I dug all day.

As evening fell, the sailors piled up the ore and pure silver they had dug up. The ore piled up in a large heap, its silvery-white color gleaming in the setting sun. There were dozens of pieces of pure silver, varying in size.

In the afternoon, several more mine pits were discovered, but they were all buried. This time, there wasn't enough time to excavate them.

However, this amount of pure silver alone is enough for Rurikawa to build the magic tower.

Ron put the pure silver into his spatial storage and estimated the amount of silver ore remaining.

There are about ten tons of ore; we'll be lucky to refine half of it back home. That's only because the ore at the mine is of relatively high purity.

Let's continue exploring pure silver; it offers better value for money.

Ron planned to mine for another day tomorrow, so he decided to stop here for today. After saying goodbye to Margaret, he led his men back to their camp.

Margaret watched the pet owners leave, grunted twice, exhaled two puffs of dragon breath from her nostrils, and then closed her eyes to continue sleeping soundly.

Inside the cabin.

Lilith said sweetly to Ron, "Piglet~ You were so brave today. I was so scared when I saw the dragon that my legs went weak."

"Brother, you're amazing!"

Ron grinned mischievously, "What's wrong? Your legs go weak when you see me?!"

"Brother, you're so naughty!" she giggled as she rubbed her reddened knees.

The next day, his men continued mining.

Ron, having nothing better to do, went to find Margaret.

She was still processing the effects of the original solution when Ron tentatively said:

"This digestion is too slow. How about we go for a walk to help digest our food?"

Margaret looked at Ron with her deep blue eyes, as if she was thinking that what Ron said made some sense. Then she prepared to get up and go for a flight.

Ron quickly stopped Margaret, who was about to take off, and said awkwardly:

"Why don't you take me with you? I've never flown before. I'm not heavy, so it won't be a problem for you to carry me."

Margaret quickly refused, shaking her head rapidly, her refusal thorough.

Ron was not discouraged at all:

"You said we were good friends, so what's wrong with letting me ride it for a bit!"

"Besides, I still have one more chance for a mental battle, and maybe I'll succeed. Then we'll be partners, so we should start building chemistry now."

Margaret was starting to loosen her grip on Ron, who then took out the remaining monster cores, and Margaret was indeed tempted.

No dragon can resist the temptation of treasure.

"Please, I'm begging you." Ron knew he had to save face for this proud little silver dragon.

Sure enough, Margaret curled her tail and took all the crystal cores away, then looked up at the sky and made no further move.

Ron quickly groped his way up, without saying a single unnecessary word.

Sitting on the silver dragon's back, Ron touched it all over. Oh, the shimmering scales, the cold yet hard texture, the slender yet powerful body. It was truly enchanting.

Margaret felt a little uncomfortable being touched by Ron, but she didn't say anything and just pretended he wasn't there.

She stood up and flapped her wings. Ron gripped the spikes protruding from her body and sat firmly.

The wind exploded in my ears.

The ground plummeted downwards, shrinking the beach, forests, and boulders into tiny dots. The sea stretched out before us, boundless and a dazzling blue.

Ron's heart was pounding like a drum, and his blood was rushing to his chest.

Margaret flew steadily. She flew around the island with Ron in her arms, then headed towards the sea. The wind whistled past their ears, making Ron's hair a mess, and he could only keep his eyes open by protecting them with his battle aura.

On the ground, Ron's men were so shocked that they stopped what they were doing, and Lilith covered her mouth in excitement.

The sky is a realm inaccessible to humankind.

Ron watched from the air as the figures of the crowd below slowly disappeared. A surge of triumphant pride welled up within him.

No wonder the dragon always looks so arrogant. Ron has only been up here for a short while and he already thinks he's invincible.

As the island disappeared from view, the two flew quite a distance in just a short while.

"Faster!" he shouted.

Margaret accelerated. Her wings flapped faster, and then she suddenly swooped down to accelerate.

Ron looked down and couldn't tell the distance to the sea. Every moment felt like he was about to crash into the water, his heart pounding with excitement.

Then Margaret suddenly spread her wings and made an emergency 90-degree turn.

My body was almost skimming the surface of the sea. Waves splashed beneath me, and water droplets stung my face, making it hard to open my eyes. Seabirds flew past, startled and scattered in all directions.

Ron gripped the scales tightly with both hands, not daring to loosen his grip even slightly. Only after Margaret's flight stabilized did Ron straighten up and look ahead.

On the vast, empty sea, the sky and sea blend into one, making it impossible to distinguish where the sea ends and the sky begins.

Margaret turned to look at Ron, then growled to remind him to sit still as she began to climb again.

And so, the two sped off. Margaret performed all sorts of exaggerated movements.

After playing for several hours, I still don't know where we flew to. There was an island in front of us.

They had passed by many places along the way, but had not stopped. This time, Margaret was probably hungry and preparing to go hunting.

Flying over the island, they slowed down but didn't descend. Margaret's eyes scanned rapidly as she selected her lunch.

Before long, they spotted a herd of bison, some of which were noticeably larger and were likely magical beasts.

Margaret circled high in the sky, the bison below clearly unaware of the danger. After selecting her target, she plummeted downwards.

The sound of air being torn apart rang in Ron's ears again. It was too late for the bison herd below to catch the predator; the silver dragon was already close to the herd.

Margaret breathed out a stream of fiery dragon breath, instantly roasting six or seven bison within its range, including three magical beasts.

(Setting: All types of dragons have a basic fire breath, and their different types of dragon breaths are distinguished by their classification.)

After Margaret hit her target, she continued to climb and hover in the sky.

The bison herd below scattered in panic after encountering the dragon, and Margaret didn't chase after them; she had enough for lunch.

Margaret looked around, then slowly landed, picking out three of the magical beast bison and slaying one in a few bites.

Ron was drooling at the sight. He noticed that one of the three bison was a high-level magical beast, while the other two were mid-level. They couldn't even withstand Margaret's casual breath attack.

This was probably because she was worried about burning it to charcoal, so she controlled the heat.

Ron, atop Margaret's back, witnessed the entire smooth and efficient hunting process, and was utterly astonished.

That dragon is way overpowered! It really needs to be nerfed...

But if I had one myself, that would be wonderful.

So cool!!
