The mastermind behind Hogwarts
Chapter 445 Harry is Humiliated
Harry was about to speak up when he heard Professor Snape's words, saying it was so unfair, when Neville kicked a stool next to him.
"Don't do anything reckless," Neville whispered. "You don't want to lose more points, do you?"
Harry pursed his lips, lowered his head, and mechanically stirred the potion in the cauldron, his mind filled with Snape's words.
"Your performance was absolutely terrible!"
"Being sorted into Slytherin was a mistake!"
"If I were you, I'd hurry back to Muggle!"
These words are like knives.
An hour later, get out of class ended. The Slytherin and Gryffindor first-years climbed the steps out of the underground classroom, Neville went to the library, and Harry walked alone at the back, his mind churning and his mood low.
Slytherin lost a point in the first week of school because of him, and he didn't know why Snape hated him so much.
Harry walked sullenly toward the common room, only to find Draco Malfoy ahead of him walking just as slowly.
Harry remembered that Draco was the only student who hadn't been criticized, so he chased after him and quietly asked how to avoid getting points deducted by Professor Snape.
Draco glanced at Harry and said listlessly, "I used to know Professor Snape."
After saying that, he ignored the bewildered Harry and walked away quickly.
Draco was also confused, still unable to understand why he had been sorted into Gryffindor.
Here, Draco is completely out of place, both in terms of his roommates and his lifestyle.
As they passed by Pansy, she tried to talk to Draco several times, but he ignored her.
Pansy wanted to chase after him, but Nora stopped her, saying, "Let Draco be by himself for a while. He probably hasn't figured out what to do yet."
Nott watched Draco's hurried departure and sighed softly.
Pansy stomped her foot in anger, just as Harry slowly walked over. Seeing Harry, Pansy was furious.
"Bott!" Pansy shrieked angrily, "Professor Snape was right, why didn't you go back to your Muggle home sooner? It's you who took Draco's place!"
"Oh, really?" Harry clenched his fist.
Harry had been relentlessly targeted by Professor Snape all morning, leaving him with nowhere to vent his anger. Now, Pansy was going to insult him as well, and Harry's rage was surging.
"I've had enough of you, Pansy Parkinson!" Harry drew his wand, recalling Marcus's spellcasting gesture towards Dudley, and adopted a rather intimidating offensive stance. "Want to taste my wand?"
Pansy was taken aback for a moment, then burst into laughter with her friend.
"Oh my, that'll make Merlin's jaw drop! Who do you think you are, Potter? Mr. Moriarty?"
Nott was laughing so hard he cried, clutching his stomach and taunting, "Look at him, how impressive! But he didn't even dare to participate in the Hidden Class Leader selection yesterday, and now he's chanting spells? Hahaha..."
Harry felt as if he had been stabbed in the heart. He took out his wand because the image of Marcus punishing Dudley kept flashing through his mind, so he couldn't wait to cast a spell.
There's something Harry never told anyone: when he bought the wand, it had a strange reaction with him—when Harry's hand first touched the wand, it emitted a brilliant burst of sparks.
Harry saw this as proof of his magical talent; maybe I was born with the ability to cast spells?
Harry became excited, his wand trembling slightly. Pansy scoffed, "Putt! You don't want to duel the three of us... the two of us at the same time, do you?"
Pansy included Daphne, but Daphne backed down and indicated she wouldn't participate, so it was just Pansy and Nott.
Harry retorted, "Come on, you're all Neville's defeated opponents."
Nott was about to draw his wand when Sabine, who had been watching from the sidelines, interrupted, "Let me do it! I'll teach this Harry Potter who shouldn't have been assigned to Slytherin a lesson!"
He walked up to Harry as if to show off and raised his wand.
Nott's eyes darted around. Sabini had a terrible reputation, and his appearance now was a gesture of goodwill. He gave Pansy a wink, and both of them were thinking of getting Sabini and Poot to fight like dogs.
Sabine stared at Harry, thinking to himself, "I'm sorry, Savior, but to avoid being isolated, I have no choice but to isolate you."
Harry wasn't fooled by Sabine's little scheme; he still wanted Sabine to leave. But before he could finish speaking, Sabine had already struck him with a spell.
"Grinning widely!"
"Sabini ni oh la la la~ ah ga ga ou—"
Harry was instantly cursed; it felt as if an invisible hand was pulling at his mouth, making it impossible for him to speak clearly.
Saliva dripped down their faces as Pansy and Nott burst into laughter, and the other students watching the commotion joined in.
Harry stared in horror, but then another spell from Sabine came.
"Tarantella Dance!"
Harry's legs seemed to be remotely controlled, involuntarily repeating the actions of spreading, stretching, moving, kicking, and jumping.
Sabine, with his nostrils flared, gave a disdainful snort, mocked Harry, and turned to walk towards Pansy.
In reality, he only knew these two spells. During the selection of the Hidden Prefect, Neville knocked his wand away with a Disarming Charm.
Harry's legs and mouth were out of control, and he was even more panicked, not knowing what to do.
Sabine was still putting on airs: "Potter, you'd better admit defeat, or I'll keep casting spells on you."
"Is that so, Sabine?"
A clear male voice came from the left corridor, and as several students turned their attention to it, William came out.
He wasn't wearing a wizard's robe today; instead, he looked like a friendly older brother next door, his eyes shining as he walked this way.
"Sabini, you cast a spell on Potter! I'm deducting 10 points from Slytherin for your abusive behavior!"
"What?" Sabine spread his arms wide, exclaiming in confusion, "Why? Potter provoked us first!"
"You think I can't control you just because I've graduated!" William's voice was even louder than Sabine's as he walked up to Sabine and stared at him.
"I..." Sabini didn't dare to talk back. He looked back at Pansy and the others, hoping to get support, but the three of them looked like it was none of his business, which made Sabini feel disheartened.
They just said that Harry Potter deducted 1 point from Slytherin on the second day of school.
In the blink of an eye, I'm going to deduct 10 points from the college!
Oh, Merlin!
It's easy to imagine that Sabini's future will be bleak.
"Snapped!"
William placed his hand on Sabine's shoulder, ignoring Sabine's thoughts. "Anyway, you're coming with me to see Moriarty. Now, I still remember the password to the Slytherin dungeons."
Sabini's face turned pale instantly. "No, please, Professor?"
"And what about you, Potter? Can you keep up?" William asked, seemingly concerned, after breaking the spell on Harry.
After receiving Harry's affirmative answer, another voice appeared in William's mind: "Hehehe~ Ha~ Ribot! Who cares about you anyway? It's through you that we can get closer to Moriarty."
William's voice came through, sounding very weak, and he said haltingly, "I forbid you...to persecute Moriarty, I forbid...you! To persecute the children of Slytherin!"
The voice said again, "Hehehe~ They're going to die~"
William himself grabbed Sabine and headed toward the Slytherin dungeons, with Harry happily following behind, thinking that someone was standing up for him.
Suddenly, Pansy said, "Professor William, the password to our common room has changed. I don't think you know the new password yet. Let me lead the way."
William nodded calmly, but the voice inside his head was filled with joy.
Pansy asked innocently, "Professor, why can't we let students exchange schools? I mean—trade Draco for Pott."
Harry was both surprised and anxious, but William was not in a hurry; the voice in his mind began to make plans.
"As far as I know: Draco is the only one left in the Malfoy family, Narcissa is being taken by Moriarty, and Lucius was killed by a vampire—why not resurrect him? I still need him—if he's not so stupid anymore."
"And this naive little girl from the Parkinson's family can also be used... That old man won't be wary of a freshman..."
While secretly plotting, William outwardly adopted the demeanor of a gentle and refined senior, chatting with Harry and Pansy, which greatly eased Harry's anxiety.
As William was about to enter the underground, he saw Marcus walking towards him.
