Chu Hanzhong snatched the binoculars. When he saw the person's face clearly, his expression froze—it was Gu Feng.

No one knows when Gu Feng managed to get onto the roof.

No one knows how he got up there, since the warehouse walls were bare and there was nothing to hold onto.

Among so many people present, none of them noticed when he left or how he reached the top.

"What's that kid up to? How did he get up there?" Captain Wu asked in surprise.

"Could it be that he's trying to climb in through the air vent?" another subordinate blurted out.

"Damn it, does he think he's Superman?" another subordinate cursed dismissively.

"Young people love to show off. What if they end up getting themselves killed while trying to save someone? That would be a real joke." Another subordinate quipped with a hint of schadenfreude.

The crowd started talking amongst themselves, whispering amongst themselves.

Chu Hanzhong raised his binoculars again. He saw Gu Feng in his field of vision give him a thumbs-up. Then, in a flash, he vanished from the rooftop.

Chu Hanzhong hurriedly looked at the spot where he had just stood, and there was now a dark hole there.

Gu Feng has clearly entered the warehouse.

"Shut up, all of you!" Chu Hanzhong shouted at his men who were still chattering away. The room fell silent instantly, then he waved his hand and said, "Proceed according to the original plan."

Gu Feng stomped hard on the air vent. As shards of glass fell, he jumped straight down.

Chen Hongyin and his gang were doing unspeakable things to Zheng Fengjiao when, unexpectedly, someone kicked a hole through the roof.

A figure descended gracefully like a god, leaving everyone stunned.

Chen Hongyin was indeed ruthless; upon seeing someone break in, he reached for his gun.

The gun had just been drawn, the finger had just touched the trigger, and before he could even aim, he felt a sudden numbness in his wrist, followed by a sharp pain, and the pistol flew out of his hand.

He forced his eyes up to look at his hand, enduring the excruciating pain, and saw a sharp shard of glass deeply embedded in his wrist. Meanwhile, the person who had seemingly appeared out of nowhere had already swiftly picked up the gun he had dropped.

At this moment, Chen Hongyin and his band of comrades finally saw the face of the newcomer clearly—this person was none other than their long-awaited nemesis, Gu Feng.

This was the first time Gu Feng had ever seen a real handgun. Holding the heavy metal object in his hand, he dared not underestimate it in the slightest. This unassuming thing could take several lives at any moment.

"Hehe, Chen Hongyin, we meet again." Gu Feng mimicked Chen Hongyin's previous tone, his finger on the trigger, the muzzle of the gun slowly moving back and forth between the people around the mattress.

"Hey, you surnamed Gu, you've finally arrived!"

Enemies meeting are bound to be filled with hatred.

Anger suddenly filled Chen Hongyin's entire chest.

With a roar, he forcefully reached out and yanked the shard of glass, deeply embedded in the bone and tendons, from his other wrist. He then grabbed the battered and mangled Zheng Fengjiao, holding the bloodied shard, and pressed it firmly against the carotid artery in her neck.

Gu Feng frowned and shouted angrily, "Chen Hongyin, stop committing evil deeds. Your crimes are already serious enough."

"Bullshit. Put the gun down right now, or I'll kill her."

Chen Hongyin had already completely gone mad.

Even at this critical moment, he didn't forget his evil deeds, grabbing Zheng Fengjiao's hair tightly with one hand, "Kid, see this? This is your sister, I've had my way with her!"

Gu Feng sighed and slowly shook his head: "Chen Hongyin, I have to admit, you are the most ruthless character I have ever met. It's just a pity that you are brave but reckless, at best a fool. Do you think the woman you're with now is my sister? You are ridiculous. Do you think you've really gotten revenge on me? You've just pushed yourself into an abyss of no return."

"You bastard, what did you say?" Chen Hongyin roared. When Gu Feng looked at him, the undisguised sympathy and mockery in his eyes pierced him once again.

"Why don't you ask her clearly who she is?" Gu Feng's voice was calm, but his tone was tinged with regret.

"Hahaha—" Chen Hongyin suddenly burst into maniacal laughter, his bloodshot eyes glaring at Gu Feng. "You think you can fool me with this kind of trick? Don't even think about it. She's your sister. You think I didn't ask?"

"Sigh, Chen Hongyin, you're not only laughable, you're hopelessly stupid. Did you really ask clearly?" Gu Feng shook his head and sighed.

"Hmph..." Chen Hongyin snorted disdainfully. But a thought suddenly popped into his mind, and he felt that something was amiss. After thinking about it carefully, he realized—there was something wrong with the kid's eyes.

Such a confident, calm, and even gloating look should never appear in the eyes of a younger brother who watched his own sister being humiliated.

A suspicion arose in his heart. He suddenly grabbed Zheng Fengjiao's hair, pulling her face upwards, and ripped off the transparent tape from her mouth, demanding sharply, "You bitch, who the hell are you?"

"I am Chu Hanzhong's wife... the eldest sister of the five sons of the Zheng family... You, all of you, just wait to go to hell..." Zheng Fengjiao's voice was weak, but every word was venomous.

"Ah—" Chen Hongyin's expression changed drastically. His companions were even more unable to control themselves and screamed in shock.

A cold sweat broke out on Chen Hongyin's back, and his chaotic mind raced at the same time.

Scenes flashed by, and finally, I had a profound realization.

He shoved Zheng Fengjiao aside and lunged at Gu Feng, yelling, "Fuck your mother, you bastard, you tricked me—"

Gu Feng merely lifted his foot slightly, using almost no force, and sent Chen Hongyin sprawling face-first into the dirt. He stomped on Chen's head and coldly sneered, "You're stupid, yet you complain about everything. What good is someone like you if you don't die?"

Chen Hongyin's buddies, seeing their leader being trampled underfoot, no longer rushed forward to fight as they used to. Instead, they were all paralyzed, squatting, or sitting, as if their tendons and bones had been pulled out, standing there blankly, their souls dazed.

Chu Hanzhong led a large group of men and quietly approached the abandoned warehouse.

After surrounding the entire warehouse, just as they were about to take out a megaphone and shout inside, they suddenly heard a loud bang, and the rusty iron gate was opened from the inside.

All the police officers raised their guns and nervously pointed them at the dark doorway.

As their eyes gradually adjusted to the light, everyone could see clearly that the person leisurely walking out was none other than Gu Feng, the naive young man who had been standing on the roof earlier.

Everyone stood frozen in place, completely bewildered as to what had happened inside during those few short minutes as they quietly approached.

"Director Chu, I've dealt with them. You can go in and take the hostages now." Gu Feng clapped his hands. For Chu Hanzhong and his team, rescuing the hostages seemed incredibly difficult, requiring them to consider this and avoid that. But for Gu Feng, it was an incredibly easy task.

Chu Hanzhong's gaze passed over Gu Feng and finally fell upon the scene deep within the warehouse. Chen Hongyin and his group of seven were all bound hand and foot.

What bound them was not rope, but steel wire—discarded pulley wire from the warehouse.

Zheng Fengjiao, who had been naked just moments before, was now fully clothed, lying slumped on the old mattress with empty eyes and a numb expression.

Chu Hanzhong withdrew his gaze from the distance and focused back on Gu Feng, his expression complex and unreadable. Clearly, Gu Feng was doing this to try his best to save face and prevent the situation from sliding into a more embarrassing, serious, and uncontrollable state.

"No need to thank me, it's what I should do." Seeing that Chu Hanzhong was still looking at him, Gu Feng shrugged, clapped his hands, and walked straight outside.

This matter originated with him, and it was indeed his duty to resolve it personally.

Without firing a single shot or firing a single bullet, they captured the entire gang of kidnappers with almost no effort. The group of policemen stood there like wooden stakes, staring blankly as Gu Feng's tall figure, whom they could only look up to, gradually disappeared into the distance.

Team Leader Wu, the bearded man, the few who had made sarcastic remarks, and the group of officers who had initially looked down on Gu Feng—all wore expressions that were indescribably unpleasant.

From one perspective, Gu Feng undoubtedly did them a tremendous favor; but from another, it was also a slap in the face.

At this moment, everyone finally had to admit that the young man named Gu Feng's boasts were not empty bragging, but the absolute truth. His ability to single-handedly take down seven desperate criminals in just one minute was something they could only dream of.

If you really challenge him to a one-on-one fight, you'll only get beaten up.

However, in any case, Gu Feng had basically taken his revenge.

Chen Hongyin and his gang were convicted of multiple crimes, including kidnapping and rape. Even with a lenient sentence, they would still face at least eight or ten years in prison.

Zheng Fengjiao, who has always been shameless and arrogant, should have learned her lesson after this ordeal of blood and tears, even if she is still unrepentant.
