen.
He's actually been much quieter at Hogwarts lately, and he hasn't even mentioned the arm injury he sustained in Hagrid's class since, as if he's selectively forgotten about it.
"I heard that their family is going bankrupt. Not only their family, but many old pure-blood families are going bankrupt. A group of them merged their businesses to start a company to try to control the entire British wizarding world's commerce, but they failed and another company took the spoils. I guess Malfoy's father is having a huge headache over this."
Ron whispered to Harry and Hermione.
He heard about this from George and Fried, who had mentioned it casually in a letter Mr. Weasley wrote to them.
"That's great news!" Harry said cheerfully. "That means Hagrid won't be in trouble, and he can continue being a professor."
While Harry and the others were talking about Malfoy, Lynn was also discussing the events of the previous night with Cedric and Ian.
"Your power has been increasing since you became a werewolf. If you continue to grow at this rate, you should reach your peak between the ages of 18 and 23."
Last night was a full moon night, and every year at this time, Lynn and Cedric would accompany Ian to the Screaming Shack to spend his transformation night.
There are more werewolves than just Ian at Hogwarts now, but I don't know how Dumbledore arranged it, but at least they didn't run into Professor Lupin in the Shrieking Shack last night.
Ian, however, did not detect any pride in Lynn's praise.
"Even if I'm strong, I still can't beat you. I'm a werewolf, so based on your current level, you should be a dragonman."
Ian looked at Lynn, who was completely serious and not joking at all.
"It's possible that way, but dragon people can't transform, so you can always maintain a human form. Otherwise, there's no way to explain why you have such strong physical abilities."
Lynn blinked innocently, looking like a martial arts master who didn't know any kung fu.
"Because I was born with superhuman strength."
