116. Cult! This must be a cult!
"Four steamed buns for one yuan, hehe!"
Ian's expressionless face and emotionless voice, coupled with the eerie incantation, sent a chill down Cedric's spine as he watched the spectacle.
Meanwhile, Harry and Ron, who were peeking from behind the door, couldn't help but shiver and get goosebumps all over their bodies.
Lynn was unusually excited, and he patted Ian on the shoulder happily.
"That's right, that's it. Can you feel the aura?"
I want to crawl into a hole and disappear.
"Don't think like that, Ian! You were very impressive just now!"
For some reason, Harry and Ron felt that Lynn, who was comforting Ian who was suffering from psychological trauma, was a great villain!
And that eerie incantation, that arrogant smile—he acts like a complete villain.
Lynn let go of the little white wolf who was in a state of extreme shame, and turned to look at Cedric.
"Your turn. Come on, just like I taught you, you must say it out loud."
Cedric's chosen incantation wasn't as bizarre as Ian's, and it did sound imposing when recited, but he didn't understand what it meant.
"Who the hell would buy Xiaomi?!"
Cedric took a deep breath and shouted the words as Lynn had instructed.
Anyway, he didn't know what it meant, and there was no one else there besides Ian and Lynn, so he didn't feel ashamed.
"Hahaha…"
Lynn laughed heartily, hands on his hips, and patted Cedric's shoulder heavily like a mob boss.
"That's right, that's it! You've grasped the essence. Now we can officially begin!"
Harry and Ron, who were hiding behind the door, couldn't stand it anymore.
They quietly closed the door again and then tiptoed away from the classroom.
They didn't dare to breathe heavily until they reached the Gryffindor common room, where they sat by the warm fireplace and talked about what they had just seen and heard.
"That's so weird! Lynn's behavior just now made me feel like he was even more evil than Snape!" Ron said in horror.
Harry clutched his chest, not understanding why he felt a wave of fear.
"And those strange incantations they were chanting, like 'steamed buns' and 'hehe' stuff, those are definitely dark magic spells!"
Harry's tone was very certain, but he actually had no evidence; he just had a feeling that Lynn was definitely not doing anything good.
"Have you ever heard of cults, Ron?"
"What is that? An evil cult?"
"That's right. It's said that the people in these sects are a bunch of lunatics who believe in evil gods. They gather together to perform evil rituals! I have a feeling that Lynn and the others were doing just now! They were summoning an evil god!"
"A cult! This must be a cult!"
……
"What cult?"
Hermione returned to Hogwarts the day before Christmas ended. She hadn't even entered the Gryffindor common room when Ron and Harry stopped her, saying they had some top-secret information to tell her.
These two brats actually told him that Lynn had founded a cult at Hogwarts.
"It's true! Ron and I saw Lynn and his two friends chanting eerie incantations and laughing horribly in an empty classroom. They were definitely summoning an evil god!"
Harry is trying his best to convince Hermione to believe him.
Hermione just thought they were being silly.
"What did you all do this Christmas? Stalked Lynn during the day, saying he started a cult? And wandered around the castle at night using invisibility cloaks just to see that ethereal mirror? Have you forgotten what you said before the holidays?"
Harry and Ron lowered their heads guiltily.
"So, do you know who Nicolas Flamel is?" Hermione crossed her arms in front of her, looking at them with annoyance.
Ron and Harry avoided eye contact.
"I suspect he might be a ghost."
"Yes, that explains why we can't find him among modern wizarding figures; after all, he's a ghost, so he must have died a long time ago."
They were talking complete nonsense, trying to change the subject of their lack of productive work during Christmas.
Hermione was utterly disappointed in Harry and Ron, and she turned and left the Gryffindor common room.
"Where are you going?" Harry asked from behind her.
"I'll go find Lynn. He's read far more books than I have, so he should know who Nicolas Flamel is."
Harry and Ron exchanged a glance.
Ron whispered, "We can't let her go alone. Lynn will lure her into a cult."
"Then we'll go with her."
Finally, the Gryffindor trio found Lynn by the Black Lake.
Lynn, Cedric, and Ian are having a picnic by the lake.
He had tormented the two of them for the entire Christmas holiday, so of course he had to reward them properly on the last day before it ended.
Although the ingredients all came from Hogwarts' kitchen, Lynn cooked all of these dishes himself.
He lives alone most of the year, so his cooking skills are naturally quite good. He can cook both Chinese and Western dishes, but more Western ones, since not all Westerners can get used to Chinese food.
When Hermione and the others arrived, Lynn had just finished eating and was leisurely enjoying dessert.
Lynn looked somewhat surprised to see Hermione.
"Hermione, you're back today? Did you eat anything on the train? We've almost finished all that stuff, but we haven't touched any of the candy. And you guys, why are you being so reserved?"
His last sentence was spoken to Harry and Ron, who were hiding behind Hermione, watching him warily.
Lynn looked completely bewildered; he didn't think he'd bothered those two brats much lately.
Hermione still had a bit of a temper with Lynn, but when she saw the neatly wrapped scarf around his neck, all her anger vanished.
"No, I already ate on the train when I arrived."
She went straight to the point and asked.
Do you know who Nicolas Flamel is?
Lynn was opening a box of chocolates. He took out the chocolates and pulled out a magic card from them.
He handed the Dumbledore card to Hermione.
"Are you referring to the Nicolas Flamel pictured here?"
Hermione stared wide-eyed at the card Lynn handed her, and Harry and Ron couldn't help but peek over as well.
They spotted the name they had been searching for all these days at a glance:
...He and his partner Nicolas Flamel were very successful in alchemy.
