Witch Training Manual: My Water Magic Is Wrong
Chapter 63 Christina's Plan
Wayne's hand was still on Dora's arm.
She looked down at her petals, which were a pale purple, a little lighter than before, not obvious, but definitely lighter.
"Big sister," she said, her voice weak.
Christina looked at her.
"What's wrong?"
Dora rolled up her sleeves, revealing the petal-shaped marks on the inside of her arms. The pale purple lines meandered across her skin, like a half-open flower.
"Look."
Christina glanced down.
"What?"
"It really has faded." Dora's voice was soft. "Just now, when his water element flowed over, I felt the curse lessen. I thought it was my imagination, but now..."
She turned her arm over so Christina could see it more clearly.
"It used to be a deep purple, but now it's lighter."
Christina's gaze lingered on that petal for three seconds.
She looked up at Wayne.
Her panel reappeared.
Christina
Current status: Overthinking
[Note: She came up with seven solutions in three seconds: imprisonment, threats, bribery, seduction, marriage alliance, harem, and harem.]
[Also: She was thinking, why not just make him the cult's "stud," have him mate with several women, and produce a bunch of little witches, so his abilities could be passed down. Besides, there are a few good-looking ones in the cult, like Tilulu, Emily… if all else fails, she could do it herself?]
[Furthermore: After rejecting the idea, she thought about it again and realized it wasn't entirely impossible. Anyway, given the boy's appearance, the single members of the cult probably wouldn't refuse. Tilulu reacted the strongest, but those with the strongest reactions often have the biggest addictions.]
At this moment, the history of witches is changing.
Christina's gaze lingered on Wayne's face for a moment.
The words on the panel were still hanging in front of Wayne's eyes.
Stallion. Harem. Multiple partners.
Tilulu had the strongest reaction and the greatest addiction.
Wayne felt he needed to say something.
"Miss Christina."
"Um?"
"Were you thinking about something strange just now?"
Christina blinked.
What a perceptive man.
"Strange things? No, nothing." She took a half step back, rubbing her fingers together behind her back. "What strange things could I possibly be thinking?"
Wayne looked at her.
Christina felt a little uncomfortable under his gaze, glancing to her left and then to her right.
"Um, Bishop," she gestured to Wendy in the bucket, "Wendy's treatment isn't over yet, is it? Why don't you go ahead with your work, and we can talk later?"
Wayne looked into her eyes, which seemed to say, "I'm lying."
"Are you really not thinking about anything?"
"real."
The two stared at each other for three breaths.
Christina looked away first.
"Um, I'll go check if the window is closed properly." She turned and walked towards the window, her steps quickening as she came, her back to Wayne.
"Sir Bishop," Dora began.
Wayne looked at her.
"Um?"
When will Wendy be completely cured?
"Today," Wayne said, "is the final step in this process, after which the magical elements within her body will be able to circulate completely."
Dora's gaze lingered on his face for a moment.
"And then what?"
"And then?" Wayne thought for a moment. "Then it's just normal life. Her magic has been suppressed for too many years, she needs time to adjust. Don't push too hard at first, just take it slow."
Dora nodded.
Wendy opened her eyes.
"Your Excellency, I feel... much better."
"That's good."
Wayne pulled a small vial of potion from his pocket.
He handed it to Wendy.
"Drink this."
Wendy was also a little curious.
"What is this?"
"Awakening Potion"
The room fell silent after those words were spoken.
Christina's gaze was fixed on the potion.
Dora stood up from the bucket, moving so quickly that her knee hit the rim with a dull thud, but she didn't feel any pain.
"Awakening potion?" Dora's voice rose a half octave.
"Where did you get this?"
"I made it myself." Wayne put the small porcelain bottle back into his arms.
Dora opened her mouth, then closed it again.
She turned to look at Christina. Christina didn't look at her; her gaze remained fixed on the small porcelain bottle.
"Awakening Potion," Christina began, her voice calm. "The church calls it the Awakening Potion, but we call it the 'Key.' It can turn an unawakened witch into a true witch."
She looked at Wayne.
"This kind of thing can't be bought on the market. The recipe has been lost for decades, and only a few old witches still have some in stock. Every bottle used is one less available."
"You said you composed it yourself?"
"Yes."
Christina stared at him for a long time.
"Why would a priest like you be able to dispense awakening potions?"
"The guidance of the gods," Wayne said.
Christina looked at him.
"Divine guidance?"
"Yes." Wayne's voice was unhurried. "In a mysterious dream, the goddess gave me guidance, and I learned all of this in the dream."
Christina opened her mouth, then closed it again. Of course she knew it was an excuse, but she couldn't refute it. After all, it wasn't surprising for a church member to say such a thing.
Suddenly, a burst of bright light erupted from the bucket.
The light lasted for about three breaths.
Wendy has achieved her own awakening.
Wendy looked down at her hands, turning them over and over, then looked up at her surroundings, her gaze shifting from Christina to Dora, from Dora to Tilulu, and finally settling on Wayne.
The panel popped up.
Name: Wendy
[Identity: First-Order Witch]
[Awakened Ability: Eye of the Spy]
[Ability Description: Able to glimpse fragments of the future. These fragments are usually short, vague, and lack context, and not all fragments will come true. A small portion of these fragments originate from one's own imagination and will appear mixed with the real future during the glimpse.]
[Note: Fantasy is usually quite far-fetched.]
[P.S.: The first future scene she saw was you taking off her clothes, and then... of course she watched the whole thing; she hopes it's real.]
[Additionally: 1 extra water element overflow event]
Wendy's gaze lingered on Wayne's face for a moment, then quickly shifted away, then back again, then away once more. The tips of his ears were red, burning from his earlobes all the way to his auricles, standing out starkly in the steam of the medicinal soup.
Emma peeked out from behind Wayne.
"Wendy, Wendy! What ability have you awakened?"
Ella stood next to her sister, holding a dry towel in her hand, waiting to dry Wendy's hair.
Wendy shook her head.
"It's not an elemental ability."
"What's that?" Emma leaned forward.
Lillian was also very curious at this moment.
Wendy shook her head.
"It doesn't seem to be an element."
"Not elements?" Emma tilted her head. "Then what are they?"
Wendy hesitated for a moment.
"The Eye of Peeping".
"The Eye of the Stalker?" Emma repeated. "What's that?"
"You can see fragments of the future."
The room fell silent for a moment.
Emma blinked, then blinked again.
"future?"
"Um."
"Really?"
Wendy didn't answer.
Emma leaned closer, staring into Wendy's eyes as if trying to find something within them.
"So what can you see now?"
Wendy shook her head.
"We can't see it now."
"Oh, I see..."
