Mill had a dream.

A very warm and cozy dream.

He vaguely remembered that he was resting on a very soft mattress when a ball of light walked in.

The ball of light touched Mil's heart, and the next moment, a warm feeling, like taking a hot bath, came over him.

But then, just as the ball of light was about to leave, Mir suddenly reached out and grabbed it.

The ball of light began to struggle, but it was to no avail.

As a woman's soft struggle sounds came, Mir felt even more comfortable.

When Mir woke up, the first thing he felt was a comfort he had never experienced before.

It's like walking through a sweltering elevator after get off work on a hot summer day, getting home, turning on the air conditioning, and then chugging a whole bottle of iced black tea.

An almost uncontrollable smile crept onto his lips.

Mil shook his head, trying to clear his head, but then realized he was resting his head on something.

The head doesn't have the cold, hard feel of the ground.

Instead, it felt as if something was supporting the back of his head and back, preventing him from falling directly onto the cold ground.

He slowly opened his eyes, his vision gradually clearing from blurry. The first thing he saw was Andrebel's face, which was slightly pale from nervousness.

And those red eyes.

Mir had never imagined that any girl would only see her own reflection in her eyes.

But now, he has indeed seen it.

In Andre Bell's eyes, there was only himself.

"You're finally awake?!"

You could hear that Anderbel kept his voice as soft as possible, carrying a suppressed joy:

"You were unconscious for about three minutes. I... I thought you were... If you weren't still breathing, I really would have..."

Anderbel's voice was choked with undisguised sobs; for her, the moment Mir collapsed, it felt as if the whole world had crumbled.

Mil listened to Anderbel's words and wanted to reply, but he felt weak.

He blinked laboriously, feeling his body slowly regaining sensation.

Like the thighs after squatting on the toilet for a long time, they slowly become a part of you in a tingling and numb sensation.

After roughly regaining control, Mil smiled at Anderbel, then immediately turned to look in the direction of the statue.

He's not at ease until that problem is solved!

At this very moment, in Mil's view, the Cthulhu-style statue had undergone a noticeable change.

The somewhat disgusting tentacles that originally covered the surface all retracted, turning into a dry, shriveled pattern on the stone surface.

The strong, foul odor that initially emanated from the statue has now faded considerably, replaced by a smell of stale, fermented fish.

The statue's overall color changed from a deep gray-black to a normal dark gray, like a stone that had been soaked in water for hundreds of years and was finally fished out and dried.

In front of the statue's base, a faint golden halo remained on the ground, but the halo was incomplete; it was half-finished and crooked, failing to form a complete circle.

It's a bit like someone urinating on the beach, but because they didn't have enough urine, the drawing ended up looking like a mess.

Mil propped himself up on the ground and sat up straight. Anderbel pressed close to Mil, holding Mil's hand, while squatting slightly beside him to make sure Mil wouldn't fall.

"Thank you, darling, but please don't do this again. If it happens again, I swear I won't take you out again."

After moving his fingers to confirm that his body was gradually recovering, Mir immediately scolded Andre Bell.

To this, Anderbel simply said softly:

"It won't happen again next time, it definitely won't."

Mil looked at Anderbel, who promptly lowered his head, avoiding Mil's gaze.

It is clear that Andre Bell is lying.

But Mir didn't have any good ideas at the moment, and could only say that he would think of a solution later to avoid the other party always wanting to sacrifice himself.

He shook his head, and after confirming that the statue posed no threat, he looked up and around.

The air in the basement was more open than before, and the oppressive feeling that had been weighing on my heart had subsided considerably. Even the light from the soul lamp was much brighter than before.

"The statue is sealed? What happened? I just fainted, did you?"

Mil asked Andrebell, his voice hoarse from just waking up.

"It should be sealed away, but I'm not sure."

Andre Bell found it difficult to answer Mil's question; she didn't understand these things and could only recount what had just happened:

"After you fainted, the golden light did not leave. Instead, it immediately came to your side and gently tapped your forehead, leaving a mark that looked like the symbol of the Holy See."

Then, she went directly to the statue, and the entire light and shadow transformed into clusters of tiny points of light. These points of light converged to form the halos of light.

Hearing this, Mil nodded, then asked with some curiosity:

"But why didn't the aperture form? Does this statue still have the ability to resist?"

Regarding Mil's question, Andrebel suddenly looked at Mil with a somewhat strange gaze, and then said:

"No, although the statue resisted, the pale purple light it emitted could not prevent the formation of the halo. The halo became the way it was because of you after it was formed."

Hearing Andrebel's words, Mil was somewhat puzzled and continued to ask:

"Me? I've fainted, what can I do?"

Andre Bell replied:

"You suddenly reached out and yanked the air a few times in the direction of the light and shadow. I swear, you really didn't touch the light and shadow, but after you yanked the air a few times, the light and shadow became illusory."

It's as if, as if the energy was absorbed by you.

Then, a small portion of the light spots that were supposed to form a halo actually flew to your side.

And... you sucked it in directly.

"You don't know, just now your whole body was glowing, and your eyes were like torches, frighteningly bright."

Mir looked at the circle of light and listened to Andrebel's words. He remained silent for a few seconds, then slowly stood up and patted the dust off his clothes.

The next moment, a somewhat sharp voice rang in my mind.

"What have you done? How could you directly seize my godhood?! I originally only intended to give you one-tenth of my godhood!"

The moment Mir heard that voice, a familiar figure instinctively appeared in his mind.

Goddess of Light...

The dream I just had doesn't seem to be entirely a dream!

That sphere of light seems to be the divine essence of the Goddess of Light?

But how did I manage to plunder it?!
