Peng Liangpei looked up and saw several faces already pasted on the windowpane—those were Gu Feng's roommates.

So it wasn't going to be a candlelight dinner for two after all. Peng Jingpei was incredibly disappointed. She had been planning to have him accompany her shopping and to see a movie after dinner. It seemed her plans for the evening were completely ruined.

Gu Feng waved to his friends outside the window, then turned around and saw Peng Liangpei still sitting there in a daze. He couldn't help but ask in surprise, "Hey, still spacing out? Didn't you say you were hungry? Let's go."

"Okay," Peng Jingpei replied listlessly.

As soon as he stepped out of the classroom, several people swarmed around him. After a few jokes and laughter, Li Xiaolan leaned closer and asked in a low voice, "Junior brother, how did that matter go?"

He was naturally referring to Chen Hongyin's affair. Upon hearing this, the expressions of the others immediately turned serious.

"Don't worry, brothers, the matter is settled," Gu Feng said with a smile.

"Alright? Chen Hongyin has been arrested?" Yang Xiaochen asked hurriedly.

"Yes. Under the current criminal law, he'd have to serve at least seven or eight years in prison."

"Then... what about that woman surnamed Zheng?" Ye Peng asked again.
