Margaret finished the last bison, licked her lips, and let out a satisfied gurgle. She lay down, her wings slightly spread, gesturing for Ron to climb on top.

Ron stepped onto the dragon's back, using its front legs. Margaret stood up, flapped her wings, and carried him into the sky.

The return journey was calmer than the way there, and Margaret didn't try any more fancy tricks. She flew low, her wings flapping slowly. The sea breeze blew past her ears, carrying a salty, fishy smell.

Ron sat on her back, looking at the sea below. He felt much more relaxed than when he arrived, and now he felt an indescribable sense of satisfaction.

He touched Margaret's scales.

"You fly really well," Ron praised.

Margaret shook her head, seemingly pleased with Ron's praise.

It was already afternoon when we returned to the deserted island.

Inside the mine, the sailors were still digging. Several pits had already been dug to the bottom, revealing grayish-white rocks.

Abaddon climbed out of the pit carrying a block of pure silver, his face covered in sweat, but he grinned like a fool.

"My lord!" He saw Ron dismount from the dragon's back and run over.

"We dug up more than a dozen more! And big ones!"

Ron took them and put them into the bracelet one by one. There were more than a dozen pieces of pure silver, of different sizes, but overall, the goal was exceeded in just two days.

We had originally planned to stay on the island for five or six days, but now we can return home early.

Margaret ignored the group of little humans and went to lie down on the side.

Lilith ran over from under the shade of the tree and grabbed Ron's arm.

"Brother~ you're finally back! You're amazing!"

"That's a giant dragon! You look so cool riding it, brother."

Ron patted her head: "You know best how capable I am."

Seeing the little pink-haired girl's adoring expression, Ron felt an indescribable sense of pride. Who says green tea girls are bad? Green tea girls are fantastic!!

He told Lilith about his plans to leave that evening. The pink-haired girl buried her face in Ron's shoulder and said sweetly:

"I'll listen to whatever you say, brother. I'll be happy wherever I go as long as I'm with you."

She looked up at Margaret, who was lying not far away. The silver dragon had her eyes closed, her body curled up in a ball, resting comfortably. Sunlight shone on her, and her silvery-white scales reflected a dazzling light.

"elder brother,"

Lilith whispered, "Can I touch her?"

Ron glanced at her, then at Margaret. Margaret didn't open her eyes, as if she hadn't heard him.

Ron could tell at a glance that she didn't object: "She doesn't bite, go ahead! I'm watching you."

Lilith released Ron's arm and walked slowly toward Margaret. Her legs trembled, her fingers twisted the hem of her clothes, and she moved slower than a tortoise. When she reached Margaret, she stopped and glanced back at Ron.

Ron nodded to her.

Lilith took a deep breath, reached out her hand, her fingertips trembling, and slowly approached Margaret's scales.

She flinched slightly when they touched. Then she reached out again, this time without flinching.

Her fingers traced the silvery-white scales, gliding gently across them.

"It's so cool."

Her voice was very soft, as if she was afraid of disturbing something.

Margaret opened one eye, her deep blue pupils glancing at Lilith. Lilith froze, her hand hanging in mid-air.

But Margaret didn't move; she just looked at her for two seconds, then closed her eyes. The tip of her tail flicked.

Lilith breathed a sigh of relief and lowered her hand.

"She...she's so beautiful," Lilith whispered, her eyes shining.

She reached out again, this time bolder, and touched other places.

Margaret ignored her, but she was clearly in a good mood.

She recognized the little person in front of her. Dragons have extremely sensitive hearing. Margaret couldn't understand why such a tiny person wouldn't sleep every night and would howl so loudly, keeping her awake too.

Lilith lingered for a while before reluctantly turning back. She ran to Ron, grabbed his hand, and blushed with excitement.

"Brother! I touched a dragon! A real dragon!"

Ron chuckled. "Alright, stop yelling. Go help Marco count the ore."

"Um!"

Lilith ran away.

In the evening, the sailors carried all the ore onto the beach.

Captain Marco meticulously recorded everything in the ledger. Seventy-six pure silver ingots, weighing approximately one hundred tons, were kept separately by Ron.

The amount of ore mined this time was not much, but it was still about ten tons, piled up on the beach like a small mountain.

Marco wiped his sweat.

"Sir, there are about seventeen tons of ore. If we calculate based on half purity, we can refine half of that into silver coins, which is about ten thousand gold dragons."

"The ore is difficult to mine, but the bulk of the profit comes from pure silver ingots."

Ron nodded in understanding; this time, the harvest of pure silver alone amounted to approximately 100,000 gold dragons.

Building two magic towers is enough.

However, there isn't much pure silver around Margaret, and it will probably be gone after two or three more diggings.

There's mostly silver ore, which is plentiful and constantly permeated by the dragon's magic. But it's difficult to mine, especially now that there are fewer people around.

After we abduct Margaret, we can send serfs to stay and mine permanently.

Right now, pure silver ingots are enough for Ron to use.

After packing all the ore and loading it onto the ship, Ron went to say goodbye to Margaret alone.

Margaret was lounging lazily on the boulder, feeling somewhat ethereal.

The growth rate has accelerated significantly, and a considerable amount of the original essence has been stored up. Once it's used up, Ron can come and trade with it. Life is wonderful!

Ron would be overjoyed if he knew what Margaret was thinking.

I'm not afraid of you using it a lot, I'm afraid of you not using it at all.

Back in the day, who didn't try to take advantage of food delivery platforms? In the end, most people couldn't even be bothered to walk a few hundred meters.

"My dear friend, I have to go now. I'll bring you even more gifts next time I visit."

"I'll bring you the twenty bottles of serum I owe you too," Ron said.

"I'll be back next week!!!"

Margaret was convinced of this, and she looked up at Ron and hummed twice.

It's like telling him to hurry up and leave, so he can bring more next time.

"Let's fly a few more times next time! I've thought of a few cooler poses."

Ron reluctantly said goodbye to Margaret and returned to the ship.

The sun was setting, the clouds on the horizon were burned to a golden-red, and the sea shimmered with the last rays of light.

The boat slowly sailed out of the bay and into the open sea. Lilith stood on the gunwale, watching the island grow smaller and smaller, a hint of reluctance in her eyes.

"Brother, will the dragon miss us?"

Ron stood behind her, looking at the island.

"Yes, she will. She'll miss us terribly..."
