The Silent Bookstore Manager at Hogwarts

Chapter 18 The Main Business of Silent Bookstore

"Hello, Ms. Sunmare, I'm sorry, we've only just restored the most basic functions here, so we may not be able to give you the answer you're looking for. But please come in first, and tell me what you'd like to know."

Red naturally welcomed them in. Harry clearly hadn't figured out what the Silent Bookstore did yet, so this was a good opportunity for him to see for himself.

"It's alright, even if we don't find the answer, Old Nightmare can just consider it a trip to enjoy the sea breeze..."

Mrs. Sunstrider greeted Harry and followed the eleven-year-old boy. Although she didn't know why the caretaker here appeared to the world as an eleven-year-old, everyone has their own secrets, and Mrs. Sunstrider wouldn't be foolish enough to ask.

"Actually, I came here because of... something that happened in Krakow."

Red stopped, pulled over a chair, and let Sunbane sit down with him. Then he looked up and asked Sunbane.

"You don't mind if I call my apprentice over, do you?"

"Hahaha, of course not..." Lady Sunbane chuckled. What happened in Krakow was merely a thorny issue for her, not directly affecting her fundamental interests. Besides, could the apprentice of the Silent Bookstore administrator be such a simple person? A small gesture of goodwill was perfect for her.

So Harry carried a chair in and sat down. He didn't quite understand why anyone would visit so late at night, especially since it seemed like they were there for something very important. But since they were willing to let him know, Harry naturally took a serious attitude and listened carefully.

"Administrator...the worm's dirty deeds. Dirty. Have you ever met Hobson? That annoying short guy. Yes, dirty."

Harry was taken aback. Shouldn't they be explaining the cause, location, and course of events at this point? Why were they speaking in such a rambling and disjointed manner?

"Hmm, I don't know Hobson, but worms... getting involved with them is troublesome, the worms of the world."

Reid smiled. He did know the name Hobson, but it was also true that he didn't know Hobson personally; there was no contradiction between the two.

"They say the Anti-Corruption Bureau locked Hobson in a box. To be honest, the Anti-Corruption Bureau can't tell the difference between a storage box and a storage room. Ha! A storage room! A storage room. Just like where you are. I think I should go to Krakow and make sure everything is properly sealed up. I just want to sort out what's in my body first. (Storage room!)" (Lady Sunburn needs a book on [Revelation] that is substantial enough to be considered an Arcane: Revelation.)

[Event: The Infinite Visitors] The "Hawk's Habitat" should never be underestimated. In this case, the worms have chosen to inhabit Spencer Hobson's body, who is currently on a mission for the Anti-Corruption Bureau in Krakow. By habitat standards, Hobson maintains an unusually high level of communication; clearly, he considers the worms his "guests." (Visitors interested in the secrets of [Revelation] and [Winter] will be willing to share their thoughts on this matter.)

Red took out the book "Night Wanderings, Volume One" and handed it directly to Lady Sunshine.

"I wish you success..."

Lady Sunmare nodded and began to read quietly. Red, naturally, didn't want to disturb her reading experience and left the reading room with Harry.

"What's going on? Red? Does the Silent Bookstore still lend books?" Harry asked curiously, even putting aside his prepared lessons.

"This is our main business: providing visitors with the information they need to help them draw their own conclusions. We have no obligation and should not offer our opinions to them."

Red looked out the window; the moonlight was incredibly soft and clear. Harry Potter listened to Red's words with great interest, deep in thought.

"You want to know what a worm is, right?"

Harry nodded without hesitation. They sounded dangerous, but Harry couldn't suppress his curiosity.

"They're a pathetic bunch, surviving by stealing bodies. To be honest, they'll eat their hosts dry, inside and out, and then use their appearance to find the next victim. Is that all they can do?"

Harry imagined the scene and couldn't help but gag. Red didn't show any expression; he had other things to do.

"By the way, Harry, after you finish your research on the [Tilde Lens] tonight, remember to practice your spear throwing. Although it's just a basic skill, there's no trick to it."

Red casually mentioned that Harry's talent as a warrior was unexpectedly good, so Red decided to have him learn more about protecting himself, including swordsmanship, spear throwing skills, and some basic protective measures, all of which were to be put on the agenda soon.

Of course, all this knowledge came from the "Commandments of the Scars" that Red had learned himself; he was just using a faster method to allow Harry, who was less talented than him, to learn these things earlier.

"Okay...I understand."

Harry nodded with difficulty, feeling the pressure on his shoulders begin to grow heavier. Was this really the schedule an eleven-year-old student should have?

Then Reid crawled into the pile of books, picked up "The Awakening of the Sunrise," and prepared to clear his mind.

The night passed very quickly. Harry, who was living a fulfilling life, fell into a deep sleep almost as soon as his head hit the pillow. Then, with his biological clock reminding him precisely, he groggily got up while Ron was still fast asleep, changed his clothes, and went to the lakeside at Hogwarts.

"morning."

"morning."

Unlike Harry, who seemed half-asleep, Red looked radiant. He waved to Harry, and the two eleven-year-olds began their morning run along the lake.

"Ha...let's take a break..."

Half an hour later, Harry stopped, panting, and looked at Red, who seemed to have little fatigue. He lamented that he couldn't keep up with Red's pace at all, but at least Red was willing to take him along.

"Let's take a break, then we'll start sparring. There's still a little time before breakfast..."

Red tossed a stick to Harry, and the two of them got into position by the lake.

However, Reid did not notice that an old man with white hair and beard was watching the two boys' sparring match from the other side of the lake.
