Chapter 825 The Deal with Rob and Ribery

Perhaps feeling somewhat embarrassed by his own anticlimactic actions, Rob and Ribery, who had the home advantage this time, did not take the initiative to break the silence between him and Connor. Instead, he lowered his head slightly, seemingly lost in thought.

Seeing that Robley didn't intend to speak, Connor decided to take the initiative and said to Robley in a deep voice, "Mr. Robley, you said you're not a member of the Secret Society. You're just an information broker employed by the Duke's faction. There's basically no factional conflict or interest between us. Last time in the Baresi Forest, I only suffered a minor loss. We don't have any irreconcilable differences, so there's no need for you to pretend to be my sworn enemy!"

Upon hearing Connor's overtures, Robbie raised his head and gazed intently at Connor with his small eyes. He knew that Connor's nonchalant demeanor under his imposing presence was an act, but he was quite surprised that Connor could maintain the facade.

Based on Robbie's understanding of Connor's strength more than a month ago in the Baresi Forest, he knew very well that Connor Ferguson couldn't possibly keep up the act. But now that the facts were clear, it proved one thing: in the past month, Connor Ferguson's strength had made significant progress. This progress meant that while Connor's strength was still not quite as good as Robbie's, it was certainly not inferior.

Although he was reluctant to believe it, Connor Ferguson, who had only been a first-class wizard for less than a year, already possessed strength that was not much inferior to his own, Robbie knew very well that Connor Ferguson's teacher was the Professor, the second-in-command of the Secret Society, and Connor Ferguson was the Professor's only student. If Connor Ferguson had received help from his teacher in the past month, then it was not impossible for him to have achieved this!

"Speak, what exactly did you call me here for?" Looking at the energetic Connor Ferguson, Robbie felt a mix of emotions. He had no patience to beat around the bush with Connor any longer and said directly:

Seeing that Robbie was ready to speak frankly, Connor bluntly told him, "I want to know about Prince Boateng!"

Upon hearing Connor mention the name "Prince Boateng," Robbie wasn't surprised. After glancing at Connor, he said with a hint of sarcasm, "Connor Ferguson, you actually come to me asking about Prince Boateng? You probably don't know my relationship with the Boateng family, do you?"

"Hahaha, I always think things through before I act. If I didn't know Mr. Robelli, that you were helping the Boateng family purchase and sell cultivation resources in the Kaman Empire, why would I be here asking you!" Connor smiled slightly and said calmly.

"Oh? Connor Ferguson, since you know this and still came to me, I'm genuinely curious, Connor Ferguson, what makes you think I'd betray my big client to help you?" Robbie looked at Connor and said.

Connor smiled slightly, then lowered his voice and said to Robben, "Mr. Robben, let me remind you, you've made a mistake. Your major client is the Boateng family, not Prince Boateng. If my information is correct, your good friend is Mr. Fabian Boateng, isn't he?"

Upon hearing Connor's words, Robley's gaze sharpened as he looked at Connor. Seeing Robley's reaction, Connor was delighted, knowing he had a chance. He then continued, "Mr. Robley, you're a smart man, otherwise you wouldn't be an information broker. Actually, even if I don't tell you why I asked about Prince Boateng, I'm sure you can guess!"

"Furthermore, your good friend, Mr. Robben, is also your biggest supporter in the Boateng family. It's no secret that Fabian Boateng and Prince Boateng have internal conflicts within their family. So, by telling me about Prince Boateng, you're essentially doing a good deed for your friend Fabian Boateng. I'm sure your generous friend will thank you profusely when he finds out!"

After Connor finished speaking, Robbie thought for a moment, then looked at Connor and said, "That's all?"

"Of course not!" Connor shook his head, then looked meaningfully at Robbie and said, "Mr. Robbie, as you know, I'm an alchemist. If you need any help with alchemy, I'm willing to offer some assistance in any way I can, in exchange!"

After speaking, Connor's gaze shifted from Robbie to the back of the shop. Seeing Connor's action, Robbie seemed to have been provoked; his entire demeanor instantly turned fierce. He glared at Connor and said, "How did you know?"

"I told you I'm an alchemist, and my alchemy was taught by Professor Robbie. Although you've tried to hide it, discovering some clues isn't difficult for me!"

Connor paused, glancing at the floor tiles, ceiling, full-length mirrors, and the sofa where Robbie was sitting in the optician's shop, before continuing, "Mr. Robbie, if you want to silence me, I can't stop you, but I don't know who will win. However, I'm certain that a single alchemical bomb will destroy all the treasures in your back room!"

Upon discovering that Connor Ferguson had discovered all the restrictive mechanisms in his eyewear shop, Robbie's face turned extremely grim. He understood that even if he took action now, his chances of winning were slim.

After staring at Connor for more than ten seconds, he finally made a rational choice, took out two sheets of white paper and a pen from the desk in the shop, and began to write in front of Connor.

Ten minutes later, Robbie stopped writing with his pen. On the two blank sheets of paper, one was filled with writing, and the other had a sketch of a man.

"Everything I know is here!" Robbie said with a dark expression, handing the paper to Connor.

After glancing at Robbie, Connor took the two sheets of paper he was given and began to look through them. Although Connor was already basically convinced that the one-armed man he had met in the Aksa Forest was Prince Boateng, he still couldn't help but sigh when he saw Robbie's sketch.

Although the man's face in this sketch differs slightly from that of the one-armed man in some minor details, they are essentially identical in appearance. Now Connor can finally be certain that the one-armed man who harbored intense hatred for him in the Aksa Forest is Prince Boateng!
